History

Established in 2005.

Cohen & Associates Public Adjusters have been representing home owners, business owners and homeowner associations with their property insurance claims since 2005. We began assisting the public after hurricane Wilma in 2005.

Since we are one of the original public adjusting firms in South Florida, we are very well recognized in the industry with insurance companies and their adjusters. Our reputation speaks for itself and a large majority of our business comes from recommendations of repeat homeowners and business owners just like you.

I have been working in the property claim industry since 2000. From working in the reconstruction business and water disaster industry, with homeowners and business owners having a broken pipe to fire/​smoke damages. I have always been helping the public get their life back on track with their repairs and dealing with insurance companies.

In 2005 when Wilma hit everything changed; In the Public Adjusting industry with more disasters, more claims to be paid and the general dealing with property owners by their insurance companies. That is when I decided to get my public adjusters license. Having so many years of experience in the reconstitution industry and property damage industry, I had developed a well trained eye on assessing any type for property damage. With that being said I got my public adjusters license and have been successfully servicing home owners, business owners and home owner associations as a Public Adjuster, Property Claims Mediator, and Property Claims Appraiser
