Daniel Cullinane CPA

The audits Mr. Cullinane produced for us were filled with misspelled words and typographical errors. Even where the errors were immaterial in nature, they indicate a lack of attention to detail and call into question the accuracy of his work. My attempt to have him correct an error on one of our income statements was ignored.

On March 2^nd I went to Daniel Cullinane for a simple tax preparation. After waiting 2 weeks, Daniel Cullinane input my salary completely wrong on the tax return (it didn’t remotely match the salary listed on my W2), also, he neglected to include my older son on the tax return. Another huge oversight.
After listening to his doubletalk to try to explain away the mistakes, the revised return took another 5 days. Because I was already horrified by the incompetent service I had received, I just happily let it go at that and didn’t complain about the remaining mistake on the return — that I wanted my tax refund direct-​deposited and not mailed.
On April 27^th, 2015, I contacted the IRS to inquire about the tax return. There was no record of my ever having filed. I contacted Dan Cullinane to ask what the problem was. He said he’d have to get back to me. A few hours later, while I was out, he left me a voicemail message with more doubletalk basically saying that there was some additional icon he needed to click on or something in order to file. No apology or sincere explanation — just doubletalk.
Bottom line, after waiting for the initial tax return which had 3 major errors, and then the revised return days later, Daniel Cullinane never actually filed my Federal tax return until almost two months after I initially visited his office and well after April 15^th. His «service» cost me $ 325.
