History

Established in 1994.

Dr. Beatriz E. Terry has been practicing Periodontics and Dental Implant procedures since completing her residency in 1994. She is a native of Miami, Florida and returned to her hometown when she completed her program. The practice was recently relocated in February 2015 to a beautiful state-​of-​the-​art facility located on Sunset Drive in South Miami.

Beatriz E. Terry, DDS, MS is a Board Certified Periodontist. She completed her dental education (DDS) from Marquette University in 1991 and a residency and Masters in Science degree (MS) in Periodontics and Dental Implants from the University of Minnesota in 1994. Dr. Terry is very involved in continuous education. She lectures to local and national dentists on subjects related to periodontics, dental implants, and on the relationship between gum disease and numerous systemic diseases like heart disease, stroke and diabetes. She is past president of local dental associations like the South Florida District Dental Association, the Florida Association of Periodontists, and the Miami Dade Dental Society. She is currently a trustee to the Florida Dental Association, a Delegate to the American Dental Association, a Florida Dental Board Examiner and a member of the Miami Dade College of Dental Hygiene Advisory Board.
