History

Established in 1994.

Miami landscape designer Brent Knoll began his professional landscape design career in 1994. He was formerly a personal trainer, and after a client requested him to plant flowers for her, he began landscaping for his other personal training clients. As he learned to work with the soil, climate, and flora of South Florida, his Nebraska farm upbringing took over, and he unleashed his natural inner gardener. He has been designing exquisite and delicious gardens ever since, has become an avid organic gardener, soil builder, lecturer, and community garden host. He enjoys his work immensely, and is thrilled to continue serving the Miami area in the future.

Meet the Business Owner

Brent K.

Business Owner

Brent Knoll grew up one of six children on the rolling fertile plains of Nebraska. His family grew and raised much of their own food in a natural and organic way long before it was trendy. He learned a strong work ethic from both his parents and the importance of community growing up in a large family and in a tight-knit country neighborhood. He moved to Miami in 1990 to pursue his college degree in fashion design, but quickly shifted his focus to the health industry as a personal trainer, yoga instructor, and masseur. Little did he know, his good olé farming upbringing was still surging beneath his skin and would surface when he was requested to plant flowers for a personal training client. Over 20 years, he has become a unique and visionary landscape designer, focusing on wildlife preservation, organic gardening, healing elements of the garden, and embracing the true wonder and divine beauty of the natural world in his designs. Brent is passionate and truly loves what he does!
