We have big (80 pound) neutered male rescue hound, who endured significant trauma and abuse before his adoption. He’s 4 years old, and is scared of his own shadow. Top Knots & Tabbies is the only place we’d consider getting his nails done/​grooming needs. The staff is quick, efficient, professional, and sensitive. They were just as good with our dear departed hound, who was fragile and well taken care of by the groomers at Top Knots until his death at age 16. We’d never go anywhere else.

Terry and her staff do the best job on my little Cali! Every time she leaves she looks like a new dog– pearly white and just adorable! You guys are the best!

I really wanted to like a small non chain local groomer. Unfortunately, my dog had scabs all down her spine two days after her grooming. I assume she was sensitive to whatever they used to brush her? She looked good when I picked her up but they told me she had attempted to escape. I had requested she not be put in a crate because she stresses out excessively. I was told upon pick up that they had left her on a table and she had chewed through the tie up and gotten off the table, out the little gate and was at the door when they realized.
Why was she up on a table? They also seemed somewhat aggravated with my dog upon pick up.
Like I said, I was looking to support a local business, but unfortunately I won’t be supporting this one again.

Top knots and tabbies is a Godsend… the staff is wonderful and patient with my ferocious kitty. We usually took him to the vet so they could put him under anesthesia for grooming but Tracy and her staff handle him gently and with ease. Never has he looked so good! Prices are amazing… highly recommend!

Amazing experience. I’ve been to many groomers in the Boston area for my very curly golden-​doodle and he has never come out as good has has here. They did exactly what I asked for. Most groomers will just do what they want even after you explain to them what you are looking for. They took the extra time to brush out any knots, instead of just cutting them, and ensured all areas were extremely clean. He came out show dog ready, and he’s not a show dog. I could not wait to show him off! Most people that know him have stated they have never seen him look so good. Tracy and her girls do a great job. They are very compassionate, love animals and their rates are really good. I will definitely travel the 40 minutes to get him done here more often. I have nothing negative to say. I’m so excited to know that I actually have a competent groomer, after many years of going from one to another.

I have had horrible experiences with other groomers they told me my cat was furious! Some one told me about this place! They told me my cat was very good and I’m so happy they took care of me! Nala loves her new look

I have two special Cavachons and have been trying to find a caring great place to bring my pups for a great grooming. Finally found it, Top Knots and Tabbies. We love this place and how they all take care of us!

We bring our extremely nervous hound here. He loves Tracy and they all do a wonderful job with him. They are kind, compassionate and do a great service. We were tired of the chain store impersonal service. We have found our local groomer! I highly recommend them!

I am so pleased with the service I received today for my cat, he looks fantastic! My cat had a lion shave and bath and he looks and smells great! Pricing is very reasonable compared to the same services that I’ve received else where. Tracy and the staff are very friendly and put up with my constant calling to make sure my kitty was ok. I will be referring my friends and family to this wonderful pet spa.

I have been trying to find a groomer close to my house, I found one! Staff was friendly and accommodating, I have been going to a box store and not very happy with the price or the results! Molly loved it, she is 160 lb Saint Bernard and came home worn out from her day at the spa!
Molly looks amazing Thanks to the ladies at Top Knots & Tabbies!!! Her coat is so soft and bright white where it should be, since being clipped she looks like she lost a couple of pounds, I would highly recommend this place, the pricing is very reasonable and the staff was very nice, we shall be seeing you ladies in a couple of months!!!
