I was fortunate enough to get a referral from a friend about Jonathan from Four Paws Pet Care 4 years ago. This is the only company that has the Integrity I trust with my dogs and in my home. Jonathan has come to my aid in many emergencies. He has got a great reputation with many dog owners. Talk to him about great deals on dog meds. I’m sick of being overcharged! I highly recommend Four Paws to anyone looking for a dog walker/​trainer/​sitter as well as other services. Thank you Four Paws and Jonathan for many more years of impeccable service.

What can I say except these people are angels ! They took my two dogs last minute and when I had to extend my stay they did it for me with no problem. My dogs almost forgot about me being gone. They made me so comfortable and relaxed about leaving my pets with them that I was able to do what needed to be done while feeling at ease about my babies (my pups) being across the country in their care! Four paws is by far the best place to leave ur loved ones with I will never use another service for as long as I live. God bless them

This is a much overdue review, but it gives me more to write about!
Jonathan at Four Paws has been more than a dog walker or pet sitter for my Daphne. So I was planning on getting a dog in the next few months but one day (in August) I fell in love with the most adorable barely 2 lbs 8 week-​old Snorkie (mini schnauzer and yorkie mix). We connected so I knew she was for me! Now, I work in an office, which isn’t close enough to home to come by for lunch, so I decided I’d have to suck it up and pay someone to come spend time with her throughout the day. Monday morning I decided to pick up Daphne on a Thursday, take off Friday, and that would give me almost a week to interview people to make sure it was a fit.
Let me tell you what I learned quickly:
(1) there’s a lot of people that want to either get into this pet care/​services space or want to expand into the beach area (tons of high rises in small area)
(2) if you care about your pet like I do (you’d think I just brought home a newborn baby, I didn’t even let most people I interviewed meet her), then you’re going to be pretty selective. First impressions are so important, you want someone who immediately gives the sense that he/​she loves animals and loves what they do
(3) unless you’re looking for something like daycare, prices varied by generally 5 bucks, but up to 15 (daily)
So back to Four Paws…
I had interviewed two other people I found via Unilocal,and had sent emails to probably 10. I was starting to wonder if I made a mistake since I hadn’t found someone I was comfortable with. Then I asked the front desk at my condo building and he quickly said «Jonathan, of course. He is here all the time. He deals with most dogs and cats here «. I can’t believe I haven’t thought to ask sooner! Then to make myself look even worse, I checked my email and saw not only was he one I reached out to, but he had quickly responded, and I was the one who dropped the ball! Now, it’s Friday night, I have to go to work Monday, and I’m frantically emailing Four Paws! Luckily, they were so quick to respond, and set time to meet with me Saturday morning! Needless to say Jonathan was the first person I actually allowed to me Daphne, and I knew from that moment he was passionate about his work and my Daphne had a new companion!
It’s now been 3 months and I don’t know what I would do without them. They don’t just walk my dog. They send me daily photos, tell me about her behavior and if anything is wrong. Basically the highlight of my day at work is getting these pictures!
One day Daphne, who is super energetic and bounces off the walls, got a little boo boo on a paw before her walk. Jonathan immediately called/​texted to let me know the situation, which made me feel so relieved. It wasn’t serious, but being over protective I took him up on his offer to take her to the vet. He took her to OUR vet, and when they were booked for the next few hours, he took her back two hours later. That was more than I could ask for from anyone! Really though, I am so grateful to have Four Paws!
Four Paws is now an extension of my family simply because I think Daphne may love her daily visits as much as seeing me! They are professional, compassionate, and not at all about overcharging.

Four Paws is the best!
Jonathan is super friendly, professional, and courteous. He’s available via text, which is super convenient for me. Jonathan takes care of my two cats, who are rescues and very picky about who they butter up to. As soon as Jonathan came into our home for our meet-​and-​greet visit, the cats were all over him. You could tell instantly that he loves animals and is comfortable with them. He got down and gave them lovin and instantly made me feel like I made the right choice in someone to take care of my fur babies.
My cats were extremely well cared for. One of my cats gets a daily medication and Jonathan had no problem giving her what she needed. He also was able to take in my mail and water my plants. I came home from 6 days away and my basil looked better than ever. So did my cats. =)
My favorite part about Four Paws taking care of my kitties were the updates. Every visit, I was sent photos and videos of my cats to let me see how happy and well cared for they were.
We already have future visits scheduled with Four Paws and will continue using their service next year when we add a dog to our family! Thank you so much for the exceptional service!

We are so happy to have found Four Paws for pet sitting our cats. We have a special needs cat, who requires medicines twice a day, so it is almost impossible for us to travel together. Not any more! Jonathan is so thorough and put our minds at ease while we were out of town. The daily pictures and videos were a highlight and made us rest assured. We will use Four Paws again and again in the future!

I do not think you will find a better pet sitter in Miami. I have had some bad experiences w/​sitters in the past and even crazy experiences just interviewing potential pet sitters. With Jonathan it was perfect from the first phone call. Jonathan is not only clearly an animal lover but he is also very professional, friendly, responsible and runs his business extremely well. His photos were great and he was great at keeping in touch. I have not felt this confident with any company ever in Miami. Thank you Jonathan for doing such a great job w/​my pets! Four Paws pet care is the absolute BEST! I could not imagine a better experience, regardless of the type of business – every business owner should be as kind, generous, honest and caring as Jonathan at Four Paws.
When it comes to your «fur babies», you want the best care possible; just as you would for a human baby. With Four Paws, I feel 100% confident that my sweet little Italian Greyhound, Bodhi, is getting the treatment he needs and deserves. Jonathan has been taking care of Bodhi ever since I first rescued the scared little dog 2 years ago. I was a first-​time dog owner, and entirely unsure of how to deal with the terrified animal, as he had clearly been abused. He was afraid of EVERYTHING, and I was totally overwhelmed, unsure of how to help the poor thing.
Enter Jonathan… to the rescue!
He reassured me that Bodhi was in fact a very easy dog who just needed to get settled in. He worked gently with Bodhi on walks every day to get him more comfortable. Bodhi is a special dog in that he is a breed (Italian Greyhound) that is naturally nervous and timid, but EXTREMELY gentle and affectionate; plus, he was abused before I rescued him, so he is easily scared of things that most dogs wouldn’t be bothered by. Jonathan understands exactly how to work with Bodhi and what he needs.
Now, when I leave town for a few days or even a longer, 10-​day holiday, I am able to rest easy knowing that Bodhi is being boarded at Four Paws, in good hands. Jonathan and his family treat Bodhi like a family member in their own home when boarding him; they don’t shove him away into a cage as in many non-​home-​based boarding centers.
Jonathan also sends amazing photos and videos of Bodhi which I’m able to share with family and friends on social media — they love it, and so do I! Best pet care in Miami, no question.

Four Paws is truly the best! A reliable, trustworthy, responsive business in Miami — hard to come by! We have been using their walking and pet sitting services ever since we moved to Miami in July 2014. My French Bulldog Bruno gets a mid-​day walk Monday through Friday, and we board him with them whenever we go out of town. They understand my dog’s limitations in the extreme Miami summer heat, and take extra care while walking him since he is a very naughty street scavenger. Four Paws also goes out of their way to make the experience extremely enjoyable for your pet — Bruno often gets to take his walks with neighborhood friends, and always has fun playing with the other dogs during boarding. As other reviewers have described, Four Paws gives consistent updates and sends great photos while you are away. I cannot recommend them enough!

This is a person that truly takes care of your pet as if it was his own. Always grateful finding people that do their job with such care and compassion.

Totally recommend Jonathan at Four Paws. I was only in Miami for a limited time & had no one to watch my dogs (Gunner & Gia). They are my fur-​babies and I spoil them so it’s hard to just leave them in the care of a stranger. But Jonathan did fantastic with them & I appreciated the text and photo updates everyday. Plus he made a YouTube video of them, yes… make Gunner & Gia YouTube famous Thanks again for taking care of my two doggies!

If you know me you know my dogs are my life, for those who don’t know me but are pet owners know how hard it can be to leave you’re babies at home. I am writing because only with four paws pet care am I at ease. I trust Jonathan with my dogs like I would trust my family, and only since using him can I travel with peace of mind. I highly recommend him for any of your doggie needs!

Jonathan came, met our cats and explained we would get texts/​photos each day
He did not disappoint
The photos were hilarious and came daily

I was VERy nervous leaving my dog with a stranger, but as soon as I met Jonathan I could tell he loved dogs! He calmed all my nerves and took the time to answer all of my questions. He also sent me pictures and updates so I was at ease while being away. When I picked her up I could tell she had a good time and was comforted by the fact that Jonathan really got to know my dog and appreciated her special character. She was calm and didn’t seem to have her typical separation anxiety. I will definitely recommend Four Paws and happily give them 5 stars.

I wouldn’t trust my English Bulldog with anyone else. My dog boards with Four Paws while I vacation. I am able to go away with peace of mind. The owner treats my dog like family. The location setup is perfect. It has a large outdoor area.

First off let me say that I am very particular about my dogs, Cookie and Gracie. I home make their food and am very careful who I leave them with as they are rescues. I was a nervous wreck the first time Jonathan watched them, but he was so awesome. His personality just really put me at ease. He sent me so many pics of them on walks and even a couple of videos. I could tell the girls were really having fun! :D Jonathan has been watching the girls for a little over a year now when we travel and I never worry in the slightest! In fact, we moved 2 hours away, but if we travel, we STILL drive to Miami Beach to have him watch the girls. I just cannot imagine anyone taking as loving care of them as he does.

Four Paws Pet Care and the owner, Jonathan, are the only ones I trust my bully with. Four Paws pet care is the highest quality pet care in Miami. Jonathan obviously loves what he does and he is great at it. I always feel at ease knowing my bully is in great hands while I’m away.
Jonathan always sends pictures and texts with updates and my bully gets so excited to go with Jonathan! The rates are also extremely reasonable. Stop your search for overnight care for your fur baby, you have found the best!

We love four paws pet care and use them all the time. We wouldn’t trust anyone else with our little one Yankee. They’re incredibly reliable and wonderful to work with. You can tell they love what they do!

I am not sure where to start as there are so many wonder things about this company. So, I guess I will start at the beginning.
About a year ago when I was looking for someone to watch my puppy for the first time, two of my coworkers recommended the owner of Four Paws Pet Care, Jonathan. As a nervous «mother» to my sweet puppy, Frank, we set up a meet and greet with Jonathan where he answered all my questions! And I sure did have a lot.
We use Four Paws Pet Care quite frequently. Frank is always very excited when he realizes where he is going; he can’t stop wagging his tail. Jonathan runs his business out of his home; he is very organized and super easy to communicate with. He makes you feel at ease while your puppy is in his care. Jonathan texts us pictures and videos of Frank on walks, lounging around or playing outside. He is great with Frank and clearly loves what he does. Whenever Frank comes home from a stay at Four Paws Pet Care he returns home Healthy, Happy and Exhausted from all the exercise he gets! Another plus is Jonathan’s rates are EXTREMELY reasonable, a lot more affordable than boarding him at my local vet.
If you are looking for overnight care for your puppy, look no further!
In my opinion, Four Paws Pet Care is a second home to my puppy, Frank.
