When you walk in the door, you see quaint, yet elegant little square tables with large, silver, flower-shaped place mats in the middle of each table. Containers of chile are mounted on glass sticks, and the place is well lit. I ordered snapper filet & a shrimp cocktail. All entrees come with a choice of white rice or gallo pinto(beans mixed with rice), cabbage salad or lettuce salad, and maduros(fried, ripe plantains) or tortillas. Everything was flavored with lime and sometimes both lime and garlic. Nothing was too salty. I gave four stars, because the waitress was akin to a robot, and the shrimp cocktail was small for $ 8.50; it only contained 5 shrimp. Still, I wouldn’t hesitate to dine here again.
