Doctor of Osteopathy. D.O.‘s are Osteopathic Physicians who are fully educated and licensed to practice in all areas of medicine. They are certified to practice in the areas of family medicine, surgery, obstetrics/​gynecology, pediatrics, internal medicine, as well as other medical specialties and sub-​specialties. They treat patients and prescribe medications in medical offices and hospitals across the country, as well as in all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces. While they certainly employ all of the resources of modern medicine to prevent, detect, and treat disease, they also offer their patients added value.

At Ross Medical Group, our doctors offer quality medical care in the traditional way. Our offices are located in a brand new, state-​of-​the-​art facility that is easily accessible by most of South Florida’s major highways. Our medical office is intended to provide the comfortable and convenient environment of home, with amenities such as free WiFi, a covered parking garage, and an interactive website that allows you to set appointments and order medication refills. When you come in to our office for any reason, our friendly staff will treat you with professionalism and warmth.

Osteopathic Physicians are specially trained to perform a process called Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT), a method in which they use their hands to diagnose and treat the patient, giving particular attention to joints, bones, muscles and nerves.

Dr. Ross is trained as an Osteopathic Physician. He is certified in Family Practice by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians and a member of the American Medical Association (AMA), American Osteopathic Association (AOA), American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP), American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), Southern Medical Association (SMA), a Senior Federal Aviation Examiner with the Federal Aviation Administration and Immigration Examiner.
