History

Established in 1996.

It was founded in 1996 by two dedicated men. Mr. Fernando and Mr. Paul, who passed away in 2010. they were two hard working guys that helped the community during their time at the head of the shop. Since 2014 is managed by the Marino family. they had more than 30 years of experienced and they still helping everybody with their cars. The customer safety is their priority.

I am Alexander Marino, owner of Devonaire Service and Tire. We like to solve some people’s problem, and we decided to keep working with what we are most passionate about: cars. Every time we fix a car we resolve a problem for somebody. This is a family owned and operated business. I have been working with cars for more than 30 years, and now I have the privilege to have Alex Jr. and Antonio helping me out everyday. «Its not what we can do for Mrs. Jones on Tuesday, but what we can do for Mrs. Jones in a lifetime of Tuesdays»

It is hard to find great customer service in Miami but Devonaire tires was definitely a breath of fresh air.
The owner explained to me step by step the process and the time it would take to replace my tire.
Very fair price for same day at home service.
Extremely happy with their service. Highly recommend.

I was kind of leery with new owners. Didn’t know much about them. But they were very helpful and courteous. They showed me what was wrong with my vehicle that needed to be fixed. Gave me a quote, but when I picked up the vehicle they said I didn’t need everything they thought and it was a lot less than I expected. They did make some recommendations and told me they were just recommendations. I’m glad I gave them a second look.

I found this place on Unilocal with all the good reviews. I am still new to the area and was somewhat skeptical being a girl in a new area that auto shops would rip me off. But because of the good reviews I decided to give it a try when I needed my oil change. They were super tentative and gave me the price right away. I afraid I was going to have to wait for awhile because I came in mid day. They gave me an estimated amount and were super efficient. They even asked me about other things such as when my tires were rotated and also educated me on how many miles I should go before getting my tires rotated. I seriously know NOTHING about cars and just go when the light turns on. But I am glad they were telling me things so I would know in the future. I will gladly go again for my next oil change/​light comes on!

Sorry Fernando… You sold a great and HONEST business to a bunch of scammers. They made the place look cleaner and more organized, but that is it.
They tried to sell me ALL kinds of other things I wasn’t there for. Not a place you feel comfortable at anymore.

I found this location on Unilocal while looking for a place to fix a tire that I had leaking air. It’s located in a weird area inside a little strip mall. Car drop off is in the back and along an avenue.
Service was pretty good while there. Everyone is direct and to the point. They have good prices, $ 25 for an oil change which is the usual these days. $ 10 to plug the tire which is pretty good too.
Was not a bad experience for the first time going. Would go back for other service. Would be nice if they made the waiting area a little nicer. That’s what stopped it from being 5 stars.

Great service! I have been going to the old owners for forever and realized that they were dishonest, liars, and a ripoff. These no owners are amazing, great, friendly people. It’s really hard to find a good mechanic. Well, look no further these are your guys. I let them work on my car and my food truck Mr. Pb&J. I highly suggest them!

Devonaire Service & Tire changed owners since last November. I sent my car for check up since it had an oil leak. The owner did find the place of the leak and recommended on other jobs to be done. The quote was given electronically, yay!!! they have a system to go by and best of all it will keep a history of your visits and what was the job done to your car.
New owner, they did a bit of upgrade on the place (looks better), which is good. Service is friendly and honest.

Went in with a car-​start issue. Battery tested fine, apparently. Mechanic sold me some preventatives changes to my engine totalling nearly 600 $. Most of them would have been needed eventually so I agreed, hoping they would solve my car’s problems. My car is old and well-​used so I knew certain parts were getting worn down. All replaced quickly and professionally.
Agree with other reviewers that they are a friendly and seemingly professional bunch.
Three weeks later, the problem they «fixed» returned — and after all of that — it was just a faulty battery! So something went wrong either with their battery reader or identification of the problem! So I was annoyed I’d spent a whole day and 600 $ hoping the problem would be fixed. I spent another day this week with roadside and then going to a different garage to diagnose the issue.

Okay I called 3 days ago to ask about pricing, it was good pricing but I had things to do. They were very informative on the phone too. Today I went to my main tire shop and was told to go away cause they’re busy. Being a young girl, I don’t have patience.
So I decided to drive over here. And I’m glad I did. It’s Saturday 11am and when I got here, they of course were packed and told me 2 hours. I said I would call back later to see if they were going to be good, but the man insisted he get my information. They asked for the vin and they ran to my car to go get it. They were very kind! He asked if I got pricing and I told them the prices I got, though the prices I got were wrong he actually met me close to the price and gave discount. No hassle at all, and to be honest I didn’t mind paying their regular price, because it was fair too. He actually said to take a seat, that they would put me at the top of their list and I’m at the waiting room now. They’re really cool and they speak English too. Rare in Miami. I’m liking the shop so far, they seem professional and care about cliental. He also said he would check before he aligns my car, if they are even able to do the alignment. (brother borrowed my car and of course, crashed and lied about it!) so they don’t charge me for work they can’t do.

Came here today for a tire rotation and an oil change. Was very happy with the customer service, price, and work. I’ve been to places where they’ve purportedly «rotated» my tires, but didn’t. Also happy with the fact that they filled up my tires without having to be asked. :) unfortunately, many places I have been to have made this kind of «expected» service so rare.
In addition, no one tried to sell me any unneeded services.
Will come back here again! Thanks for the good work! :)

I first read about this place here on Unilocal.I was looking around for a place to do my Honda Pilot’s oil change. I found this little place. I gave them a call, and Danny (I think is the owner) was super friendly. That was a good start. I headed over and had a little difficulty finding the place. You have to drive around the back by the dominos pizza place in the corner. I call them again and they helped me find it.
They greeted me very well, and went to work on my car almost as soon as I got there. The price for the oil change including tire rotation is 29.99 plus tax for my Big SUV. Not bad. They use Semi-​Synthetic Oil from Napa auto parts. Not a bad choice either.
The service overall was outstanding!!! I will definitely return here for my oil changes!!!

I saw an ad in the local ValPak for a complete oil change and tire rotation for $ 19.99. Nowhere could you get that deal. I called and they even had appointments for the same day. I scheduled for an 9:00 am appointment but got there early and they were able to take me immediately.
The waiting room in the front office is decent; several clean chairs, varied magazines, and nice cool A/​C. It took about 30 minutes. My Lexus was ready and it was clean-​no dirty grime on the doors, seats or floor. But what I noticed is that they filled the tires. One had a missing valve cap and they replaced it with no charge.
I would highly recommed this auto service. They are quick, clean, friendly, and efficient. Most of all you get that «comfortable neighborhood» feeling. The are honest with the services they recommend and have fair prices. Isn’t that what you want? They are unlike Jiffy Lube and Tire Kingdom that don’t offers these lows prices or try to sell you more services when you’re not sure if you need them.
I will be going back to Devonaire Service & Tire for any other auto services that I need.

Flat tire — what to do? Thankfully, I was able to make it to this auto repair shop located on Southwest 120th Street and they were able to provide a quick fix for me at a low price.
Note that the entry to the shop is a little narrow and lined with cars, working and non-​working.
