Rocky’s Cheesesteak & Cheeseburgers

I dont the exactly know the time that is supposed to be opened but i tried the other day afyer 12 and it wasnt openes, tried yesterday calling and no one answered. I would like to try it, at lunch time when im on the beach working. Since they dont seem to have a regular working hrs, they work whenever they want im giving them a poor review.

This is a great place with cheap prices and great food. The burgers are excellent, the beer is cheap and the service by Ivan (owner) is friendly. We try to go there often. Highly recommended!

We had been here once before and quite enjoyed it. Ivan, the friendly owner, makes a nice cheesesteak sandwich. He even switched the channel so Bonnie could watch The Simpsons.
Whether you’re rolling off the beach or simply looking for an awesome burger and fries, do check Rocky’s out.
Sit at the counter, have a few fairly priced beers, and enjoy…
I would give 4 of 5 stars because Cheese Whiz isn’t an option. Bonnie hates the Whiz, so 5 stars it is…

I love Rocky’s! Ivan, the owner, is always friendly and just a good guy. You will know it’s open if you see Ivan’s beat up pick up truck parked around the corner. He has good burgers, but also some healthier fare, like a grilled chicken sandwich and salads. He is very cheap but only accepts cash.

If you’re looking for a great cheeseburger and cold beer for cheap in Miami Beach, then Rocky’s is for you.
Rocky’s is a no-​nonsense small establishment with a bar/​counter inside and a couple of plastic tables and chairs outside. There’s always some classic rock or alt rock blasting on the speakers.
I usually stick with the All American Burger with American cheese and bacon with an order of fries. It is awesome! The regular order of fries is big enough for two. I would have rated Rocky’s 5 stars but there is too much inconsistency with the types of beer on offer. Sometimes there is Budweiser sometimes there out. And sometimes they only have one or two types of beer to choose from. Other than that, the place is money.

WOW! This place had the cheapest beers in Miami! AND not to mention the burgers… are to DIE for!!! If you want an inexpensive but delicious lunch (con cervezas)… go to Rocky’s!

I can’t believe I haven’t Unilocaled this place yet! Rocky’s was my ultimate find when I first moved into the mid-​beach area a couple years ago. Since I moved to Miami, I’d been on the hunt for excellent burgers, and had yet to really find any contenders till I stumbled across Rocky’s in North Beach, thanks to a random snippet in the New Times.
The place is just a counter with a couple small tables outside. It’s never been packed, and most times my friends and I were the only customers, so finding a seat was never a problem.
Their burgers are awesome, as are the fries, in all incarnations — plain, cheese, or chili & cheese. The fish sandwich is good. The Philly cheesesteak is good. Everything and anything is great! This is definitely a must-​go!
The proprietor’s name is Ivan, but he goes by Drago (as in the Rocky movies, for all you movie buffs out there). He’s very friendly, and dishes up some of the best burgers & fries I’ve found in this town!
