Affiliates for Evaluation and Therapy, Inc. began in 1980. It is a small, private practice dedicated to providing quality psychological services at an affordable price. Our therapists are highly-​trained, professional, and well-​liked by their clients. It is our mission to put psychotherapy in the reach of everyday people with everyday problems.

Meet the Business Owner

Shelley — actually Michelle S.

Business Owner

Dr. Shelley Slapion-​Foote — or «Dr. Shelley», as her clients call her — went to Barry University — back when it was still called Barry College — and then graduated from the University of Miami in 1984. She worked for the largest group of mental health care professionals in South Florida for many years, in a variety of capacities, before opening Affiliates for Evaluation and Therapy, Inc. She proudly works with her husband, Dr. Frank Foote, whom she met while in graduate school at the University of Miami. They are about to celebrate their 33^rd year of marital happiness and bliss.
