Spa At Eden Roc

Fabulous Spa, wonderful experience. It’s a very clean, modern spa in a wonderful setting near the beach. The steam spa was great, hot tub could be hotter, and the sauna needs to be hotter’still very nice! The tea was delicious and complimentary chocolate pretzels.
The massage
therapist was absolutely amazing!!! She was so professional, very pleasant and made me feel very comfortable– because of Analise this is my favorite Spa ever. My recommendation is that they serve a complimentary glass of wine or champagne and fresh fruit — most spas do and I’m sure people would love that! They should also offer day packages, especially for Florida residents too.

I left here without getting a massage. The hotel was under construction. I made an appointment in advance but nobody bothered to tell me their hot water was out until I got there. Hot water is a pretty basic necessity for a spa. Then I had to fight with them to refund my gilt city voucher, after I was told that I could schedule another appointment but they had no idea how long the hot water would be out. The manager tried to offer me a free service for my trouble but I never went back. They were super disorganized so I imagine it would be a hassle to redeem that supposedly free service and that’s just not how I want to start a spa day. Spa days are supposed to be relaxing, not such a nightmare. I won’t be back, especially with Lapis next door. I have never had a bad experience at Lapis and they make sure you have a relaxing day.

I decided against getting any treatments here when I booked the hotel 3 months ago based on the prices. (They are pretty outrageous in my opinion…) However, when I showed up, I was super sore and really wanting a massage so I called for availability. I wanted an 80 minute massage, but they were accommodating a large group and fit me in for a 50 minute massage the same day. I was very thankful!
When I checked in, I was taken to the locker room to change into my robe. I noticed everyone else had champagne or a mimosa, but unfortunately I wasn’t offered anything. I asked a staff member for a glass of champagne, and she told me a glass would be brought to me in the relaxation room.
When I reached the relaxation room, no champagne and no relaxation… The large group getting treatments that day were in the room and were loud and rowdy. I stopped another staff member to ask for a glass of champagne who seemed annoyed, but she did bring one back for me.
The massage itself was wonderful. The therapist listened to me and really paid attention to me needs. The room was a little chilly, but the bed was heated so that helped.
After my massage, I walked back to the locker room to change and wandered around a bit. I found a room with a hot tub which was not shown to me prior to my massage. I wish someone on the staff had pointed it out because I would have loved to use it before the massage, but I didn’t have time afterwards.
I think this is a great option for someone who visits spas as destinations, as it’s really somewhere you could hang out all day, but for someone looking to get a kink out of their back, it’s a little over the top, and the staff (minus the therapist) weren’t very welcoming/​helpful.
If you decide this is the spa for you, book well in advance, and arrive early to take a self tour of the facilities.

I bought a Gilt for an 80 minute Swedish massage and was thrilled with my experience.
Ever since Spa Month last year I’ve been craving a good Spa day like the one I had at the Lapis Spa at Fountainbleu. While I liked that place (it is much larger and have a little bit more ammenities), it was quite packed and noisy. Almost «Club like» atmosphere than serene, which is what I was looking for today.
Fortunately, Eden Roc was very tranquil and relaxing. After checking in, I put my things away in the locker room and slipped into my robe and slippers. I was escorted to the relaxation room to wait until my service starts.
The relaxation room faces the pools and the beach, featured an actual fire place, and has water, tea, green apples and yogurt covered pretzels to snack on. I cuddled under a cozy blanket and read some books while drinking tea while waiting for my massage.
The massage was perfect. The therapist made sure I was comfortable at all times. The table was heated. The room was a comfortable temperature. I think I fell asleep twice!
After my service, I enjoyed the sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi. Overall, just the day of relaxation I needed.

We booked a couples massage for 50 minutes. The therapists arrived at 515 and the massage ended at 550 so it was actually only 40 minutes, if that after they walked us to the room, etc.
it was a good massage and the facilities are beautiful but for the price we paid, there is no excuse.
Last time I was there, I had an uncomfortable experience with the therapist giving me unsolicited advice.
I will not be back and would not recommend it.

This is a beautiful, gorgeous spa that unfortunately doesn’t satisfy. The massage was completely ruined by the fact that my treatment room was very hot and extremely bright and you could hear construction noise coming from outside. Note to staff: People don’t pay $ 150 for a massage to be exposed to bright light, noise and heat.
Oh, and did I mention that the rain shower was broken?
AVOID THIS PLACE.

Staff was very kind and attentive, and my hot rock massage was nice. Only problem: the heated bed, warm blanket, and hot stones combined with the 75+ degree room had me sweating like crazy! Overall, a nice place.

While getting a massage at another hotel for the Miami Spa month, the masseur there recommended me to try this spa, so I decided to book it for my grand finale of this year’s Spa month.
Of course, I didn’t expect a tropical storm brewing on my spa day, and even though I booked the time thinking I would have a chance to relax before my appointment, I ended up running late in the torrential downpour and lightning. There is a public parking lot next to the hotel, but I gladly paid the $ 10 valet (after validation, and not bad compare to Fontainebleu’s $ 17). Walking in, the staff helpfully asked the spa concierge to take me straight to my masseuse so I won’t lose any massage time, and told me that they would bring the robes and slippers to my room later. That’s impressive service, as it’s not their fault I run late and they totally didn’t have to do that, to help me get my full 50 min of massage.
My masseuse was Elainie, a very nice grandmotherly (the impression more for her kind, caring manner, not her age) lady from Russia. She asked if there was any area I want to work on, she inquired if the room was too cold, if I wanted my bed’s heat turned on (yes!!), if the pressure was right… making sure I was totally comfortable. I got the hot roc massage, and her stroke was firm but smooth, and I felt aches dissolving in areas I didn’t even know I was aching.
After the massage she came back with a lovely cup of tea on a tray. She even offered to carry my shoes (as I didn’t have time for the locker room), a generous gesture I turned down.
After the excellent massage I had time to explore around. The co-​ed lounge area is beautiful in white, plenty of sofas and reclining chairs scattered in the spacious room, so you can have several groups here and not feel the privacy intruded. There is even a fireplace to enhance the cozy vibe. There is iced tea along with nuts and pretzels, as well as magazines. But instead of reading, it’s nicer to just sit and enjoy the beautiful view of the garden (and a glimpse of ocean) outside.
There is a cold pool and a jacuzzi pool with changing color lights, sauna and steam room. Nothing that exactly wows, like the rain room in Fontainebleau or the rain shower with sound and light effects in Canyon Range, but overall, pretty good facilities compare to other spas in Miami. Not to mention everything works perfectly, which can’t be said of every place.
BTW, if you check in on Unilocal,there is an offer for an exfoliation bar. But it’s really an exfoliation cream the spa concierge blends for you to be used at the spa and not a bar you can take with you.

Thank you Miami Spa month for giving me the opportunity to check out this gem of a spa. I booked the «hot roc», which is Eden Roc’s version of a hot stone massage. It really was a five-​star experience. From the moment you enter the spa, it is like being transported to a tranquil oasis in the middle of Miami Beach. The lounge areas are spacious with gorgeous views of the beach and fully stocked with amenities, drinks and snacks. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well. Eden Roc has definitely been the best spa I have experienced in Miami and would highly recommend checking it out!

My husband and I had the best facials here by Valentina and Irma. The spa is beautiful, tranquil, and the products are very luxurious.
The staff was courteous and attentive. It was the ideal spa experience.

The Spa at the Eden Roc even with its current construction and slight inconveniences is still among my favorites, but sadly this last visit was a disappointment and should be noted to anyone booking future massages.
The spa facilities are nicely developed. The décor was aesthetically pleasing and relaxing, the service was pleasant and the deal was phenomenal (80 minutes for $ 107)
The relaxation room is a bright open space with lots of white, distressed wood tones, green mossy areas and natural lighting that comes in from the large bay windows overlooking the outside. All is conducive to a nice, relaxing environment as you wait for your therapist to come for you. While you wait, there’s yogurt covered pretzels– a definite highlight to my visit so make sure to try some!
BUTTTTTTTT…my biggest gripe which was my one major disappointment on this visit was the «turquoise room» where my massage was done– it’s by the POOL, and pool on a Saturday mid-​day is not a good idea! Some people can tune things out, but a person like me zones in on the distraction and it totally throws me off. So while I lay there in my state of numbness– my mind constantly kept wandering to the loud cheers coming from the pool and I found myself silently singing along to the Pitbull songs playing outside. At one point, my therapist blasted the spa music to volume: MAXIMUM and I could STILL hear the pool noises from inside the spa room. I don’t recall this from my first visit to this spa which is why I’m still holding hope it’s just THAT room on THIS day– In either case, it ruined what could’ve been an opportunity for me to have slept like a baby… waaaaaaah!
I still really love this spa so I won’t let this experience break up our relationship.

A great spa experience.
The Eden Roc is kind of under the radar as it isn’t as flashy as it’s neighbors (Soho House, Fountainbleu, etc.), but the Spa definitely delivers.
Really a great experience. Staff is top notch, the massage was amazing, the atmosphere is very soothing and tranquil and overall I was very happy with the experience here.
Would definitely recommend it.

OMIDOG!!! This place is GREAT! Monica, my spa guide for the day was absolutely amazing. Can’t put into words how special our bond was by the end of the day. I was there for nearly 8 hours. Next, my massage oh what a feeling, a superb feeling! Belkis who performed my treatment had all the right answers without words. Thank you thank you Thank you! I will definitely be back to pamper myself once again during Spa month and beyond! The facility, the PURE water, snacks, oil, the shower rainfall, steam, Jacuzzis, everything was excellent! Feel rejuvenated and ALIVE! WOW

The staff here was wonderful from the valet, to the cabana servers, to the fitness instructors. My expectations were far exceeded. Miami Beach as a whole is not known for good customer service, but Eden Roc does it right. I will definitely be back soon and can’t wait to try more workout classes as well :-)

Slightly disillusioned.
The spa is simply striking. With natural touches throughout, the space itself is ample and fresh. The hallways are zen-​like leading to gorgeous lounge areas as well as a locker room equipped with a spa, refreshing rain showers, and steam rooms.
However, after recently booking a deep-​tissue massage I was disappointed. With a spa of this standard I expected much more when it came to the therapist. It was barely a Swedish massage and I had to request more pressure on more than one occasion. I left with lingering tension instead of feeling refreshed.
Aside from the bland bodywork, the hotel was going through major renovations which made for a really rowdy pool experience.
I’m not denying the Eden Roc is beautiful and worth the views and responsive staff, but I would wait until the Nobu Hotel reno is over before booking a spa day — and request a ‘recommended’ therapist for your treatments.
Lesson learned…

FINALLY a real spa that deserves to be called a spa. I don’t even know where to begin and I’m sure I will forget a few things. Service starts when you give you car to the valet and ends there (offering you a bottle of water at the valet! That’s 5 stars service).
The spa is absolutely gorgeous. Never seen anything so beautiful. And I have been to many spas in Miami, including in luxurious hotels but by FAR the best one and most luxurious one. I got married at the Eden roc 4 years ago and the spa was still under construction so I had never gotten a chance to experience it. Yes it is an experience!
The slippers they give you are amazing! Yes I’m writing about slippers people!
The lounge area is breath taking and very very comfortable. I wouldn’t have minded spending more time before my massage there just relaxing.
My masseuse Tiffany was the best I had in my entire life. She was very knowledgable and attentive and you can tell she knew what she was doing.
I didn’t get the chance to stay at the spa afterwards because my children were sick so I can’t really talk about the other amenities except to say I wish I had stayed.
I will FOR sure be back there for massages and more. That is my new to go to place for massages.

I had an amazing Sunday afternoon at the Eden Roc spa. The whole experience was just pampering and relaxing. The spa facility itself is very beautiful and the décor is really contemporary and cool. Lots of terrariums, clean white lines, and sunshine. From check in you’re escorted to the locker rooms and have the option of enjoying the pictured amenities or waiting for your appointment in the relaxation room. The amenities are amazing especially since I had them all to myself! The pool next to the jacuzzi is COLD. Like, very cold lol. But there’s a nice warm jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room as well. I love that it’s not crazy packed like Lapis spa. The relaxation room is so beautiful, I really enjoyed the décor and how comfortable it was. They have water, tea, chocolate covered pretzels and trail mix which I thought was a nice touch. They also keep all the good magazines around and they are all recent and up to date. The masseuse was really nice and I felt brand new after. If you’re thinking of coming don’t think about it anymore, just go

I love this! My whole experience was awesome… I got a deep tissue massage from Atara… She did a great job! I love how you have access to all the amenities until closing and the fact that everyone was really nice and professional was a plus… You can not go wrong coming here… It’s on the pricey side but I promise you get your money worth

Wow! The spa experience here was amazing! So beautiful and so serene on the inside. Lounge area is great. Eliana gave me a hot rock massage that I will never forget! She was total awesome sauce!
I also love that they give you access to all the spa amenities until closing if you receive a spa treatment. I took advantage of the sauna and steam room and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience here. When I’m in Miami again, I’ll definitely be back!

The best — hands down.
Luxury treatment all the way, and a very personalized experience. In my opinion, nothing beats either the Elle Spa or the Mandarin Oriental spa. choose one of these and you are golden.
Again, keep in mind, both of these hotels require valet parking, which is an unforeseen pricey expense.

Massage and facilities were decent but not for the price ($ 200) especially since they add a 30% service fee. Not impressed.

My best friend and I took advantage of the «spa month specials» for July. We got facials and massages for $ 99 each service. They normally run $ 145 each. The place is BEAUTIFUL! Ocean view lounge area! They have 2 hot tubs, eucalyptic infused steam room, sauna, and sauna cool off shower. They don’t rush you to leave and that’s amazing! You get your own locker that you set the code for! Well worth it! Gratuity is added into the bill.
