At Optique Unique we begin with the optics. If you like our frames, you’ll love our lenses. We use mostly the best materials, lens designs and coatings from Hoya and Carl Zeiss Vision. We really excel in hard to fill Rx’s, if someone told you it can’t be done, try us. You can find some of the hottest fashion frames from the top designers. Optique Unique also specializes in Pediatric eyewear with the largest selection of children’s glasses in NJ.

History

Established in 2002.

I began in optics in May 1984 at Eyelab, the first super optical with an in house surfacing lab (where I started). From there I moved on to LensCrafters, where I opened multiple stores in the late ’80’s early ’90’s during their US Shoe, Quaker Oats years, staying mostly in the lab. Then after over nine years of corporate America I went on to private optical shops. Bounced around for awhile working high-​end to low-​end and doing managed care for Ophthalmologists, until I opened my own store in 2002, taking bits and pieces from all of my experiences focusing on Fashion, Function, HD Vision and Pediatrics.
