First let me say that I am an avid runner, running 50+ miles a week for years. I know running shoes and gear. I went to this store because they carried a brand of shoes that my local running store did not and I wanted to try them in person vs trial and error on-line. There were 5 sales people there and no customers when I arrived. I had to ask for help and it appeared that I was putting them out. I asked about the different models of the brand I was interested in and the gentleman helping me said that he really didn’t know anything about them. I asked if there was anyone there that did and he said«not really». Thank goodness for the Internet as I had to google the differences in the models while I was at the store. I was able to try them on and purchased one — but that was due solely to my own knowledge and research. As we chatted, it was clear that the employee was not a runner and knew very little about running. That was disappointing as I would have relied on him for help. I also would have purchased more but was just wanting to get out of the store. So — the store had a decent selection of shoes and some cute clothes. However, my caution is to know what you want/need going in. Based on my experience you will not get expert assistance there.

Horrible service! I only wanted to buy 2 Gus. One of two cashier’s spent no less than 5 minutes with one customer, chatting and chatting, finally charging them, and then charging for something he forgot. Then he pointed and went around to meet then somewhere else. I switched lines and when it was my turn, the cashier said he’d be right back. He went to another register and charged someone else. And when he was about to take the next customer, I said, «Excuse me, I’m still waiting.» He came over and told me not to be rude. I told him I had waited more than anyone in any line and he again said I didn’t have to be rude. He said they were busy and i said that if they are a race host store, they should be prepared and that it was he who was rude to me, making me wait and telling me I’m rude. He said«Whatever». If I really hasn’t wanted my Gus for tomorrow morning, I would have left. I bet they lose lots of sales because of too slow, chatty cashiers. I won’t return. What happened to «I’m sorry sir.» ??

This place is great! We were promptly greeted and felt very welcome. The sales associate spent a huge amount of time with us making sure we got the perfect running shoes. They have treadmills that monitor your run to ensure the shoe is correct for you. We were in there at least an hour, and never felt rushed or like we were taking too much of his time. They also have a great selection of shoes and clothes. We will definitely be back.

Recently visited this store while on vacation. The service was the worst I have ever experienced in any retail store. I am an avid runner and intended to purchase shoes and clothing to use while vacationing. No one said hello. No one helped me. No one asked if they could help me. I had to ask someone to ring me up. The associate dos not speak a single time while at the register. When there was a problem with the sale price he simply walked away. I asked another girl at the counter if she was working to which she said, yes-what do you need? She was horrible as well. She Basically walked away from the counter when she couldn’t answer my questions. I was shocked. I walked out without making a purchase.

Great service and a nice sales section upstairs. Got a whole running outfit, bra, skirt, Shirts, short and sneakers for $ 100. In most cases that amount barely covers a decent pair of sneakers. Get an analysis that will help you pick the best shoe for you. They will tell who how you distribute weight when you stand and record a slow motion of you running. Sales section has sales that are 30%, 50%, 70% and 90% off. My husband got personalized sneakers for $ 30. Overall a really good deal and staff is helpful. I would recommend this place to fellow runners.

this store was suggested to me by my personal trainer for new running/training shoes. after going to a store in aventura mall i was concerned about looking for running shoes because my previous experience was horrrible. when i walked in Stareco Copeland was a bright fresh energy willing to help me and not at all discouraged by my lack of enthusiasm. he was over and beyond helpful and i left with a pair of shoes that is both comfortable and stylish. i would reccomend this store to anyone looking for runnning/training shoes. Stareco was beyond helpfull and fit to run is really lucky to have him. i will most definatly go there again to purchas my next pair! ask for him he is so nice

I heard about this place from a buddy of mine that explained how they video record you on a treadmill and explain your gait, pressure points, etc. I’ve been looking for a good pair of running shoes so I decided to visit the South Beach location(there are others all over the place). Overall, I had a good experience and thought the evaluation was really impressive. My only qualm was the sales person there that, pretty frankly, kept asking me if I was going to buy anything before he spent the time to do the evaluation(which I totally respect). It just could have been addressed with a lot more finesse. After I has to convince him that I was a serious buyer, he did a great job in explaining my pressure points and that I have an over pronation when I run. Anyway, the sales person and I built a good rapport and he explained that he works of commission(I asked him) so I was happy to make sure he gets credit. Although, I had a $ 20 gift card that wasn’t able to be used until next week so I explained that I’ll be coming back when I can use the coupon to buy everything. From that moment, the sales persons demeanor completely changed and started saying he doesn’t make commission but if I don’t buy the shoes today, he will lose his job. Now that’s where my experience turned south. Still, I purchased the shoes but will return for the insoles they recommended. However, the sales process and handling of my concerns was totally unprofessional and, in my opinion, a little shady. I still give the review 3 stars because of how cool the video and evaluation was but probably would recommend people go to another location because of the customer service.
