My favorite Miami restaurant. The food is always fresh and tasty! It is a gem in a city with a lot of mediocre food. Highly recommend!

I love this Greek place. It has a romantic setting. With big umbrellas and trees for shade. The ambiance were cool. I ordered Traditional Greek Gyro Sandwich-is my favorite. Try this place with you and family.

I absolutely loved it. Romantic atmosphere, great for a date night. The grilled octopus was tender and delicious, our server recommended a Greek wine that paired perfectly with our meal. Oh and make sure you order the Greek yogurt dessert!

Love this Greek place so much that I crave the Greek sampler at least we a month. The atmosphere is excellent, a cute garden, the service is good, thanks Sergio, who has been my waiter the last 3 times I have been there. The food is excellent, the octopus is cooked like it is in Greece, large pieces, grilled and poached with a little seasoning, it is so fresh and pure. The whole fish is a great option if you have a willing companion who will share. The only reason this does not get 5 stars is the location. Although the valet is very reasonable at $ 5, I still get nervous about breaking into my car in that area.

Slow and unfriendly service and the WORST kebab sandwich I ever had. Uneatable. Burned ground beef on a dry piece of pita bread and some raw onions. The side of «house cut fries» was actually just regular frozen fries. The final check was also misleading, as trying to get us to double tip when the 20% gratuity was already added to the total(we were in a party of 8). The rest of the group had Ok meals. Not worthy what they charge for it.

I love this place. It is a Turkish/Greek restaurant. it is filled with Turkish blue décor – which I love. The menu items may be a bit limited, but what they offer is delicious. The mezes are great to enjoy with a group. Get either the Turkish or Greek sampler(honestly, no point getting both). The Turkish cheese, saganaki, is delicious and served warm. The grilled octopus is a delicacy that must be tried as well as the stuffed zucchini. They used to offer sucuk(Turkish sausage), but I believe they don’t anymore. It is a pity since it was quite tasty. However, you can get it in a sandwich! The chicken kebab, moussaka, and the sandwiches are all very good. No matter what you order, make sure to get a side of the garlic yogurt. It goes well with fries, rice, and basically anything. This will also add a dash of authenticity since these cultures add yogurt to almost anything, and I honestly understand why – it’s delish! Try their Turkish wine and coffee, it will sure keep your senses interested and the conversation entertaining.

Mandolin is a large charming super popular restaurant with a beautiful courtyard for outdoor dinning and a small cramped area for inside dinning. the Problem is that the food is really overpriced, and does not warrant the $$$‘s! there are two, much better Greek restaurants in Ft Lauderdale(far away, yes), Thasos and the Greek Isles. we had the lamb special which was disappointing, very dry. the fish was overcooked Also. the appetizer plate was small, verry pricey, but good. this super popular restaurant is all about it’s ambiance!

Went on a Friday evening with two friends and there was a wait, but after dinning I can see why. This place is so quaint and the food is great. I had the Zucchini filled with eggplant and almonds and it had goat cheese on top. And my friend ordered some lamb meatballs with a Greek side salad. Can’t wait to go back!

I had not visited this restaurant for quite sometime, decided to pay a visit last week and. I was gladly reminded that the service and the food have not changed… it’s even gotten better! we tried the grilled octopus, the mussels and a dish that comes with potatoes, eggplant and Greek yogurt that was sooo good! The ambiance is still very cozy and romantic, service top notch. Oh and please order the white sangria… you will not be disappointed.

I have been wanting to come to this place for some time now… They do not accept reservations for parties smaller than 8, so it was somewhat complicated to go there! After many times trying to get in, we finally succeeded… Not so great to my surprise!, Food is way below what I thought they had… Service is also something that could improve… I had the gyro… This you can really avoid… Meat is thinly cut and looks like an old roll of salami that was sitting for weeks… Taste wise was also something I did not enjoy much!!! The tzatziki was maybe the best plate they had there and it was nothing special!!! The place has a nice rustic feeling which makes it… Does not have the«clean» look… I would improve on that too… All in all, I would suggest the chef to get back to the drawing board and change the way his staff works… For me, this place is relying on their success… Careful, it can sting you… Enjoy

Lovely patio dining that evokes feelings of actually being somewhere in Greece. It’s dimly lit with Bougainville and heaters so you’ll be warm no matter what the weather. The menu is quite expansive. We decided to stick to the Mezze part of the menu as there were so many things that caught our fancy. We ordered: octopus greek salad trio of dips(tip* you can choose your own trio) giant prawns mussels This felt like a feast for two people and was more than enough food. Overall everything was fresh and flavorful. The highlight was the octopus. I wouldn’t order the mussels again. Service was very effiencent and friendly.

This is a place where you should put aside your shorts and maybe wear a nice top and a skirt. I came here in late february where it was a bit chilly to sit outside, but thank God they had heaters that instantly made me feel hot. They have so many good options for appetizer that my friends and I(group of 6) ordered 4 appetizers and 3 entrees and shared all together. Greek platter– I really enjoyed dips they gave us. They constantly refill bread so I would get this to share for the table. At the end of the meal we still had some leftover. Octopus– ugh sooo tender! You would not expect such texture from octopus leg. Unfortunately, they only give one leg which is good enough for like 2 – 3 people. Calamari– they were fried really well, but i would spend money on something I have not tried before. Lamb chop– I usually hate that distinct smell of lamb but this one did not smell at all. Lamb chop was juicy and tender, and I enjoyed every bit of it. I highly recommend getting this dish for your main course! Fish of the day(Swordfish) — I figured we should get fish of the day since waitresses were recommending it to us, but it wasn’t that great in my opinion. I kinda wish I got something else instead. I’m sure fish of the day is different everyday lol so I would ask before getting it. It was just grilled with no special seasoning. Overall, i would still give 5 star since everything was good. I didn’t try their drinks, but my friend said their sangria is on point!

My first thoughts walking in was, «I can’t believe this is in Miami». And with Greek music playing in the background, what a romantic setting. Covered with umbrellas and trees for shade, I never felt uncomfortable during my dining experience and I typically dislike dining outside! I had grilled octopus, Greek salad and grilled Branzino. The Greek salad was incredibly fresh! The best part about it was the block of feta cheese. The octopus and Branzino was incredibly flavorful, fresh and clean. I would definitely recommend to everyone! I would have given 5 stars– however my main server never came to follow up with how my meals were or if I wanted to order anything else once the kitchen servers gave us our food which I would have appreciated.

I have been tried many Athens restaurants in Miami, this one has the best chops lamb for sure! But I must say, it can not compare with the real Athens ‘s Lamb since I just came back from Europe !

Visited this beautiful quaint outdoor restaurant. I would rate it a 3.5 for several reasons. 1. The outdoor area although very nice, full of mosquitoes and flies. Something should be done. 2. The lack of juices and beverages is limited. Only raspberry tea or lemonade. 3. The time for plates to come out is a bit longer than normal even at low capacity. With that being said. The food is amazing !!! 4.5 stars. From the empanadas, the salad is big and very fresh. Very tasty. The meatballs with cheese are excellent as well. Would come back again for sure.

Great outdoor space… they have canopies, so you can sit there even when it’s drizzling… I wouldn’t recommend this spot if it’s really raining. The food and service were good. the wine list could use some work. The Octopus and Kofta were the standouts.

Mandolin by far is the best Greek restaurant in town. You will feel as if you’re in a secret garden along the Mediterranean Sea. It’s a perfect oasis that fits well for a romantic dinner, girls night out or even amongst a group of friends. Although I’ve only come at night, I can imagine the experience is just as nice during the day. One thing I can recommend when visiting Mandolin, is to do family style. That way you get a better experience off the menu. To start I ordered a Key West brown ale which is also from a local brewery. Even better since I’m all about supporting the locals! As an appetizer my friends and I started light with the cheese saganaki and marinated grilled octopus. Both were absolutely appetizing. If you’re a cheese lover like myself I recommend ordering two cheese saganaki’s as one is just not enough. For the main meal we ordered moussaka which is a traditional dish in Greece. This dish tasted more like a Shepard’s pie but Greek style. In addition to the moussaka we ordered the grilled lamb chops over rice pilaf and the traditional Greek gyro which was so delicious with the tzatziki sauce that we almost ordered a second dish. To finish we had to their baklava which I especially recommend out of the list of desserts. Reservations are strongly encouraged especially around the holiday time. It’s just too good to not be packed!

4.5 stars. Definitely recommend going here. Mediterranean bistro in a garden with fresh grilled food. Delicioso. The sweet: — appetizers. Mad good. Definitely get the STUFFEDZUCCHINI — saucy, stuffed and cooked where it leaves you wanting more. Topped with a dollop of Greek yogurt which is house made. Fresh oregano makes it all the more desirable. KEFTE — lamb and beef mixed spiced patties grilled with a crisp outside and soft juicy inside. Perfectly complimented with Greek yogurt. — fries — mushy, crispy and topped with spices and yogurt sauce. Definitely get — garden — loved sitting in the garden patio even in the rain. The patter of water on the brick surface surrounded by plants took me to a place I’d been before. — service — fast, on point, friendly The sour: A bit pricey for Mediterranean food but it’s worth it.(Side of fries is 10 dollars) — we ordered the chicken platter which was highly recommended. The orzo rice was delicious as was the meat but a little on the dry side Definitely recommend

Mandolin is a great date night place! Also a great place for large groups. They have mostly outdoor seating –and plenty of it! Plus a guest house in the back where there is more seating, the restrooms and a little«market» Gyro($ 14) is my favorite followed by the Lamb Burger($ 14) The gyro meat is tender and the pita soft and warm. The lamb burger is well seasoned. Ask for it Medium or Medium Well but never well done. Ask for a side of yogurt to dip your fries in. The salad served with the burger is citrusy and delicious. Try the white Sangria($ 10), you won’t be disappointed. When I’m dining at Mandolin I feel completely transported to another world and that’s exactly what I want with my meal. The place is gorgeous. Very well thought out.
