Came in for the patriots playoff game the waiter was good kept our beers going. The prices for the beer buckets were good and the fried pickles, wings and fries were good. The sauces were really good! Only draw back which is no biggie is the cell phone reception, I had to step outside to message or browse on a iPhone 6 Plus. But again I shy away from using my phone when I’m out and about its kinda rude to be on it with your friends/family members but yea if you really need to use it step outside to get signal.

Stay the f away. They don’t sell«wings». It’s tiny chicken poppers that they pass as wings. Our order came out 99% wrong hilariously so

IDK why this place has such bad reviews? It’s cute nice music nice employees and actually for bar food better than most. I ordered the Firecracker Shrimp Tacos. Deep fried spicy shrimp over a ginger slaw… Better than most bar food places. And my service is really nice starting from the hostess. So if you haven’t already give this place a try!

The place was empty and there’s probably a reason why! They were out of almost all the items that we tried to order. They were even out of some of the drinks. When we ask them for more firecracker sauce which is their specialty they were also out of that too. Server was new and he was nice but the restaurant looks like it’s about to close. Management needs to take matters into hands. We had been coming to this place multiple times before and had had no issues. My wife order the pulled pork sliders, and they were dry with not enough sauce and the pork was actually tough.

First it was empty, so I should’ve know better to even go in. Service was horrible, asked the server for a soup before my entrée. Soup came out 20 mins later after I asked for it n she said it’ll be out soon just waiting for one more order of tacos. It was suppose to be out before the tacos(entrée). When soup finally came out, it was cold! Soup was sitting in the window for god knows how long. Server actually came up to table and said«just want to let you know soup wasn’t sitting at the window» really? Lol yeah right! Food wasn’t even worth waiting for, it was disgusting. To bad I have to give at least one star.

This location should change its name to «Hurricane Katrina» because the staff and the service will leave you left for dead! Me and my girls stopped in for a «quick» bite on our way to Art Basel. It took over 10 minutes(and for us to wave our SOS flags) for someone to acknowledge us and bring the menus. Our server was new so she wasn’t very knowledgeable(which is understandable) but she was also very unprofessional(which is unacceptable). We waited another 10 minutes to get our drinks. It took ANOTHER20+ minutes to get ONE plate of food. Everyone’s food orders(and drinks) were served within 10 or more minutes apart, and they weren’t always complete. We had to share plates to subdue our hunger. We felt like refugees waiting for the planes to drop a load of goods so we can eat enough to survive until the next drop! To make matters worse, we ordered HOT wings and got chilly wings instead–«chilly» as in COLD. Our server offered to «microwave» the food. Micro-what? Bye Felicia! One of my girl’s never got her order. Another waitress informed us that our server deleted the order in error. Our server never admitted to her mistake or apologized. After speaking to the manager, we were only charged half-price for that one order– which was cool, but it still didn’t make up for all the time we wasted waiting. On our way to the bathroom a few customers who were leaving WARNED us not to eat there and that if we did we should«prepare to wait or not even get served». Too late for that!!! And speaking of the restroom, that situation wasn’t good either. There’s only one toilet per bathroom and the men’s restroom was locked! We stood in line squirming, practically doing the Chicken Dance, trying not to pee on ourselves. A male patron asked three different employees if they had a key for the men’s restroom– they all said no and none of them, INCLUDING the manager, made an effort to try to find the key. The man wound up using the women’s restroom. Just like Katrina, this restaurant will go down in history for causing one of THEE worst experiences in someone’s life. Hurricane needs to get it together or just blow itself away!

Great place! Perfect to grab a quick bite and have a drink. The staff was very friendly and our server was great! The food was good and came out really fast! The only reason I won’t give this place a 5 star is just because of the fact that they charge you for sauces! I didn’t mind paying the 1.00 dollar extra but they should let their costumers know!

This is pretty much the only«sports bar» in midtown — so it makes it hard to pick over others. They have a great amount of TVs and always happy to put on whatever game we ask for which is really nice. Love the variety of wing types — so many to pick from. Usually I go with something fire hot and some sort of bbq. Staff is friendly and service matches. Wish they would consider getting some better specials. Parking can be a mission but it’s midtown so ending up in the over priced parking lot happens from time to time.

I same here to celebrate a friend’s birthday on a Friday night. While there are several locations, we came to the one in midtown. This is the kind of restaurant that has something for everyone, and in that sense can be compared to a TGIF or Chili’s. Hurricane offers steak, seafood, tacos, chicken, burgers, and a significant number of sides. They also offer specialty drinks like margaritas and sangria, as well as pitchers of beer. This is the kind of place you go to when your group can’t decide, because they have enough in every category that your friends will find something that appeals to them. With that, my group of four ordered a pitcher of red wine house made sangria to share. Splitting it, it cost about $ 7/person. We each ordered our own entrees. Personally, I loved the firecracker shrimp tacos because they were spicy and salty. I ordered onion rings as my side dish and they came with a creamy spicy sauce similar to a chipotle dressing. I put this dressing on the shrimp, and together the flavors were outstanding. I don’t know if it would have been as good without the additional dressing, but I encouraged my friends to ask for it. It complimented the shrimp perfectly, which were already a smothered in garlic, ginger, and sesame flavors. Hurricane Grill and Wings doesn’t have to be an expensive meal, but it can be if you want it to be. Either way, it was a fun experience and I thoroughly enjoyed the mix of flavors presented with my entrée. The only reason I can’t give it five stars is because the service was mediocre. However, I would come back because of the food and the location.

We decided to try this place out since we were in the midtown area, it was a terrible idea. When we arrived we had to look for the hostess so that she could seat us. Once we were sat, it took 15minutes to have someone bring us water. I would understand the waiting if they were busy but they weren’t. We placed our order and it took forever! We even decided we were gonna leave until the hostess walked by and asked us if we were still waiting for our food. The food finally came, the order was wrong and at that point I didn’t even want to ask for anything different because who knows how long that would’ve taken. Also, the busser working there was extremely rude! I asked her what the drink specials were and she said«isn’t there someone else who is helping you?» Do not go to this establishment. Terrible!

This place has become a NIGHTMARE. A few years back I was dining here once a week. Since it first opened I witnessed the quality and service disappear. This establishment has become an embarrassment. We tried to order pick up only to arrive and be told they forgot to enter our order. We proceed to sit down when a waiter drops his tray of drink on my leg, without even an apology. To make things worse we sit and our table was all sticky and the AC was dripping on my back. I will NEVER return to this location.

I visited this location on Sunday, and although I was aware of all the bad reviews, I ate here anyway for one simple reason: I got absolutely SOAKED in a flash downpour and Hurricane was the only location at Midtown with dry outdoor seating. Due to my wet condition, eating inside of an air conditioned restaurant was a no-go. So, one star for the dry outdoor seating. A server brought menus right away and we ordered a 6 piece wings with«fire and ice» sauce, along with an order of the grouper tacos. Tacos came with one side and we picked the ginger slaw. While waiting for the food, we took a look at the hangover, I mean the drink menu. If I didn’t have an afternoon of manual labor ahead of me, some of the options looked tempting! What wasn’t tempting was the level of filth on the menu though. GROSS! After flipping through, I went to the rest room to wash my hands. Larry S. also visited the restroom and reported that the men’s room wasn’t clean. We had time to discuss the cleanliness of the restrooms and the menus at length because the food took forever to arrive. When it finally arrived, we found the offerings mixed. The wings(I didn’t partake — meat on a bone, PASS!) were more like sparrow wings than chicken wings and Larry said the sauce wasn’t all that spicy. The tacos, however were delicious! Really flavorful, with plenty of lightly fried grouper. The slaw was our favorite part; it was too bad that it was about a two-bite portion. One star for the tacos and slaw. While we were waiting for the check, we had the pleasure of being harassed by a homeless woman, who then got into an argument with the gentleman at the next table who had given her a dollar. All in all, not a place I’d visit again anytime soon.

I’ll be frank; don’t eat here. In the hour we’ve sat at a table, we have spoken with three different waiters who have asked us, more than once, to repeat our orders. And we’ve only received one cup of water(no refills) and an appetizer. Save your time and money.

Never did I think I would give one star to any restaurant. I am sorry to say this, but after coming here countless times and experiencing the same issues I had no choice. I’ve dined with my husband, friends, family and they always have the worst experience. Tonight I came on a double date and again, bad bad service. We were told to sit anywhere yet we have to wait a long time for just tap water. We just finished dining and the poor hostess has to clean the tables that have been left unclean next to us during the course of our meal while other servers are walking around playing and screaming at each other. Our server forgot to add something we ordered, told us it was going to be complimentary, and then we get charged and told that«the manager told her to charge it». Cmon. What kind or service is that? The manager obviously does not care. The time before last, we had a similar experience… someone told us to sit outside, we did not get a server(with an attitude) for 20 minutes. To then, throw menus to our table and walk away from us. We should have probably stopped coming that time. This place, the management and staff needs to get it together. We will most likely never come back or recommend.

Service was probably ok for a chicken wing place, which is to say, after waiting at the first outside table by the entrance for a few minutes, I had to walk inside and ask the bartender for help, a few minutes later she looked at me and I gave her the«nope, not yet» shrug, and finally someone came out and got us drinks… Another wait before someone else came out and took our order. The wings were ok(I ordered hot buffalo sauce), but a little too salty for my taste and my date loved her kids quesadillas and apple sauce((she IS6!). Getting a refill on My diet coke took another call to the bartender… Ok, maybe service was less than ok… One good thing… Kids eat free, so it’s hard for me to walk out angry, but I likely wouldn’t come back…

I enjoy this place. Nothing special or out of the ordinary american bar… But good enough on their wings for me to come back when I’m around and with hunger for some alitas. One of the things I like the best, is the whole menu of flavors and sauces you get to choose from, divided by seasonings and by hotness! My favorite one«Coco Loco»… You can split your wings into two different flavors if you like the idea of mixing things up… I do. For the establishment… Please please please… Work on your timing… Food takes wayyy to long. That’s what brought my review from 4 to 3 stars. Enjoy!

Horrible Food… Horrible Service… If there was an option to choose 0 stars I would. Unfortunately, I have to pick 1 to wrire a review. The food sucks and the service is even worse. Our napkin holder was broken, no pepper at the table, I asked for Splenda they only brought sugar. The server just simply said we ran out. No apology whatsoever! My boyfriend had to ask for his refill of soda 3 times, once again no apology. We asked for the check and that came quick. Super disorganized! Where the heck is the manager! First and last time we come here!

I just remembered why it had been 4 years since I last ate here. That’s why I’m emphasizing and downgrading them to one star. After quick shopping in Midtown, and finding something spicy, I decided to stop by Hurricane Grll. Bad choice, as it was easily 10 minutes before I was even offered a menu. My order was simple: soda, 10 piece boneless wings and fries. While the Buffalo sauce was seasoned into half of them, the raspberry vinaigrette tasted like either regular sweet BBQ or teriyaki. However, I’d have to wait close to 40 minutes to find out. Oh, and when I wanted a soda refill and my bill to exit quickly, I asked another waitress since my original server was behind the bar. Said Waitress Promptly stated she wasn’t my server. Customer service win! Said boneless wings were about the size of the chicken nuggets from a fast food for almost twice the price as well, and weren’t that juicy. I guess it will be another four years if I go back. Here’s hoping for a better sports bar opens in Midtown soon!
