I wish there was ZERO stars because I feel bad that I even have to assign 1 star in order to leave a review!
This place is terrible! DO NOT GO! I arrived at their facility after they messed up my appointment and they told me I had to wait 2 hours for the total exam! I was just seeing an optometrist. I went from one room to the other room and then to the doctor’s room to wait for a total of 3 hours to get an eye exam. They do not check the pressure of your eye and other tests that a regular optometrist does. Doctor Ortiz finally showed up, he was nice but he does not respect people’s time! I wonder why he makes appointments. I made a follow up appointment with him, he said to make right after his lunch so I don’t have to wait. I arrived at my appointment time and he was out to lunch. He finally showed up 45 minutes late … no rush… talking to the other doctor, the staff… and when I asked why he was not seeing me yet, they told me that now that he decided to come back from lunch I had to wait for the technician. THERE ARE better doctors in Miami that spend the time, provide a complete eye exams and RESPECT your time! It’s not worth going there!!! do not waist your time!
I made the mistake like other reviewers not to read the Unilocal reviews before I went to see him twice!

The parking situation is a bit of a hassle at this location. You cannot park in the lot facing 152^nd Street or they will tow. Park in the small back lot or on the grass around the building, or the hospital across the street.
Dr. Zachary Segal was awesome. He is professional, thorough, and friendly.
The appointment was easy to schedule and we were seen on time, which is always a plus.

I thought my wait time was long last time because I came as an emergency (no appointment) but this time was no different, however, Dr. Zach is amazing and has an amazing bedside manner with patients. He is professional, knowledgable, thorough and very friendly-​an overall great doctor. Highly recommend the doctor but wish they could work it out to get the wait times down a bit.

Long wait but the doctor is worth it! Dr. Ballen is the best with my daughter
