Dolphin Transport

In my opinion, based upon my experience with this company, I would avoid dealing with them. When I paid my $ 150 deposit the company representative agreed to a Friday pick-​up of my vehicle. They quoted a total fixed price of $ 850 and represented they had a transport for my vehicle and that he/​they would be in touch with me. As it turns out, this was not true. They then promised a Saturday pick-​up as though they had a trucker available to pick-​up the vehicle. This again was not true. By the time I figured this out they were unavailable to update me on what was going on, did not return calls, and all I could do was leave voicemails. Keep in mind I am waiting around thinking my vehicle is going to be picked up. I needed to get this vehicle to a family member and relied upon their representations. Their initial email said there was no cancellation fee so I cancelled by email and voicemail on Sunday and requested a refund of my deposit. I was then fortunate enough to find a reputable transport broker who made arrangements to have the car picked up on Monday and put me in direct contact with the trucker and the auto transport company. Easy! On Tuesday a belligerent Dolphin supervisor calls me to say they have a driver ready to pick up my vehicle and refused to refund my money. Times must be hard for a company to treat a customer so shabbily for $ 150! Needless to say harsh words were exchanged and I have left it to Visa to dispute the charge and get my money back.

One of the worst customer service experiences of my life. They had promised me a transport date and time. After taking my card information they immediately charged it before giving me the driver information, which is ilelgal. I would have over looked this if they gave me the driver information promptly, as they had promised. But they kept on making up excuses and lies («oh the driver just has to pull over and sign the contract and you will be all set») and kept telling me to call back in a few hours, or, in the case of the day of, «in 15 minutes.» Sure enough the time and date of the supposed pick up went by. I was livid as I had spent an unnecesary amount of time just trying to get the supposed driver’s information. Anyways, they again lied about taking the charge off my card, saying that the accountant had just walked in and that it would take a couple business days to go through. Two weeks later they say the accountant just got back from a honeymoon. So either they lied before or, more likely, they lied yet again. I have yet to get my money back, which they illegally charged, for services they never performed.
