Amazing atmosphere and classes. The people who work out there are serious about their routine and don’t take the gym too lightly(no pun intended)! There are readily available trainers. Join now if you are not already a member!

Having been a member of this club since 2008 when it was called ‘Sports Club/LA’, I can happily say the quality and standard has remained very high since then. The acquisition by Equinox did not hurt the club, and in fact gave it a modern touch in regards to the club’s décor and personality. Only negative: The club could really use a juice bar or lounge where to have a Hot Tea or snack after(for example) an afternoon workout while waiting for traffic to pass. Special mention to the high grade always friendly staff including Erica, Megan and Shanai in the front desk. Roberto in the men’s locker room and Maria Mora in member services.

Equinox, I’m back! As a former member at the Coral Gables location, I was excited to find out Equinox opened at the Four Seasons. I had never been to the SportsClub LA previously but I do know they did a lot of updating to make this feel like an Equinox. After one quick tour, I signed up! There are two studios for strength and conditioning classes, one for spinning, one for boxing, one for Pilates, and then open spaces for working out. This gym is unique as the layout is almost in a loop so rather than one open area, equipment are spaced out so it never feels too crowded. I love classes and the schedule is stacked with a variety at all times of day. With your membership comes one free private Pilates session, a free personal assessment with a trainer(after that, personal training costs a pretty penny), a discount at the spa, and a discount at the store. As with all Equinox gyms, eucalyptus cold towels are at the ready, Kiehls products are used in the bathrooms(with easy to use lockers), the staff is friendly, and a handy mobile phone app makes working out easy and fun(most of the time). Other important notes: — If you like to swim, the pool at the Four Seasons can be used for an additional fee. — Parking with validation at the Four Seasons runs $ 3. — There is no juice bar here, but a café at the hotel and, of course, EDGE.

Best gym ever! Great service, great machines, equipment, super clean. Lots of different classes for one to choose from. The spa is great as well as the showers. I wish it had daycare in order to leave my baby while I work out. Staff is very friendly and the teachers are amazing! The dance teacher Gigi and the zumba teacher Eliana are awesome!

Equinox has taken over the SportsClub LA. Very nice facility; however, needs some updating, which I’m sure Equinox will do in the coming months. Convenient location and nice to have in the neighborhood. Great class schedule, friendly and professional staff and courteous members.

The Sports Club/LA gym at the Four Seasons was recently acquired by Equinox and, as a South Florida Equinox member, I could not be happier! This gym has great views of Brickell, all the equipment you need, a steam room, sauna, locker rooms, you name it! The only thing they are lacking which I hope they will add is a fresh juice/smoothie bar. They do sell Cold Press Raw juices at the front desk and I can’t say if they are good or not but there’s no substitute for a fresh smoothie or juice before/post workout(bring the enerjuicer bar from the Merrick Equinox to this location!). Rik Rak salon is also located on the same floor as the gym and I was told that gym members get a 15% discount off of their services. Convenient! The gym seems to boast a variety of classes so I’m excited to try them out. Will definitely post an update once I try the gym out a few more times.
