Best beagles and Nova platter I have ever had! The nova is literally like butter! And this is the only place that I end up having left over Nova, they really like it on!

Nice New York style deli. More of a casual sit down restaurant. Service is ok. Not a place to sit and drink for hours. But a good deli on the beach. I have never had any food that was bad at all.

Bagel Time needs to pay a visit to Roasters and Toasters for some tips on how to treat customers. We walked in and were nearly assaulted by friendliness! The owner or manager was sitting near the front door and he bellowed, «Welcome, welcome, come in, take a seat anywhere, I’m so glad you came in!»… I mean, say what?! I wanted to sit down and have a cup of coffee with him, and I’m certain he would have been OK with that! We had an appointment we were headed to, so we just ordered to go at the counter. The woman that took our order also prepared the food and while not nearly as effusively friendly as the guy by the door, she still managed to make us feel welcome. We ordered an everything bagel, toasted with chive cream cheese. It came appropriately toasted with a decent schmear of… scallion cream cheese. Close enough! The pricing is more reasonable than Bagel Time — I think the food was $ 3.25 or something. The only constructive criticism is that it would have been nice if the bagel was cut in quarters, but I’m really just being nit-picky here. Will definitely come here next time I get a bagel jones!

Came here after a night of partying on a cold rainy morning and literally wanted to order everything off the menu! This place is awesome! There’s a ton to choose from and the portions are insanely large! I had the build your own omelette with potatoes and it hit the spot! My husband ordered the Matza Ball soup and it was also pretty tasty. Only downside is that service isn’t too great. Our waitress was really nice, but the place was slammed and the food took forever to come out.

On occasions I am down in this part of Miami Beach for work. We have eaten pretty much everywhere along this strip, but I had yet to be to Roasters and Toasters. Our morning schedule ran pretty long, and we didn’t break for lunch until close to 2pm. Generally, I eat lunch at 11:30 so I was pretty hungry, but I also am trying to combat holiday weight gain at least a little, so when given the choice between a Cuban place and Roasters and Toasters, I selected the deli assuming they would have a few salad options that wouldn’t completely ruin my diet. Walking in the inside is nothing special. It has a diner atmosphere with a deli counter up front. It could definitely use some updates and a good overall cleanup, but you don’t really come to this type of place for the atmosphere. The hostess sat us quickly and the busser got us waters. The menu is pretty large. They serve breakfast all day, so the initial step is to decide whether you want breakfast or lunch. There are tons of lunch options with deli sandwiches, wraps, burgers, and salads. While I would have loved a smoked salmon platter and a bagel I stuck to my healthy eating plan and ordered the Greek salad. The food felt like it took a little while to come out, but that may have been because I was starving. When the salad arrive it was HUGE. A generous portion of balsamic dressing was served on the side, and it was delicious, but I made an effort to use it sparingly. The components of the salad were great. LOTS of fresh veggies, not all just a lettuce base with a few sprinkled in. Do use cautions, as the kalamata olives have pits, but I like eating olives with pits, it feels more authentic and it’s kind of an activity. My favorite part of the salad had to be the feta cheese. They did not skimp at all on that. Had I known there would be so much I may have requested they go light on it, but it was really good feta, and went great with the dressing, I just had to work around it a little in an effort not to eat a thousand calorie salad. The food here is a little pricey for diner food with the salad at $ 10 before any protein is even added. I didn’t, but you have the option of adding tuna, tilapia, chicken, or tuna salad, for an extra three to five dollars. A fifteen dollar salad is pretty pricey, but for the size is easily two meals. We skipped dessert but I saw I giant piece of chocolate cake headed for another table that looked really amazing. Despite the atmosphere not being great, and the prices being a little on the high end(you are in Miami Beach after all) I am still thinking about that salad, so obviously I am a fan.

Authentic Jewish Deli!!! Everything we had was great! Matzah Ball soup, potato pancakes, lox, bagel, seared tuna wrap! I would highly recommend! They even had the Dolphins game on! Even though they lost we really enjoyed ourselves and the food!

First off let me say our server was amazing as was the food that is why this is 5 stars, there were some other employees since it was an hour before closing hiding out not wanting to take tables but she did, now very sweet older woman and she busted her ass taking care of everyone. Food was great they went above and beyond giving us boxes for our leftovers and silverware since we were in a hotel. Sandwiches are so great as well as the burgers. Fries were homemade and a little crispy but still amazing. Great family running this and very friendly. Definitely a great hole in the wall

Food was very good. Service is super bad but what do you expect when there is 2 waiters on Saturday at brunch. I’ll come back regardless.

Loved it here! We were in Miami for 3 days and ended up having 2⁄3 lunches here. Great options, big menu, delicious food and friendly service. Someone from the Fontainebleau hotel concierge recommended this place and we greatly appreciated the tip!

Very good bagel. I ordered cream cheese bagel with salmon on top. It’s delicious. My husband took chicken cesar salad. Ambiance is casual. They also have a big menu. The staff is welcoming. Ideal for breakfast or quick lunch. Will come back or maybe I will call for delivery. I already took the menu with me for my next order.

First time here. Fun laid back atmosphere. They have unique items like celery soda(don’t knock it til you try it). Claudia and Ebony were super helpful and really made the experience. We sampled the tuna salad and chicken salad and they were both amazing. We ordered the R&T burger and Mega Blue Burger. Neither was amazing. Both kind of dry and flavorless. However, I will definitely be back for the tuna and chicken salad and Cream Soda!

My husband loved his corned beef.sandwich. He said the meat was lean and tender. The sandwich looked like a smaller version of the Carnegie Deli sandwich. We were happy to see that they carry diet Dr. Brown cream soda . I had a very satisfying hamburger and fries. The service was efficient and fast. The server was friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is a little drab and outdated.

Very good Jewish deli. Great hard salami– and that’s tough to find. Not much of an atmosphere. But helpful staff and also a good breakfast. Good French toast. I’d go back here. Definitely and authentic NY feel.

I came in to have lunch with a lovely friend of mine found the place to be very clean very friendly perfect lighting we had the best spot in the location overlooking Arthur Godfrey 41st Street the food is extremely large in portions which is nice considering the price, It was so much food that I was able to take some food to the beach with me. The quality is definitely their and you can taste it and the staff is very friendly not to mention the manager«Josh» makes a positive impression. I highly recommend Roasters & Toasters to everyone!

I have made this a staple lunch spot every time I am in Miami… which is quite often nowadays. I have tried quite a few things in the menu and Roasters has never disappointed me. My first trip here was by far my favorite. I ordered the BLT and was I surprised when it came out and was so big it was hard to take a bite out of. The bacon was perfectly cooked an the thick slices of tomato were at the peak of ripeness. My only complaint about this restaurant is that two of the times I have visited I did not receive the fries I had ordered with my sandwich. The server was more than happy to correct the error though so it was a very small issue.

4 stars with reservations. Food was as authentic Jewish style deli as any(not kosher). Sandwiches were generous and the rye bread fresh. My only hold back was the slow service. To their defense, it was a full house on New Year’s Day. Would absolutely go back or do take out if really busy.

Oh-My-Gawwwd! (Picture Janice from Friends saying this as this place is about as Oy Vey as it gets) Wanted to try an authentic Jewish deli while we were in Miami Beach. Found this place completely by accident while stopping at the CVS across the street. The pile of succulent meat atop the perfectly toasted rye with just the right amount of kraut was to die for. You call that a Reuben? Indeed. It was a REUBEN! All caps because it’s worth shouting about. 4 stars instead of 5 because… (a) a bit pricey($ 13.50 for said awesome reuben) (b) $ 5 for shoe string fries that weren’t anything special(and such small portions) Service was wonderful. A lovely lady, from Peru we learned after a little chitchat, took care of us like we were visiting dignitaries. Would go again in a heartbeat… pass the lox! I need a shmear!

A local staple that’s simply fantastic. Great food — great and fast service. For good deli there’s only one spot on 41st! Try the matzo ball soup or potato latkes! They’re the best! Also the deli sandwiches are huge. Bring your appetite and you’ll be set!

An oft visiting customer I always lean towards the smoked fish platters, my New York calories beg for it. Most times when I am with someone we share the two or three option platters which is way way overloaded! Love the non pretension of the place and I’ve used them for ordering business breakfasts as well. Yes, the service may not be the fastest, but it is a comfort zone. I think I’ve had lunch there maybe once, billy for a nice brunch this is the spot. Weekends are busy, and noisy, but the food reliability is what keeps me happy! Def a repeat customer and it goes it’s job perfectly. Ps– a friend once ordered the challa French toast and boy, I was in love!!! No carb left behind! We cleaned that like nobody’s business!!!

It took a good 10 minutes standing at the counter before anyone even acknowledged me, let alone take my order. After I put my order in, it was about 15 minutes before it was ready. I ordered a pastrami Rachel. The sandwich was good. The service was pretty terrible. No one was friendly, they all seemed stressed and understaffed, and kept telling everyone to be patient. It just seems like their system of operations isn’t working. They looked like a bunch of chickens running around with their heads chopped off. Meanwhile the dining room had a couple servers just standing around… Anyways, the pastrami slices on the sandwich were nice and juicy. The bread was crispy and the slaw was good. I didn’t like their deli pickle. I doubt I’ll be back because I don’t want to endure staring at a counter full of stressed out employees running around trying to figure out how to operate a restaurant. I rate the sandwich itself 4 stars. The service is a big fat 0. OH and another thing that bothered me was their napkins. They’re so cheap that their napkins they buy are like tissue paper and fall apart when you wipe your hands… THATREALLYGRINDSMYGEARS!
