Unfortunately I wanted to like this nail salon but both times I’ve come they didn’t have my name in the book when I had made my appointment 2 days prior. The first time was before I was leaving for vacation. I had set my appoint the week before for 10am. Arrived a few minutes early and doors were locked. So I waited a bit. No one arrived until about 10:15. And they were not in any rush to open and get started. I had no choice but to wait because I was leaving the day after, but I didn’t get started until 11am! This most recent visit, I made a mani/pedi appt for Wednesday at 4. I arrived and they didn’t have me down nor did they have time for me. They asked if I could do 6pm. So I returned then, and I still had to wait 40 minutes. I ended up not being able to get both mani & pedi. The salon is not very professional.

I love the work that Ada, the stylist, has done on my hair. I went last Thursday with my black dyed hair asking for color consultation. That day I walked out with a great hair cut and a plan for color change. My hair process took more that just one day, because Ada did not want to bleach and strip my hair. She took her time and the end results are phenomenal. I now have beautiful brown hair and highlights. Also, hair still looks healthy and I love the end results. From walking in to the salon, you can feel the friendly energy. The salon is very small, but who cares! If you like individual attention, then this is it. They are welcoming and not as pretentious as many hair salons. I am definitely going back this Friday to get my mani/pedi service. Another plus of this salon is the reasonable prices. I am glad a found them.

Great hidden little gem. I highly recommend them for a good mani and pedi. Very thorough and I’ve done my nails with almost all of the nail techs. It’s tiny, but clean and great prices.

Incredible and thorough mani-pedi done by Miriela! Showed up with a groupon deal in hand for a mani-spa pedi and received exceptional service from the get go. Yes, the salon is small but Mirielas meticulous attention to cuticles, calluses, and the like proved far more memorable! More limited polish selection, but this was negligible as I found my perfect shade. Have gotten many compliments since. Also, a bit hard to find as it is shielded by trees but it is directly across from storage facility on 24th and Biscayne. Look for the purple and pink adorned canopy!

This place is tiny — meaning one pedicure chair and 2 manicure stations. The mani — pedi I had was through groupon — It took about an hour which is fine for me, as I don’t like sitting there much longer. There was minimal pampering done but the staff were friendly once I was in there(I was the only client there) and it did the job. For the price, I would certainly recommend this place for a mani-pedi without the frills.

not to be mean but nothing like the websites or previous reviews claim– not cute, not clean– they cancelled my appt– i bought a groupon for a massage and paraffin foot massage– they didn’t do the paraffin; staff was nice enough but loud during the massage and this place is in no way luxurious– definitely not worth the money i spent even though it was with a groupon– go to bin 18 around the corner if you wanna kill some time and have a great meal instead

I made an appointment to use my groupon for Christmas Eve morning in order to be glam for my festivities. My appointment was for 11am, and the day before they called me to confirm my appointment and ask if I would be able to come about 20 minutes earlier. Although this would mean I would have to rush over, I was happy because I had a full day planned and would get a head start. Well I arrive at 10:38am, and was surprised to see the lock still on the door. Thinking that perhaps I was too early, I decided to get a cup of coffee across the street. By the time I return, still no sign of anyone. I knocked on the door and called the phone number, but no answer to either one. I decided to sit on the side of the road(not what I had in mind for a relaxing morning), and just waited. I called a few more times, and by 11:15am I figured I’d better start looking for another place to do my nails if I wanted to look nice for my party tonight and accomplish all of my errands. It is now about 1ep in the afternoon, and no one has returned my calls to explain what happened. I unfortunately can’t comment about the place, cleanliness, or technique since I never made it inside. I can tell you however, that they completely threw off my day, and am now stuck going to the first place that takes walk-ins. I plan to call groupon for a refund if I don’t hear back from them.

Really cute, clean, small hole in the wall. This is my new hidden gem of a nail salon! Yes, as Dana D mentioned, it’s small but that surely didn’t effect my star rating and shouldn’t for you either! They accommodated me same day for a Saturday appointment and I was quickly charmed by their cute décor, fuchsia painted walls, decorative pillows, and sweet attitudes. There was also a large TV mounted on wall playing Devil Wears Prada to keep me occupied. My mani/pedi went over great and lasted a full 1.5 hours with brief massage and dry time. Pedi is in wash basin but chairs are comfy. The tools are sterilized, in packaging, and I watched them diligently disinfect a station before welcoming a new customer. The only color line they have is ESSIE and did have the awesome new fall/winter line which I was hoping for. They also offer massages in a small room in the back as well as hard wax and strip waxing for very reasonable prices. I used a Groupon mani/pedi and will absolutely be a full fare paying customer in the near future. At only $ 34 for mani/pedi special AND a tried and true experience, I’ll be back soon!

This place needs a boost of a rating. Look, it is tiny. Like 2 people can get a mani-pedi at a time tiny. Like 1 person can get a massage at a time tiny. But don’t let that deter you, make your appointment and you should be pleased. I came here with a groupon for a manicure and pedicure for $ 17. I asked the employees how the groupons were working for them, and she told me that they sold 1,300 groupons in a day. The spa hadn’t expected that, so naturally, they were extremely booked the first couple of months. Despite that, I was able to book an appointment with ease, and they called me a day in advance to confirm the appointment which demonstrates professionalism. The have a sterilizing machine, and you watch the lady open the package of cuticle cutters, etc. Not only was that a nice thing to see, I watched them spray down the entire table next to me after a client left. This place is cleaner than Adrian Monk. They don’t have a lot of colors, but they do use Esse, and they have the new fall collection. The manicurist really takes her time. Longest mani/pedi I’ve ever had, most women would appreciate that. I’d go again if it wasn’t out of my way.

I came here because I had purchased a voucher for a mani/pedi for $ 17 but regularly they go for $ 34. Had the appointment set for 10:30 am, arrived at 10:20 am(surprising for me. as I am always 15 min late) but the lock was still at the door and nobody was in sight. I decided to wait at least 15 min past my actual time, given my personal faults. :) Finally at 10:40 somebody arrived to open the door and let me in. She right away apologized and from that moment on was very nice and attentive towards me(Lilliana).(1st +) The place is simple yet clean and well organized. They seem to sterilize their equipment, except the fact that they do re-use the nail files. Maybe something that they should change. They use Essie colors, which I love(2nd +). For the pedicure they use little basins where they can recycle the inner sleeve for each customer(I hope they do). The mani/pedi took well over 1 hour and I felt very relaxed. When was the last time you watched the movie My Best Friends Wedding, with Julia Roberts? Well, it had been a while for me too, but I was totally immersed in it while getting pampered. Nice touch to have it playing in the background. I liked that(3rd +) I will definitively consider this a back up plan for future nail appointments. Little suggestion: do not use the eucalyptus lotion on your hands. I personally do not like that fresh/cool feeling on my hands. You might want to ask them beforehand.

Friendliest staff this side of Biscayne… the owners seem to really take pride in what they do and it shows. I can’t speak for the other services, but had a very pleasant mani/pedi experience. Great manicuring and paint skills… and everything is clean, clean, clean! Also loving the reasonable prices and complimentary vino!

Great Place: staff is wonderful, great service, good price, and nice atmosphere. Evanesce is very cute. The staff is wonderful. I was treated like I have been coming there for years. They offer refreshments while you wait. Their prices are very reasonable. On my first visit I got a mani/pedi and eyebrow wax. It has been a week and my regular manicure still looks good. I am extremely satisfied, highly recommend it, and look forward to coming back!!!
