If only i had unlimited amount of money to spend here. thats how much i like the bags and things in Henri Bendel. This store is BEAUTIFUL! they have nice bags, great accessories and little things here and there that i really liked. What i love most about this store is that its different than the typical MK, Coach that everyone in Miami is seen in! and the store is nothing like the one in NY but still very nice! Girls working at the store were very nice too which is always a plus! No snobiness here!

So I live in Kendall, which is about as suburban as it gets. «Mom» jeans are typical fashion here, unless it’s a mom trying to be cool by showing us her muffin top. As a rule, then, fashion is not forward and choices are limited. My mall of convenience is Dadeland. It’s not too bad for a mall rat of the 80’s. The stores I want are there, Nine West, Nordstrom, and yes, Spencer Gifts. However, Henri Bendel takes my shopping to a whole new level of chic! Henri Bendel is a series of stores started in NYC in which local NYC fashion designers could find a home to showcase their own innovations in accessories. Now mainstreamed into a chain, Henri Bendel has developed a very trendy and classy look all its own, and it’s totally worth it to stop and look into this location. Of current note are the beautiful handbags featuring textured leather designs and great chain handles. Look out, Tori Burch, this is where fashion is really at, oh, and Coco Chanel? Yeah, your stuff might be classic, but these bags are ones I’ll actually want to wear because I don’t want to look like my grandmother. Also, check out The Harry Collection of bangle bracelets; it’s like a candy bar for my wrists! So many choices! Prices are not cheap; somewhere around Coach, but not as high as Louis. The products are beautiful but it’s my guess that some will not outlive their trendiness to justify the costs. However, Henri Bendel in Dadeland is totally worth the stop in; I’m sure you’ll find something you can’t live without.
