About Gustavo M. Banti, MD:

Dr. Gustavo M. Banti is a board –certified urologist who obtained his medical degree from the Universidad de Buenos Aires Medical School. He then moved to Chicago, Illinois to complete his general surgical residency at the University of Illinois and his residency training in urology at Cook County Hospital, where he became Chief Resident of Urology.

Originally from Buenos Aires, Dr. Banti has resided in the United States since 1977. He is a skilled urology surgeon with experience in treating men, women and children. Dr. Banti is passionate about his specialty and understands there are circumstances which are very difficult for patients to discuss openly. He believes in making his patients feel comfortable when discussing these conditions impacting their sexual health and wellbeing.

Dr. Banti is trained and experienced in robotic-​assisted, laparoscopic and open surgeries for the treatment of adrenal, kidney, ureteral, prostate, bladder, penile and testicular conditions, as well as all other urological-​related issues. In many cases, Dr. Banti is able to treat these conditions using daVinci® Surgical System. Its enhanced hi-​definition 3D vision provides optimal visual clarity and can offer patients a quicker post-​operative recovery.
