Amazing dog boarding/​sitting and amazing people. We try to take our dog Wallace, a french bulldog, to Barkhaus for doggie day care once a week because he has a great time and always comes back happy/​tired. We have used Barkhaus to watch Wallace one weekend and he had an amazing time. They were so accommodating when our dog stayed there for the weekend and needed to be given his medication. They have a huge backyard for the dogs to play and also take the dogs on long walks every day. I highly recommend Barkhaus for anyone needing dog sitting or doggie day care in the Miami area.

Barkhaus keeps it reeeeeeaaaal professional! It’s a classy joint that manages to also be completely warm and laid back.
They seem to have a well-​oiled system, as they responded almost immediately to my emails, and yes, I’m ashamed to say, there were many emails. Payments are submitted online which streamlines the whole process. They made sure the dog had the proper medical history, which made me feel safe leaving a puppy around other dogs, and were very accomodating both times I needed to extend the boarding period.
I’ve seen both Andres and Natalie with the dogs and their love, patience, and passion for their business, really shines through. I was able to relax during my vacation because I knew she would be well cared for. They are clearly extremely knowledgeable when it comes to proper dog care, and their need for play. It was clear to me that she had a lot of fun while boarding at Barkhaus.

I boarded Stella, our Bull Mastiff puppy at Barkhaus for 6 days while on vacation. When I picked her up I could immediately tell that she was very well cared for. It is clear that she received a lot of attention and love. It is obvious to me that the business owners have a deep understanding of dog behavior and more importantly, a great passion for what they do. It can be stressful when figuring out where to board your dog because a lot of business are mostly interested in making money and you can’t be sure if they are in the right hands, this couldn’t be farther from the truth when it comes to Barkhaus! It is clear that they have a genuine love for dogs and it shows in the way they take care of them. I also found their prices to be very reasonable. Kudos! And two thumbs up!

I’m so glad that I found this place! I initially picked Barkhaus because they emphasize obedience and structure for the dogs. I don’t like my dog to roam free and misbehave. I take my dog here for boarding and daycare. Andre and Natalie are super responsive to email and text. They are very accommodating, especially when I ask last minute to drop my dog off. My dog is always super excited to go to Barkhaus and he comes home happy and exhausted from playing now all day. I highly recommend Barkhaus because they run a great business.

When I first adopted Ruby, I was extremely apprehensive about where to leave her while I worked my sometimes 16 hour shifts, and with an incredibly busy schedule, I was nervous that I may have made the wrong decision to adopt a dog at that time.
Barkhaus alleviated my nervousness from day one. With dogs of all shapes and sizes, and a tired little girl at the end of the day who greeted me with kisses, I knew I’d be okay.
I will say Natalie and Andres are very protective of their facility, and rightfully so. There is a huge liability when you’re dealing with other people’s fur babies, which makes me trust the way they run their business even more.
This is a small business to get behind and have truly earned my loyalty.

From first hand experience, Andres and Nathalie from Barkhaus are and have been amazing! We see the positive changes in our dogs personality and ability to play other and be part of a great pack! At Barkhaus, they care for the dogs as if they are their own pet. Plenty of love and care while providing a structured awesome environment.
The location is bigger that some dog parks plus very safe and lots to do. you and your pet will love it!

A coworker recommended this place and I’m so grateful for that. They really know how to keep dogs entertained and active. I’m not sure what kind of magic they use to keep dogs still while they take pictures of them, but I LOVE the pictures they have taken of my little chihuahua.
The fist time I brought Lupita to this place Natalie recommended me to change her food for a better quality one because I was given her the equivalent of McDonald’s every day. She even emailed me links to different brands of food she recommends. If that’s not caring for your dog then what is?
They are also very responsive when you contact them and the payment process is very convenient and straight forward.
I don’t believe in dogs staying at luxurious hotels, that’s just not in their nature. What they need is love, run around, play, eat when they have to, and rest. This place gives them that and more.
Another coworker is bringing their dog here as well. They also love the place.

Worst pet care experience ever. If you love your dog and want respectful interaction don’t come here. Firstly I tried calling and leaving messages with no reply for months. Finally they emailed to shove me into a first avail slot without asking when I needed or any other show of human interaction. when I asked about the program and care, pointing out they have pictures online where they takes a dozen dogs out and have them off leash in high traffic urban areas, they told us we’re not the right fit. So if you want to have your dog running free in the streets with people who clearly don’t want to be responsible, I guess this is for you. Let me say I’m no stranger to pet daycare. We love Dog Dude Ranch and every neighborly mom and pop service. We only tried this because it was so close to home and work. Take care of your pets and stay away.

Even before I adopted my dog I knew I wanted him to come to the Barkhaus for daycare when I have to work. He absolutely loves it there and gets so excited when we drive up! I always feel at ease knowing he’s in great hands and gets plenty of play and exercise.

Unreliable bad business owners. Had appointment to drop off my dogs for boarding with barkhaus. Owner emails me day before my trip that they can no longer accommodate my pets. And then wouldn’t take my call. Had to cancel my trip. Thanks again barkhaus

Hands down, this is the best place for your dog when you can’t be with him/​her and even if you can, your pup will love spending time at the Barkhaus. I’m so, grateful that we found this place after moving here from DC and to Andres and Natalie for giving individual love, attention, and discipline to each and every dog. What an amazing place! The care and dedication they have is unprecedented. I’ve never felt so at ease about leaving my pride and joy with anyone until now. There is so much space for the dogs to run around and socialize. The qualified staff are patient, informant and true dog lovers. Not to mention the experience and training as well. A definite place to take your beloved pet for assurance of good care. The Instagram updates are a bonus on top of all else.

I cannot recommend the Barkhaus more. Andres and Natalie leave my portuguese water dog, Luna, feeling happy and tired. They both are very professional and seem to love what they do. Luna literally runs from my car right through the door to greet the other pups. The Barkhaus is very flexible and accommodating, a couple months ago, I missed my flight and had to pick up Luna a day after. The two were very nice and assured me that it was not a problem. The drive up to their place is SO worth it.

I found Andres and Natalie by chance and I am thrilled that I did. We needed a safe and fun place for our dog Ruby to stay while we enjoyed a family vacation and The Barkhaus was more than we expected. Andres sent me photos and updates while we were away and it was obvious that Ruby was having a blast staying with them. Their home is clean, well kept and is the perfect environment for any dogs’ stay. It will definitely be her home away from home and I plan on using them again for our summer vacation. If you’re considering a kennel — DON’T! The Barkhaus is awesome, you won’t be disappointed and your furry friend will thank you. My only concern in sharing my praise for Andres and Natalie is that it won’t be the best kept secret in dog care.
