My wife and I just moved to Miami and brought nothing but our clothes and car with us so we needed to furnish an entire two bedroom condo. We were taken to Kom by a local designer we hired and I have to tell you the experience has just been incredible. The manager Maria might just be the sweetest person on earth and she was amazingly helpful to us. We’ve been back and forth to the store at least 10 times picking out pieces and then switching out ones that didn’t fit or just weren’t right. Maria organized all of our deliveries and even let us bring back pieces we’ve had for weeks with no questions asked. Kom has amazing furnishings of virtually every kind you can imagine. Alot of the artwork is original and one off. I cant complain about the prices but its more of a high end store, and thats the look we were shooting for, but I didn’t think anything was overpriced like the previous reviewer stated. If you want to shop online go ahead but if you want a two story building full of hundreds of pieces of furniture, artwork, furnishings and everything else you can imagine then this is the place for you. Everything they have is amazing and you will not get better customer service anywhere. Maria will organize everything for you. I recommend Kom 1000% and our condo looks like it belongs in a magazine. We are so pleased and cannot thank Maria enough.

I found a piece of furniture in this store for much cheaper on the internet and they were kind enough to match the price, so I figured I would keep my business local. When they delivered the piece, a lacquered dresser, I was on a pretty important call and was a little distracted. I looked at it and it looked fine and they had me confirm that everything was ok. I ended the call and took a rag to clean off all this white stuff that was on there from the transportation. As I began to go over the piece, I noticed that one of the edges near the bottom had a chip about 1 inch long on it. I immediately called the sales lady at the store and told her. In all, maybe 15 minutes had passed since I received the piece, give or take. Honestly, it wasn’t that big of a deal to me, I didn’t even really want anything, I just wanted to point it out to them and see what they’d say. She asked me to send her a photo, which I did immediately. I got a response from her saying she spoke to the owner and that their policy is clear that they can do nothing since I didn’t catch the damage to the piece they sent me immediately. That I can understand, because technically I didn’t do everything perfectly. But then she finished the email by insinuating that I did the damage. And that insult I do not forgive. I would never do business with these people. You can find everything they offer in this store for much cheaper on the internet. I’d strongly recommend you do so or find another place to buy your furniture, or you might end up like me, really doing nothing wrong, and not only being denied assistance to make things right, but being accused of something you’d clearly never do.
