As a physician, I can tell you that Marco Drugs is the finest compounding pharmacy in the Southeast. While most pharmacies simply put pills in bottles or attach a label with your name to a prefilled bottle, the staff at Marco (especially Sonia, the owner/​pharmacist) is a wonderful resource for drug information and even alternative medicine. This is a far different option than a Walgreens or CVS. Try it, and you’ll see.

If you have prescriptions that you take on a monthly basis, I highly recomend that you move all of them over to this fantastic Pharmacy in South Miami at the corner of US1 and Ludlam Rd. Marco Drug and Compounding will take care of any needs that you have for your pharmacueticals and will have you in and out of there in no time at all. I have never had to wait for anything longer than 15 minutes and that was for three prescriptions on a busy morning. The staff are friendly and always sure of what they’re doing. The owner/​pharmacist, Sonia is one of the best and the over all Customer Service cannot be beaten by a pharmacy in the Miami area. I stongly suggest that if you have ever had a problem with your pharmacy, try using Marco Drugs. You will not be disappointed, I guarentee that. I had all of my meds at a CVS and three years ago, I was forced to look around for a place that carried a certain medication, not common. I found Marco and I have been using them ever since for all of my medications. I have been here in Miami for well over 50 years and this pharmacy is by far the best in the area. If you do not have insurance, this place will not take advantage of you and I think the prices that they have are very fair, and in most cases, less expensive than anywhere else. Definitely worth checking out, Marco Drug and Compounding, a pharmacy that do what you need to have done. They are the best!!! Oh, I almost forgot this, you can watch them prepare certain compounded meds through their glass window in back of the counter. Always entertaining while you wait. You don’t get to watch too much because you don’t wait very long.
