I’m going to start off by saying this USED to be my favorite breakfast place. In the past year or two this place has gone completely downhill. What was once one of my favorite all time meals-chicken salad on everything bagel– now disgusts me. After ordering this meal a few weeks ago, I was very disappointed with the quality and service. The chubby lady at the front counter was extremely rude to my friend and I while we were ordering our meals AND gave us attitude when we were confused on which order was ours to pick up(there was no direction nor information on who’s order was whose). I’ve been a consistent customer for years and was quite disappointed. The quality of the chicken salad was poor and the bagel wasn’t toasted although I clearly stated I wanted it toasted. I decided to give this place one more go today and I was once again disappointed. They forgot the pickle and gave me a small piece of onion and soggy lettuce. Honestly just poor quality and little customer care. You’d expect much better from a local small business. I will be taking my business somewhere else from now on and I recommend the same to you.

Yes, 1 lonely star and it’s because of the bitter staff, not one, but all of them. Not even a hello. I asked where the napkins were and I’m still waiting for the response. The food was fast food deli, not bad for what it was, but I am NOT ever going back. Sorry I betrayed my regular delicious and friendly NY bagel spot down the block.

I would not call this the best bagel place in town but it’s certainly not the worst. The staff is ok and the bagels and egg sandwiches are fresh and tasty. The coffee could be better. It’s not always piping hot and the only creamer they have is those little liquid creamer packets that are not really that good.

The only reason why I give this two stars and not 1 is because I didn’t try anything else, I just had a bagel with plain cream cheese. Im from Jersey and these bagels aren’t even close. They use an off brand and not Philadelphia cream cheese. It didn’t taste awful but when you’re paying almost 3 dollars for a bagel you should at least get philly. The bagel is skinny and it wasn’t that fresh because it would crumble apart, it should pull apart like dough but have a crunch on the outside. It was edible but I could only eat half, definitely not going back here. Einstein’s is twice as good. I was thinking about getting a sandwich too for later until I saw that they were $ 10 before tax. With a drink would be over $ 13 for lunch.

Best bagel shop in town; phone in your order to pickup to avoid the long lines on weekends. Howie, the owner, is very friendly and determined to make your experience a positive one!

We were regulars here only because the food and value was great. Unfortunately their wait time is long. Their staff is in efficient and rude. They get the order wrong on a regular basis. If you are looking to buy cream cheese and leave then it may be worth it. The only way I will be back is if they replace their staff with competent and customer friendly people. If you value good service stay away from here.

Went there for breakfast today. Not impressed — small location. I thought the place had to be good based on the long line. I ordered the corned beef hash. Very salty and they used real corned beef. It was pretty salty and potatoes were under cooked. I ordered the everything bagel very well toasted with butter and cream cheese. When we finally got the order, my husband asked for the cream cheese and the counter person was very rude… The service sucks and the food is a 1 star quality — you get better food at offerdahls, Walters, and Cracker Barrel. This place is not quality! They didn’t even give us a cup for regular water, they said we had to buy bottled water. And I guess when the regular customers came in. They offered a free cup of water! Never returning …

The bagels and breakfast sandwiches are delicious. The best thing about this place is the customer service. They really know how to treat customers and if there is ever an error they always make things right. Highly recommended!

I came to b&b for a quick and casual breakfast. It’s a small deli-style shop with a selection of bagels, sandwiches, omelette, and cold chicken and tuna salads. They also sell bagel chips and rugelach for those who are familiar with Jewish desserts. I ordered a western omelette with a cinnamon raisin bagel. The omelette was delicious! It had green pepper, ham and onion. Look, I’m not a bagel connoisseur, like I’m used to buying bagels at publix and sticking them in the toaster and calling it a day. The bagel was good but I guess I was expecting it to blow me away. I guess I was expecting to have a tv commercial-like bagel moment and I didn’t. So whatever. We tried the tuna salad and it was spectacular!!! We ate it with the bagel crisps. Then we ordered some chocolate rugelach and they were delicious!!! I’m definitely coming back if in the area. They also had great service. Very friendly staff.

BAGELS are not enough. you need the eggs to be seasoned, potatoes to be fresh(and not have that brownish tint that indicates I am leftovers and was microwaved for you) The breakfast deal would be great if everything on the plate tasted good. The bagel was the only thing that worked! Service was lacking and the restaurant could use a good cleaning. The coffee area and the display cases need attention. I was disappointed; my guest was disappointed. Bagels are not enough!

Need to update my review. The bagels are still great maybe best made and best tasting in Miami. But service not so much. Counter help just does not have a clue or doesn’t want to get a clue. The nova and lox are no longer sliced to order. The sides like egg salad, nova cream cheese, tuna are all pre packed. Counter staff has no personality. What was once a great place to rap with the counter man is now a get your order and get out place. Sad.

These are the best bagels I’ve ever had, easy. This place is great. I’ve come two days in a row. I will absolutely be back more. I had the chive and cream cheese on an everything bagel and a lot on an onion. Both were excellent. The French bakery next door is nice but you can’t beat the taste at an authentic Jewish deli.

I love coming back home to Miami and getting a little taste of authentic NYC. Weird, right? House of Bagels is official like a whistle. These are BAGELS. Like REAL bagels. Not frisbee bagels, not gummy bagels… PURE T NEWYORKCITYBAGELS! I live and love. Miami doesn’t do many things right, but they sold me on this small hole in the wall. Their bagels are made fresh every day, which is lovely. If you’re looking for something a little more classier, go next door to the French spot where the line was lingering out the door. There’s outside seating in the front of the store, but again… nothing fancy. Chances are you’d probably be sharing your bagel with the massive amount of pigeons lingering around the parking lot. Brace yourself, those things are feisty!

In the Kings Bay plaza with the Sushi Maki, McDonalds and Pinch a Penny. Directly next to a French Bakery called Delices de France. Rich folks flock here in their luxury vehicles. They also think its okay to bring their food from the bakery or McDonalds and take up the few tables B&B has outside. Not cool. But I’m sure that whatever planet they come from they get away with all kinds of stuff. Back to B&B… Several bagels to choose from. 4 cream cheeses(plain, chive, lox & somethinfg else) but nothing sweet to pair with a sweet bagel like Cinnamon Raisin or Chocolate Chip. The usual rugelach, sandwiches and canned beverages. On the plus side they have 4 self serve coffees including Hazelnut and Vanilla. Though when I asked the cashier to please fill my cup with ice she was a little annoyed.(Understandably because she had to walk all the way into the kitchen to get it. How was I supposed to know that?) While ordering, I got a lot of «what??“s and«huh?“s from her but not a single smile or thank you. And being that it was my first time here I would’ve appreciated a few questions to get me going in the right direction. Example: I ask for a Chocolate chip. She should ask«would you like that toasted?» «Would you like cream cheese with that?» Nah… I had to ask and somehow it threw her off. Oh well. Next time I’ll order like a pro. Missing a star because although I just brush off rude service I can’t give them a star for it. I know some folks would be bothered by it. And on another day, I guess I would be too. I guess I’ll see you on another weekend B&B. Chocolate Chip was too good to pass up.

Ill keep it short and sweet. Simply delicious bialys and bagels! Today I had the most delicious egg white scramble with ham and cheese ever! Great prices and judging by the sheer number of people that were there when we went its a local favorite.

Confession time. Yep, I’m the one who ignores the signs and tosses noms to the birds. I think of it as a nostalgia trip back to Central Park with a big bag of peanuts and an ever enlarging circle of coveting,(and usually arm covering) pigeons. Sooooooo when the Condor swoops down and wrests away your bagel.* I own it; I take the blame; allll my fault.** That said, House of Bagels is a most favorite place for breakfast, and I frequently grab a friend and enjoy their $ 6.99 breakfast special which comes with eggs, bacon or potatoes, lettuce, onion, tomato, capers, and a bagel, cream cheese and a beverage and is more than filling and good value. Their pastrami sammich rivals that of a another popular Pinecrest deli and comes in at half the price. Also, no screaming bullying owner sessions, Their whitefish salad/chicken salad is superb, fresh, yummy. Good coffee, good pastries like ruggelach and croissants… in fact, I’ve never even been in the French bakery next door as I always get waylaid . The owner is always positive and up for a few conversational minutes and even one of the employees who I had noticed was a sometimes a bit stern and touchy now is a pussycat. All in all, It’s just a pleasant little neighborhood place. I actually pass three other delis to get to it and that’s juuust fine. * The condor knows where I live, flies over and drops your bagel here. Got that worked out, yes? ** Please order garlic(lightly toasted) with a smear of chive cheese for just such occurrences.

Got a half dozen bagels to go. They weren’t bad though a bit small. I like big NY style bagels but if you are in the area, I think this is the only bagel place nearby.

Dear House of Bagels & Bialys, On a day when we couldn’t decide what to eat or where, we decided to just get in the car. You’re located in a plaza that is basically in walking distance from our house. So we decided to check you out. You’re next to a French Bakery, so it’s perfect, I pick up a coffee from them and my bagel & egg salad from you. The food here is really fresh. From salads to bagels to even sandwiches, I was surprised at the variety. I want to say you’re a Jewish deli, but that’s just the feeling I get. I cannot confirm that with any facts. The inside of your place is rather small, but there is counter space with stools and there are tables and chairs outside. Your sandwiches are stacked sky high, reminding me of delis in NYC. Overall a great place to eat at a reasonable price. Service is quick and on point. Good stuff, SabrinaAnna*

I wish they had more of a variety of bagels, like Cinnamon sugar! :) Overall very good and fresh. Love their chives cream cheese.
