My new favorite place. .. the breakfast burrito is to die for. Not only is the food delicious, but the staff, namely Sylvana, makes you feel right at home with her attentive and friendly demeanor and attention to detail and cleanliness of the place. I highly recommend this place for any meal or just a drink. The atmosphere is great.

Hidden place with good prices and great food. Ordered a vegetable omelete and i it was brought to me about 5 to 10 minutes after I ordered. The waiters were very polite and attentive. Definitely worth the money and would come again!

It’s a little misleading to find this place. It’s right in front of you but the name isn’t visible because it’s attached to a hotel. When we went, it was pretty empty so we got quickly seated. They serve breakfast way past the fact, which is great for when you’re in a group where half of you wants to do lunch and the other half wants to do breakfast– aka, ideal for brunch. The pricing was not ridiculous either, which is surprising for somewhere on Collins in South Beach. My friend ordered the Eggs Benedict and I ended up opting for a sandwich after they said they didn’t have their ravioli today. The food was decent, not amazing, not terrible. I think this is a good place to go for your first meal of the day as long as you’re not trying to be impressed. If you’re a foodie, you’re probably better off somewhere else.

This place was good! Average pricing for South Beach… We stopped and had lunch. I had a steak and cheese wrap, and my boyfriend had the tuna sandwich. We sat in front of the hotel, because the back was being renovated(Sad about that). Waitress and bartender were very attentive(because we were the only ones there)… But, it was very pleasant!!!

I had my first breakfast in MB here after seeing good reviews on Unilocal. They were performing renovations and instead served breakfast at the front entrance. The server was extremely attentive and checked in on us and even offered to make a new batch of coffee that is less dark just for me. I had the miami beach special which came with eggs, one slice of toast and tiny portion of fruits. The food tasted alright, not bad, not particularly good either. I expect better from a 15 buck breakfast plate. I was very hungry two hours after this small breakfast. I know it is MB and all but the value of food here is below mediocre. ambience — **(we ate at the hotel entrance and not in the normal area) Taste — ** Options — ** Value — * Service -***** Overall -***

This place surprised us. It’s not often we eat at a hotel and have such spectacular food – and we travel often. The first night, we started with the chips and guacamole. A little heavy on the salt, but very appealing. Creamy avocados and crispy chips. After a great start, I ordered the Tuna. It was presented well with Israeli salad(which I was over the moon about) and basmati rice. It was fantastic. Tuna was nice and pink in the middle. Israeli salad was my absolute favorite(dear chef, thank you for adding olives to it… made the whole dish for me.) Side note: We are from the Midwest, so paying $ 10 per cocktail was a little bit of a shock, but we have learned is the norm in south beach. To their defense, they are liberal with the liquor. Second night: spent the whole day at the beach and seriously contemplated getting dressed up for dinner. Nixed that idea in the hopes of hitting another home run at the downstairs gem again. And they didn’t disappoint. I started with the chicken vegetable soup which the waitress told me was made to order. Big chunks of potatoes, carrots, chicken. Would have paid for the broth recipe. My husband had mozzarella sticks, which showed up with a nice salad dressed in a creamy vinaigrette. The special was pancetta penne in a tomato sauce with shrimp. Husband loved it. I ordered the salmon filet accompanied with yellow rice and a creamed spinach. Bravo. I desperately tried to lick the plate clean, however I didn’t want to embarrass my husband. If this is the norm for South Beach restaurants, I found my retirement plans. Well done.
