Checker’s Drive-In Restaurant

Had to repeat the same thing at least 4 times. Pay attention! It’s simple. Food was ok. Usual fast food quality.

I came to this place after coming out of a club. When I was going to place my order I want to vice but the system was down and that I would only have to pay with cash. When I came over to the window I was told that my order was going to be delivered over to my car and then I would have to move immediately out of the window. I was still talking with my friends and I want to ask for a second time to move out of the window immediately. I knew already that something was wrong and then what beard to be the manager on duty came over to the window to ask Mead to please move after three minutes of waiting for my order. When I finally moved over to the parking spot these lady came out with my order and gave it to me. I can home and when i unpacked my order I noticed that there were couple things I did not order. My order were 3 Big Buffords and nothing else. That will add a total of around $ 21. I got 2 extra sides of fries mixed with nuggets (I never eat fries and I hate nuggets) and was charged 29.99 in cash.
My mistake at the moment was not the chick that there was a receipt stapled to my bag. There was none when I wanted to check it.
Too bad for you as a company I’m for you as the employees on duty to treat you customers that way.!! SHAME ON YOU!!!

Have tried to go to this location two different times when staying at a hotel a few blocks away.
Have found that if you are not Hispanic forget about going there for they are very discriminating toward white folks.
Was standing in line at the walk up window today at about 1146am, a Hispanic man walked up and had his order taken immediately while I still standing there waiting to order, not sure what was said about me in Spanish, but decided to walk further up the street to Subway.
Very sad cause I really like Checkers and that employees treat certain customers of non Hispanic race this wa.

This is the only checkers by my house… that’s the only reason I come here and this people always have the orders wrong which socks since is everything I come. Please open a checker with better employee

I went through the drive-​thru. The order taker did not know about low carb burgers (no bun, ingredients in a lettuce leaf.) They did not have whole lettuce leaves just shredded lettuce so they put it in a box instead of wrapping it in paper. I guess so the condiments would not leak in the bag. Got it home and the meat was no good. I think it has tasted better in the past because of the bun. It makes me realize that this cheap burger patty might not be all quality meat. I think I will try other menu selections from them in the future. I did not see any wraps or salads on the menu. Cashier was pleasant and fast.

Like a girl that always takes back her man, I’m a sucker for Checkers and always come back, even if it’s not good to me.
Came for a quick lunch with my husband today. I had the Big Cheese combo and there was nothing big or cheesy about it. All I tasted was bread. It was as if the burger patty was missing. My husband says his double was salty. The only good thing about Checkers is their fries which I happily feast on, but even those leave me feeling like a greaseball, and I later feel remorseful about having them.
It’s a vicious cycle, this relationship Checkers and I have — I always come back for more. But this is the last time –it’s over!

My once a year indulgence. I know this cannot be healthy, so I limit my visits, but god, I love this food. The fries are grease covered, and crunchy. The burgers and amazing. Not as good as shake shack or five guys, but they have a different, unknown quality to them that drives me to desire them each time I drive by.
Standard fast food service, dual drive through (kind of cool), and nothing fancy food, but god I crave this stuff!

Food was okay… must be fluent in Spanish to order apparently English isn’t their first or second language here… the manager was rude and contrite, and the food order was wrong but the food tasted good…

There’s nothing like a thick chocolate shake from Checker’s. Add to that shake a double patty chesseburger with bacon and their Cajun-​spiced fries, and you have a great fast food meal. In Miami, Checker’s are not as easily found as Burger King, McDonald’s, or Wendy’s; in fact, Checker’s are very few and far between. Thankfully, this Checker’s is just close enough to satisfy my craving for a chocolate shake (and fries) every once in a while.
