Never ever spend your money here! Bought laminate flooring from the Kendall store and the day after the installation we removed the paper painters tape the installers left on the floor and it peeled the color/​finish right off the board. Repeat — Paper painters tape peeled the finish right off the boards! This was the beginning of the nightmare. The boards on the stairs have been falling off and the finish between the boards is also coming off. We immediately called and reported the issues, followed by countless e-​mails for the past two years only to be ignored. To add insult to injury they finally sent an independent contractor out that confirmed the defective product, but mysteriously 3 weeks later after writing again to the store manager he contradicted the findings of his own people and blamed me the customer in order to absolve themselves of responsibility. This is not an isolated incident, please do not make the same mistake I did and do your due diligence. Their products are inferior and they have no customer service once they take your money! Go somewhere else, anywhere else! I will be opening an Instagram account later to showcase their quality work and products. This shady business needs to be held accountable!

Bad installation, they cut the carpet in many areas because they said they didn’t have pieces big enough but never warned us of this in advance when they came to measure. One of the rooms was small so it really didn’t make sense to not have just 1 piece of carpet but they clearly had just measured it wrong. Lots of bubbles were left in the carpet but I don’t know if this was due to the concrete floor being uneven or the carpet installation but you would’ve thought that if it was the concrete they would’ve informed us so we could’ve fixed it but now we have all of these uneven areas of the floor. Just seemed like another lazy Hialeah installation.

I want to share with anyone shopping around for flooring about my great experience at the Dolphin Carpet and Tile Store in Doral (Palmetto and 36). I got there and as soon as I got into the store I was greeted by the sales person Ivan Salazar. I explained to him what I had in mind and my budget. Fortunately I was given a crash course on flooring where I finally was able to understand what I was getting into. This was the only place (I visited 6 other flooring showrooms) that really took their time to give me a complete explanation of the product, quality, different prices, options, ideas etc.
At Dolphin Carpet and Tile I was able to find the best service, quality flooring and the most competitive pricing bar none! Two days later my floor was professionally installed and it looks amazing. No drama, no stress, these people know their business, they’ve got all the experience in the world, they have the right products and right prices, but what really blew me off, was their GREAT service. Don’t waste your time and money and go to them.

Wow. What a bunch of muppets! They were rude, abrupt and that’s b4 I spent any money. Next they wanted a 50% deposit on a job they hadnt even measured or quoted. 50% of what!!! Makes no sense what so ever. Had 5 other businesses come n quote. Polite n on time. How it is suppose to be done. These guys are obviously too big to give a shit.

We trusted Carpet & Tile as they have been in business for many years and were expecting a certain level of professionalism from the sales rep Guido Cardozo. Besides selling us a carpet that did not match the rest of our office, when we asked for the mistake to be corrected it was not handled as promptly. as a matter or fact we are still waiting for them to replace the carpet since August 6^th. Will never do business with this particular store or with Dolphin Carpet & Tile.

This is my second favorite tile store after Tiles R Us. The prices are good here and there’s plenty of choices and variety. I totally ignored the carpet section since I don’t care much for them.
The con about this place though is that if you want an installer to install your tiles, you have to buy their tiles. They won’t even sell you installation supplies without buying their tiles. I guess it may be a common practice in major tile stores across the country, but not in most tiles stores in Miami — at least not the ones I’ve checked. But then again, most references to an installer in tile stores in Miami were to independent contractors.
As for supplies, the ones at The Tile Store were still a bit cheaper, but not by much. So if you see tiles that you want here for a good price, you can get an overall good deal with this store.
