Really yummy empanadas and sandwiches! The beef ones are great, too. Small place but perfect for a casual lunch. They have fresh juices which are nice, too. Worth checking out.

Minimal selection, 4 empanadas to choose from. Had the beef, spinach, and chicken. Slightly better than your Miami gas station variety, in no way a gourmet treat with ground beef rather than cut steak and so on. No chimichurri to go with empanadas and other menu items look uninspired. Fresh carrot orange juice was a nice plus tho. All in all your average neighborhood convenience store food.

Fantastic! Definitely will go back, tried all four empanadas each was great but the chicken was superb. Tried Melanio sandwich, called delicious bites now, outstanding. Really want to try their Cuban sandwich, and anything else on the menu!

Drove by just by chance, if you blink you don’t see it. Went back with my wife, Tokk home some meat empanadas and a flan/cheesecake . Being from Argentina I can tell you these are some of the very best empanadas I’ve eaten The dessert was something new for us and of course was also delicious. They are off the beaten path but it’s worth going there. I forgot to mention their prices are absolutely affordable.

Simple little place on the more industrial side of Aventura, right off the train tracks on West Dixie. The best Argentinian empanadas in the area, and also great Sandwich de Miga. Fast friendly service and make sure to get there a bit early if you want to get a Milanesa Sandwich, they go fast!

I had heard very good things about Delicious Bites from both Gina and Mike, so I knew it was going to be sooner or later that I too would make the short little jaunt from office to restaurant. Today was that day. The craving set in yesterday evening, and when someone showed me the menu this morning I knew it was a sign that I must make the journey. So I grabbed Gina and Mike, and a few others and we made our way over. Prior to my visit, I had heard many great things about their Argentinian Empanadas, so my main goal on my first; and not my last, visit was to try these delectable treats(@ $ 1.50 each). So I strolled up to the counter and ordered four; one of each(ham and cheese, spinach, meat and chicken). Once they were brought out to me, the only question on my mind was which one to eat first. Pot luck brought ham and cheese my way, the dough was so fresh and just delicious, and I noticed I did not have any ham and cheese yet… the next bite brought that lovely ham and cheese and that mixed with the freshly made doughy pocket made my mouth sing with praise. Next up was the spinach, and it totally surprised me. It was soooo good. Some corn, red pepper, and fresh spinach or escarole… tasted more like escarole. WOW!!! My taste buds are dancing with delight. Chicken came my way next and with its hint of spice and little bit of egg was definitely making my mouth even more happy. Finally, came the meat one, and it too made my mouth do back flips; if that is even possible. When my plate was empty I was very sad, and very tempted to order more, but I did not want to overdo it on my first visit. I heard the hype and I am here to say the hype is believable. Delicious Bites Empanadas are to die for and have permanently been logged into my taste bud memory banks. If I had to rank them, I would have to say that the spinach one was my favorite due to it’s full flavor and sheer surprise to my palate. Next would be the chicken, then meat, and finally the ham and cheese. I look forward to returning to Delicious Bites soon to try out many more of their menu items, and having a few Empanadas as well. Plus, the price is right and worth the drive.

Again, I have to thank Gina for showing me this hidden treasure! Just got back from having lunch at this joint, and I am almost at a loss for words. I ordered a Fresh Mozzarella sandwich, and a few of their delicious Argentinian Empanadas. The sandwich was truly amazing; everything about it was indeed, fresh! Now, the empanadas definitely take the prize. Soft. Baked to perfection. The meat, the chicken, the egg, the olives… All brought together in what can only be described as a raging orgasm in your mouth! We saved a couple of them for snack time later, I can’t wait. This place delivers, too. I highly recommend Delicious Bites to EVERYONE! Well worth your money and your time!

OMG I am eating as I type so much in LOVE am I with my lunch that I am afraid will forget how good it was and not do it justice if I type this later. I am eating THE best Argentinian Empanadas I’ve had in a long time. I had both a beef one and a chicken one they were both plumply stuffed and MOIST and full of flavor. I’m sitting here alternating bites of deliciousness between spoonfuls of an awesome Shrimp and Corn chowder. Lots of chunks of potatoes and corn and shrimp in a smooth creamy bisque. Delicious Bites is a very friendly little place about the size of my living room. A real mom and pop operation with a little terrace outside with tables and chairs. It is located on the other side of the train tracks from Aventura Hospital, right next to Aventura Waterways K-8 school They have a full lunch menu of cold and hot sandwiches and about 10 salads to choose from. The prices are great too. My cup of soup was $ 2.50 and Empanadas at 1.50 a piece certainly came to a reasonably priced lunch. And they deliver for lunch from 10:30a.m. — 3p.m. Now, what am I going to do when I finish eating this? My taste buds are going to die of loneliness.
