The Law Offices of Carlos M. Fleites were established over ten years ago with a focus on aggressive criminal defense.

Attorney Carlos Fleites graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Florida International University and with a Juris Doctor Cum Laude from the University of Florida.

During Law School, he worked extensively with the student legal services program providing legal aid to the indigent and oppressed.



Carlos Fleites was inspired to become a criminal defense attorney by the struggles of his father, Dr. Armando Fleites, who first fought in the Cuban Revolution in the hopes of establishing democracy on the island and later fought to come to the United States to live in freedom.

Carlos Fleites grew up with a deep appreciation for democracy and was taught by his father to never take freedom for granted. This is the reason as your criminal defense attorney, your freedom is of utmost importance to him.
