Manuel Artime Theather = old school kitsch. Love it.
Saw Nouvelle Vague here and anticipated the fact that it was general admission seating, so I got there early. Got a great seat, front/​center balcony, thanks to the recommendation from Liz T.
Long line for drinks (I wish there was a more efficient bar system), might opt to flask it next time. Chairs were a little bit rickety and could’ve used some extra cushion, but I only noticed because I was sitting in them for 2+ hours. Acoustics good, parking could be worse. I will definitely be back if they keep booking awesome shows.

why, oh why does the artime theatre not have more concerts?!? we just saw jose gonzalez here last night and this venue was fabulous, brilliant even. it’s an old theatre which mostly houses plays, but occasionally has bands perform.
we ended up sitting in the front row of the balcony. perfect location. great sound. great lighting. great everything. i couldn’t stop talking about how i wished they had more concerts here. everything about the place was appealing. from the sounds to the lighting, it all was perfect.
oh, and jose was great too! ;)
