Former Judge Juan Ramirez, Jr. started his mediation and arbitration practice after 24 years as a trial and appellate judge, to join JAMS. In 2013, he formed his own firm, ADR Miami LLC and added consultations to his mediation and arbitration practice. He performs these services through his LLC and is also a partner at Diaz Reus & Targ LLP with offices at the Miami Tower, Suite 3400, 100 SE 2^nd Street.

Business Owner

Former Judge Juan Ramirez, Jr. was initially appointed to the bench in 1988. He served for 12 years as a trial judge and 12 years as an appellate judge in the Third District Court of Appeal, serving as its chief from 2009 to 2011. He retired in 2012 to join JAMS, a national ADR firm and in 2013, left to form his own ADR firm, ADR Miami LLC, doing mediations and arbitrations. Former Judge Ramirez is also willing to serve as co-​counsel or consultant to other lawyers for trial and appellate issues.
