Our South Miami dental office has over three doctors on site with over 60 years of combined experience. Our services range from complex full mouth rehabilitation to Invisalign to veneers. Our staffs’ eagerness to please, their professionalism and our commitment to a strong code of ethics are unmatched in Miami. Business Owner

Dr. Jonathan Cook obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University, College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Cook was the only graduating senior awarded the Southern Academy of Prosthodontics Award, for demonstrating an outstanding ability in the area of Prosthodontics. In addition, he was also the only graduating senior awarded the American Academy of Implant Dentistry Award, for his accomplishments clinically and academically, in implant dentistry. Upon graduation, Dr. Cook was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Society, for demonstrating high scholarship and character. He has Invisalign Certification, is a member of the Florida Dental Association, South Florida District Dental Association and Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.

Dr. Cook was magnificent. He was so gentle, caring and great working on my teeth. I did not even feel the initial injections. His staff was just as great. What a team! I highly recommend them. Truely a class act in every way.

Dr. Cook is incredible and I would (and have) recommend him to anyone. He did my veneers and I am in LOVE. So much so that my mom got hers done too. He listened to exactly what I wanted, recommended the best solution and I could NOT be happier. He made sure they were exactly what I wanted and I was happy. I look in the mirror and am so thankful I chose him. Completely satisfied would be an understatement! The staff was genuine, professional, and extremely knowledgable. I highly recommend this team and I will never see another dentist for as long as I live in Miami.

After going to my previous dentist for 4 years, I had to switch because of my new job’s insurance. The doctor used the Diagnodent and told me I had FOUR cavities. I called my old dentist and he told me that these are tiny damaged areas but that in 4 years they haven’t progressed, and that it’s best to continue monitoring them without doing any fillings.
Some dentists say they practice «preventative» medicine by filling every little hole, but this is not the best thing for the patient! Most of these will heal themselves eventually if you have good oral hygiene. I find it very suspect when a new dentist tries to get you to fill absolutely everything. It seems as if they’re trying to generate revenue to pay for their expensive new diagnostic lasers. Definitely not returning to this practice.

I have been a patient for the last year. While He is an AMAZING dentist and has great hygienists, the ladies at the front desk leave A LOT to be desired. First, I received a bill in error for a month I hadn’t been serviced. I called and said I received it in error. They continued to email and call my parents, 25 so I still get to drain their insurance (yay for me!) I never received an apology just a notice that it was time to come in for another cleaning. I went did a cleaning and did the mold for the whitening trays. I called a week later to follow up & was told I’d be called back. Nothing for three weeks. I called again and was told I would receive a call by end of day. At 4:45pm I called them, told another call back. Called the next day to be told there was an issue with the trays and I needed to redo them. I waited literally a MONTH for that. Jennifer was not apologetic for what was clearly a mistake, ONCE AGAIN, on their part. She was nonchalant like it was my issue not theirs which is why unfortunately I am now on the hunt for a new dentist. Customer service makes all the difference in the world.

Every being in that office is a delight to encounter and Dr. Cook is not only a hottie but also very personable, knowledgeable and just a professional man. I’m one of few people who has always just really love going to the dentist and this office is the major factor of that.

I agree with Michelle M. the front desk ladies are a mess and have messed up my appointments also. They just want to sell, sell, sell, and even add a charge for the dentist to see you after the cleaning.
I have been going to this place for 4 years and NEVER got the FREE whitening that they gave to TODD D. in the other review but I am sure going to ask for it the next time, if I ever go back after finding out I have not been getting the same treatment as other patients.
That is really not nice to show special treatment to certain patients. I have spent thousands of dollars at this office. Very disappointing.

These can’t be real reviews. The front desk ladies are a mess. They can barely communicate and they messed up two of my appts. Dr Cook only wants to sell, sell, sell. what happened to the dentists that wanted what was best for the patient and not the doctors pocket.

John Cook is the best dentist in Miami and his business (Illustradent) reflects that. The staff is professional and nice (qualties you won’t often find in Miami), not to mention attractive, and their work is second to none. Dr. Cook always makes sure to come in at the end and put a smile on my face (literally and figuratively). Overall, it’s a great place to go and he’s a great dentist.
Also, they give you free whitening treatment if you keep your regularly scheduled checkups (every 6 months), which is pretty cool since other places can charge upwards of $ 200 extra for professional whitening.
Here’s a good story about how helpful Dr. Cook can be. When a friend of mine had his two front teeth knocked out in a basketball game and was walking around looking like a Miami hillbilly, we called Dr. Cook who told him exactly what to do. The next morning, Dr. Cook had 2 pearly white crowns in there and he looked good as new. Actually, he looked better than he did before. The boys down at the local truck stop weren’t happy, but my friend sure was.
