It is the worst service center for the worst company. Comcast is a monopoly and acts as such Bullying clients, exorbitant prices, shamefully rude service

Well it’s Comcast, what can you say? I knew we should have went with ATT, but our building only allowed Comcast for some odd reason. Customer service was very poor.

Comcast is much cheaper than AT&T, so they have the cheapest service! You can never solve your internet problems in Comcast! If you have money or high requirement about your internet, never choose Comcast! And if you already have Comcast, remember to check your bill every month and keep your receipt, because these people always give your extra bill!

It’s not often that I like writing one star reviews or sounding like a cantankerous septugenerian but with Comcast I will indulge!
First of all, it’s a monopoly so I have no choice to use them unless I don’t want a cyber connection. It’s like being forced to eat fast food all the time while your taste buds crave gourmet. Sometimes that fast food gives you indigestion, such as when your service goes out and you have to call them, and either be told to report trouble online… physically impossible when your Internet is out or be made to do their work for them by troubleshooting. Let’s not even get into the hard to understand offshore call center reps either! If they come within their two hour appointment window (usually at the end of it, just for fun) they now charge you if they deem the trouble isn’t due to their equipment. I’m a structural engineer, not an electrical so damn if I know.
Today, that indigestion went to a full blown food poisoning since they decided they’re going to start metering usage despite me having signed up for a 2 year contract to keep the inflated mc food prices low. yep!

Hello Brandon has been trying to get cable for 4 days and u won’t give it to him plz give it to him I can’t FaceTime with him cuz his internet sucks. U people have horrible customer service and we will no longer be taking ur shit. Thank u.

This company is a CRIMINAL monopoly. Unfortunately, they are the only internet service available in my building. Their «performance internet» is a mediocre 25 MBPS with spotty connection that costs me $ 70 a month. Several times I have had to call to get them to «re-​set» the service because an internet speed test shows it is half the promised speed. I review the bill carefully each month because after each phone call, sure enough, a random charge appears on the bill and I have to call the dreaded customer service to remove it. This last time I was promised a «FREE» upgrade to faster internet «for my troubles» — HA! Nothing is free in this life. They sent me unnecessary equipment, signed me up for an upgraded package and extra channels — the new bill was now $ 81. I once again had to call and have them remove charges and now I need to take the time to return this equipment to a service center. If you have the benefit of choice STAY AWAY FROM COMCAST!!!

Criminal company. Not only do I have no other alternative for Internet in my building but they now force you to wait in line to return equipment you didn’t even ask for. There should be a better solution and it should not be legal to allow the company to dominate the market and treat their customers however they want.

Do not come to this yard /​office /​service center.

Very bad service from Comcast.
Comcast has a waiting room with 20 customer chairs and 4 attendants; I got the «take s number ticket» #23 when they were attending customer #4 and it took 1 hour to reach # 10… meaning one customer each 10 minutes… So it will take me up to 130 minutes to reach #23.
There are 36 people waiting in line.
The last person will have to wait 360 minutes.
I will not wait 3 hours to solve a problem of $ 50 with Comcast; I prefer to go to their competitors.
It is a lack of respect, and an abuse from Comcast to make customers drive one hour round trip and wait 3 hours to solve COMCAST PROBLEM, so they can make money and retain me as a customer.
So we the customers put the waiting time to save Comcast The cost of having enough attendants.
The whole idea is not to attend the customer, so we cannot claim to solve the problem, meanwhile they charge in advance every 40 days of service even if the problem is not solved.

I have been to this location many times and agree with every single negative review. One star is too much, but as a bonus to those who like to read reviews I am including the correspondence I sent to my US Congresswoman:
Dear Ms. Ros-​Lehtinen, This is my first letter to your office and I am writing with disappointment and anger in my heart. I just got off the phone with what is almost definitely my least favorite corporation, Comcast/​Xfinity. I could genuinely entertain you with pages of horror stories about my experiences with this company including the one where they reported my 96 year old grandmother to a collection agency over a $ 30 billing mistake they made, but I am writing today because I have discovered an issue that I think needs to be addressed by the US House of Representatives.
Today, I was informed via automated text message that I had a past-​due amount ($ 48) on my Comcast/​Xfinity bill. I immediately logged into my account via Comcast’s website and found that I was indeed carrying an amount of $ 48 past due. I spent at least 10 minutes trying to figure out why I had this past due amount as I have been successfully using Comcast’s «Auto-​Pay» feature for years which has been charging the amount due to my AmEx card automatically every month.
Professionally, I have been managing a technical support help-​desk and have trained thousands of people how to use a sophisticated database for the University of Miami for more than 10 years. I could not figure out my Comcast bill for the life of me. At this point I had to login to my bank account via my bank’s website to investigate further. This is how I discovered that Comcast had NOT automatically withdrawn my payment last month. So now, I don’t know if you’re keeping track, but I certainly am… I have been at this overly complicated problem for more than 30 minutes with no success and I am now forced to make that dreaded call to Comcast’s «Customer Service» hotline or what I like to call the Devil.
This is a summary of what transpired: I made an adjustment to my «Auto-​Pay» last month (I changed my payment method from my AmEx card to my Wells Fargo Checking account) and since it is 2015 and smoke signals can only move so fast, it takes a month for any changes in Auto-​Pay to take affect (Unacceptable! and as far as I am concerned part of this scam). When I made this change via my online Comcast account I was not given any active warning of the overly generous amount of time needed to complete my billing method change request. When it came time for Auto-​Pay to take over and pay my bill, it was still within this required month grace period so Comcast did not take my money in exchange for services provided and instead charged a late fee of roughly $ 9 to my Comcast account, which as far as I can tell was not readily disclosed on the bill that I poured over for more than a half hour, it was instead buried in the current month’s charges. So… to say the least, my Comcast bill did not add up no matter what I did to try to make sense of it.
My «Customer Service» representative was, however, able to explain that any change to Auto-​Pay takes a month to go into effect so Comcast automatically charges a late fee to customers who use Auto-​Pay and make a change to their payment method… how convenient (sarcasm). My «Customer Service» representative also explained that the only way to get the late fee reversed is to call Comcast, therefore, if I had not called and investigated this matter, Auto-​Pay would have ramped up this month and charged me for my current fees, plus the past due amount and ever so kindly, my late fee. So, if I had not been on top of this situation, I very easily could have been taken for a $ 9 ride without ever being the wiser.
How many other Comcast customers have been bilked out of $ 9? My feeling is that it is a significant number and these kind of dishonest practices should not go without repercussions. I believe Congress should be protecting the consumer by making regulations requiring that online billing by monopolistic pseudo-​utilities like Comcast be much more transparent and user-​friendly.
I dare anyone in Ms. Ros-Lehtinen’s office or any Representative for that matter to go to the BILLING website of any public/​private utility (including cable/​internet and cell phone providers) and tell me that you had a pleasant experience attempting to do business there. At the very best, they are adequate. It seems disappointingly clear to me that Comcast is using the unnecessary complexity of their billing website to their advantage, painting me and countless other consumers as suckers.
Please help!

I arrived at 8:25 am. Unilocal says it opens at 9:00 am, but that is wrong. I took a number before I noticed that I could make a short line at the back to return equipment. It took me 15 minutes to return a modem and two cable boxes. Then I sat down and waited to talk to someone at the counter. There were only two people working the counter despite there being 20+ people in the waiting area. A third person came out at 9:10 am and Called my number. She and her manager were just as helpful as the guy, Julio, that checked in my equipment. I was out at 9:18 am.
I have had pretty miserable experiences on the phone so I was extremely (and pleasantly) surprised at how friendly and helpful the folks in this Customer Service office were. They fixed in 55 minutes what has been a problem for me for over two years.
I wish I had come to this location a long time ago!

If I could give them minus stars I would! Their customer service us sub par; the automated system is annoying and if you don’t say you want to do the survey, they disconnect your call! It has happened to me on several occasions. Why must we suffer this way? I supposedly have cable with a 50mbps internet and I can’t even get 1080dp resolution in some channels. My internet freezes all the time and mysterious charges appear on the account that not even the person at the customer service center could figure out! WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PEOPLE? They deserve for everyone to sign up for streaming TV and let their cable service go bankrupt; maybe in this way they’ll learn to focus on what matters… the customer!

Ugh This Company sucks! I’ve been forced to use them for the past two years at two different locations. The location installation was a joke. waiting all day for someone to come and hook us up being charged $ 60 everything they come out even if they don’t hook it up right and having to call again only being charged $ 60 again. The last time they promised me they wouldn’t charge me again but of course on my next bill there was a charge. I called they said they would take it off. The next month the charge is still there now with a late fee. ugh really?!
The next time I had to use them everything was hooked up already except for my bedroom. I called and I had to go down to pick up a basic cable box. since I work 9-​to-​6 I had to go down on Saturday, big mistake. I waited for four hours to pick up a basic cable box and when I got home it wouldn’t connect! Really?! I used my roommates box to check and it did connect so I know it wasn’t my TV or cable cords it was the box. I called Comcast no joke at least 10 times trying to get it to connect finally she offered to mail me one for free. well after two weeks I never received anything So I called back and she said no one sent me anything. let me try again. couple more weeks passed and of course no box. I ended up going back to Comcast to get the box and waited for another hour before I gave up and left. I now watch TV on my computer. which sometimes doesn’t work because the Comcast Internet sucks.
I will say the customer service reps on the phone were always nice but once we hung up they never fixed what we had talked about. Forcing me to call again and again. every month there is an issue with the bill and they just raise their prices on all of the rental equipment. I AM SO OVER COMCAST I CAN’T WAIT TO MOVE JUST SO I DON’T HAVE TO DEAL WITH THEM EVER AGAIN!

My representative, Walter Lachiondo was great. These places are never fun. But to have all the negative reviews is a joke. Come early on weekend, it’s pleasant. It’s not the DMV. Come, be patient and stop whining!

It is what it is and sometimes you just have to come to this place. Oh well.
… And yeah, Comcast sucks but it’s better than the alternative so what does that say about the other companies?

Comcast has the worst customer service ever. Stay away if you can. This is what happens when a company becomes a monopoly in cable service.

Simply a clinic on incompetence… make sure to find your happy place or spend an extra half hour in yoga before attempting to interact.

This is by far the worst customer service you could ever imagine. They lure you into a new plan after you threaten to quit only to secretly modify your channel lineup. And a few months later they stealthily jack up the prices. This company is designed to ruin your day and chip away at your monthly wages This is universal as I can vividly recall the same experience about ten years ago while living in NYC. Be prepared to spend an hour on average talking to some person who’s half listening, possibly streaming some D-​rated movie on their computer.

Absolutely positively the worst internet cable company with horrible telephone service and even worst– this downtown miami service center is a disaster.
I left Comcast switched to Direct TV after my experience at this service center and with comcast in general.
STAY AWAY from this ripoff scam company!

I dont have any options other than Comcast cast. Even though it had over price rate, annoying customer service and unimpressive services. One of the worst companies I dealt with. luckily they have my cousin inside so that I can have a better connection.
I would never recommend this place to someone I know even if they dont have any places to turn to. Better think first before going into this place, you might regret doin it.

We kept having one problem after another when we began service. They didn’t cover wall holes from cables they removed, forgot to bring the guide listing phone channels we receive, refused to mail that channel listing, gave us the wrong DVR, forgot to contact us when the correct DVR was in stock. Finally complained via Twitter and things started to happen. They sent the channel list by mail, installed the correct DVR, fixed wall, etc.
Advice: Don’t bother with the call center; go straight to Twitter, complain there and deal with the folks who they have you contact.
By the way, the phone service, tv service and internet service are all good once they finally get it right.
