This club is great. The service is amazing and you are right near E and D. Always somebody at the desks to help you, and typically this place is less crowded then the others. No complaints.

One of the worst Admirals I’ve been. Concourse D is supposed to be remodeling… But as of 2 days ago… Nothing going on. Rude and tight service to the many options available to be able To enjoy the service. If you are a frequent flyer… They won’t accept PriorityPass, or any other. Just AA Admirals or Pay. And Is NOT worth it!

There are 2AC in terminal D: D15/D30. We’re in D15. Spacious, lots of snacks, drinks, bar area, kids TV room. Has shower, women has 3 toilets, men 2 kinda small for this size club. Very nice though. To save money on your travel adventures… TIP: for layovers whenever we travel we use airbnb, saved $$$ from traditional hotel. You get $ 25 off your first stay if you have a referral coupon code from an existing AirBnb customer. I have a referral coupon code, but Unilocalers can’t publish it on their reviews, so lemme know if you want my coupon code… I’d hate to have anyone pay full price! lol TIP: use Über to get to/from airport(or wherever), first ride free. On our last vaca, hubby & I signed up and each got a free ride, so free ride airport to hotel(airbnb condo) and free ride from hotel to cruise port saving $$$ from shuttle transfer or taxis. Conservatively, we saved over $ 200 on lodging/transportation costs. You get a free ride with a referral code… but can’t publish it, lemme know if you want it.

Gets less full since Amex pulled the contract with AA. In my opinion this is better than the Centurion lounge(which is always super full). You have to pay for the hot food and drinks(international flights get two free drinks). Staff is extremely nice and helpful. I do wish they had a better espresso machine, but the food selection is always reminiscent a pleasant travel experiences. Worth the money if your are not a member, and have a super long layover.

Very good experience at this Admiral’s Club. The staff at the bar was very nice. The bathrooms were extremely clean. The best way to wait for a fly specially long flights.

Oh my gosh. So so rude. I was walking up to the counter as the person in front of me was walking away. The lady behind the counter said wait! I got some coffee at the coffee bar and asked the lady standing there if they had sugar. She very rudely said its right there. I said that is equal and asked again if they had sugar. She said twice as rudely it’s right there. We went round and round until another lady walked up and told me the same thing. Finally she said oh she means the brown sugar. ANY sugar people. The only reason I am giving this place two stars is because it’s clean and they have food. Every single person I have encountered here has been extremely rude

I think that the Admiral’s Club will let in US Military personnel when traveling on orders, but they only ever ask to see an ID(even though I have orders to show them). Staff is always super friendly and happy to have me use their lounge. Free snacks and drinks; quiet and relaxing surroundings; wifi access; power for charging; TVs for watching. They have a reasonably priced menu if you’re hungry for more than a snack. Chicken hummus sandwich is my recommendation. Sam Adams, Islamorada and Bud Light on tap. Thanks to Terrell, the club gatekeeper, for really making me feel appreciated. I was having an epically awful day. This visit has turned it around. Thanks, American Airlines!

We had some time to kill before our flight out of Miami, so decided to check out the AA lounge. Man, I wish our home airport lounge was this good. Even with quite a crowd(we were traveling over the Thanksgiving holiday), the lounge was arranged in a way that made it feel as though you had enough personal space to spread out and do some work. The snack bar was a little congested, but you could tell that the staff was trying their best to keep everything stocked and accommodate requests from customers. They were also working double time to keep everything clean — honestly, this is probably one of the best AA lounges I’ve seen in that regard. The lounge has full showers, in the event that you’re either coming straight from the beach or a long international flight. Bathrooms were ok — nothing special, could have used some updates, but were clean overall. There were also plenty of business stalls, in the event that you need some peace and quiet to get things done. Overall, it’s a solid lounge that has everything you could ask for. Sure the décor is a little Miami-in-the-90s, but I’ll take that over a lack of solid amenities any day.

Your allowed one alcohol drink. So you better enjoy the hell out of it. They don’t have food most of the time. When they do(I waited two hours because they said 3PM even though it was actually served at 3:08) it’s soup. Vegetarian soup. No protein. And they had velvety, cherry tomatoes. and cheese. For all other times they do have pretzels and nuts though. Oh, and ‘real’ food for sale.

I have been to this location a few times over the years. It located up stairs near gate d30. There are many pros with this club as well as many cons too. This location seating is dated but comfortable. Café style seating near the bar and towards the front of the club. Communal seating towards the center of the club and more private seating in certain ends of the club for the anti socals. There is a separate business center near the reception desk. Offers computers fax and copy machine and designated staff on site. Showers available throughout the day. Only issues i had was the lack of toiletries offered in the showers. They offer many real food for sale ranging from sushi to sandwiches and salads. Pricing is pretty reasonable from 7 –15 dollars. I my optional is to stick with the sandwiches as they are made daily and to order. Salads and sushi don’t look or taste fresh. Bar offer limited complimentary well spirits and beers and well as premum drinks for sale. complimentary snacks are very limited and laughable just cookes and a wird trail mix. Breakfast just your typical carbs muffins, bagels and sweet rolls. Service at this lounge is a may issue. The staff seem to be more happier in the morning than at night. Pros US airways club members have recipical access. Cons they discontinue AMEX platinum card users access last year. Over all ok club with comfortable seats and showers, but need improvement on complimentary food. Before the merger is completed with Us airways(Us airways club food is better).

I had a 6 hour layover in Miami after of 10 hours trip. I was able to take a shower and a nap. Place is clean but there is not a place to lay completely flat.

This is really the only way I want to be when I’m at the airport. My husband has lounge access and it’s opened up a whole new world. It’s clean quiet had has plenty of amenities. Shower if your flight has been long or just sit at the bar and enjoy a complimentary beer or wine. The food selection varies, but there are always tasty snacks and a coffee machine that will make you almost anything you can think of. Free WIFI and seriously comfortable seating. Can’t wait to fly through Miami again.

If you are flying out of E terminal, you can stop here. This place is SOMUCHNICER than either of the D terminal clubs. The food is excellent and the service is personal and immediate. I did not even know about the extent of the E terminal but it is pretty huge, I think it might be the original Miami airport terminal building. I am getting the impression that this is going to be the new US Airways terminal, so flying out on US Airways might get you access to this.

Very minimal. Lite snacks and staff was not very cordial. No phone charging stations — can you imagine??? US Airways much better. If this is what to expect after the merger, I will not be joining.

Relaxed at the D15 club during my 5 hour layover because I was too lazy to walk all the way to D30, which apparently is the main club and is a lot larger. It was nice to be able to take a shower after a 4+ hour red eye flight. The chairs are more comortable than the ones in the terminals, but wish they had couches I could’ve laid down on since I seriously needed a nap after flying all night. They had crossaints and danishes out for breakfast when I arrived and you can get coffee from the machine. I would recommend only getting the regular coffee because the cappuccino tasted awful. There is also a full bar you can get drinks and order real food off the menu. Prices seemed fairly reasonable compared to inside the terminal. House wine and beers are complimentary, just don’t forget to tip the bartender!

It is what it is. a get away from the crowds in the gate area. Clean bathrooms, quiet work areas but the masses can be great and the noise level high. It also is often kid central.

It is with dismay that American Express and AA Club will be severing ties as of this March 2014. I believe Citi will be the new partner for the club. Although I am not a frequent visitor of the AA Club, it still sucks having some portion of your benefits stripped away… No matter, here are the deets(and at least I got to try it out!) My parents and I were flying with AA, but on coach. We were asked if we wanted to shell out $ 50 per person to visit the lounge, and because we had our Amex cards, we decided not to purchase(and good thing we didn’t!) As soon as we entered the lounge, a greeter said hello. I asked if our Amex cards would be accepted here and he said he wanted to see them(?) to ensure we really had our cards. Then, we checked in and had to take the elevators up. This place, as all the reviews say, is packed! It really is hard finding a decent space together(if you are travelling within a group). The space is huge though, and this lounge has showers. There is a nice bar area, although the time that my parents and I went, it was packed. There is a smaller«café/market place» right beside the bar and I am not sure what this area is for. There are free drinks available(alcoholic) and there are also beverages for purchase. I initially went to the café to order my free drink. The lady than said she had no wine opener and if I could ask someone at the bar for one. Okay… so I did(it was busy) and it took a while for someone to come with me with the wine opener… only to be told that I shouldn’t be ordering wine here!!! In any event, it was a lot of fuss to order my free red wine, but I am glad I did. There are complimentary coffee/tea and snacks(cookies and fruit), but not much else. Free wifi in the lounge. Overall, I am glad I came here, but I wouldn’t have paid $ 50 to enter! On that note, I would encourage anyone with a membership to try the lounge out. It does have showers and who can beat free alcohol.

There are few things I love more than free chocolate chip cookies and unlimited Nescafé. For these reasons alone, Admirals Club at MIA is awesome in my book. Add to that comfy couches, impeccable bathrooms with doors, not stalls, and comp premium drink tickets handed to you upon arrival(even if that happens to be 8 am), and you’ve got yourself a little corner of paradise, within a world of concrete and steel and bright green reflective jackets. It’s my first time here, so I’m awestruck. I hardly mind the fact that I will probably be in this exact spot for the next 5 hours, due to the absentmindedness and comemierderia that led to our missed flight. Actually, lounging around here longer than we should have the first time around was precisely what caused us to miss said flight to begin with! So curses and blessings, AC-MIA, all at the same damn time. Now for another cinnamon latte.

Routed through MIA from Dusseldorf, Germany(Air Berlin/AA co-share) and used the Admiral Club showers to freshen up. Nice reprieve from hectic MIA terminal especially for those that travel often. The Admiral Club’s customer service reps are always on hand to take care of flight issues i.e. cancellations, re-bookings and upgrades. I only rated three stars because the domestic lounges do not compare to the international lounges.

Starting to look a little worn. It was in overflow mode the day I was there. Difficult to find a relaxing spot. 2complimentary drink vouchers were received but I didn’t redeem them as I could not get to the bar initially or find a server. Snacks were indifferent. Some cookies, some carrots and celery sticks and a little fresh fruit. no form of protein unless you chose to order from a very weak and overpriced menu. AA needs to look at their overall product standard. Check out some of their partner airline lounges in London or Hong Kong for example. This was, for a major hub lounge, a thorough disappointment.
