My friend recommended I check out Mister Block Café while visiting Miami. This hidden gem is, well, literally hidden at the end of a long, beautifully adorned walkway. Little sitting areas and a few shops line the walkway. Once inside, you find yourself in a rustic haven with stained wood, chalkboards, white marble counters and a gorgeous chevron-print floor. There is an outdoor sitting area as well with brightly painted walls that match the building’s front exterior. Really, Mister Block has a certain aesthetic appeal that I haven’t found elsewhere in Miami. As for the food and coffee – the REAL reason why you will flock to Mister Block Café – they’re definitely worth trying. I did not order off their food menu, but I ordered a croissant. It was probably the best croissant I have ever had. To compliment my pastry, I ordered the iced vanilla latte as recommended by the barista. Unfortunately it was not the best latte I have ever had, and I would not even place it in my top 10. The vanilla was hardly noticeable. It was so unnoticeable that I questioned whether or not I picked up the wrong drink at the pick-up counter. Nonetheless, the latte was smooth and creamy, and I would prefer a Mister Block latte over any Starbucks, Coffee Bean, Dunkin’, etc. any day. You can just tell the difference in quality!

The coffee here is good — I got the cappuchino and after ordering, the very polite barista asked me if I wanted cinammon in it. The latte art on top was also nice. Though, this was the extent of what I enjoyed about this spot. Along with the coffee, I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich on a baguette. After ordering, the cashier told me they were out of that bread, and that their only option was ciabatta(note: there are three types of bread to pick from off the menu). Payed $ 19 in total, which seemed pricey to me. I originally wanted to come here to get some work done on my computer, but the place is so tiny and one family was scattered(unnecessarily so) on the tables available inside in the air conditioning. Outside, there are some tables that Mister Block shares with the other locales. I sat kind of far away from the entrance of the actual coffee shop. The tables were dirty and you could tell that since they belong to multiple locales, no one really takes care of them. I sat down and waited a bit for my sandwich. When it came, it came in a to-go box(although I was eating there), and I was not amused by it. The sandwich was so dry and the chicken was chopped up and upon opening it, the chicken was also grey. It came with chips but they didn’t taste like regular chips and I wasn’t really digging it. I ended up just not eating it and throwing it away, which was a sad waste of money. Overall, I wouldn’t come back here again. It is kind of out of the way and there isn’t much accommodation for guests. The food is not good, from my experience. If you do want to try it though, I recommend getting a coffee and then bouncing to the nearby coffee and café competitors. Not a good place to get work done(no outlets, loud, hot outside in Miami heat).

Mister block café is a cute wittle place hidden in wynwood. They have a nice selection of deserts, coffee, juices, and teas. The staff were very nice and patient and helpful! There’s a nice big patio area in the back but there’s also some café seating. I really dig this place. I would come here again! Plus I have a free Americano since I checked in.

Once again, I cannot why would anyone go to Starbucks when you have places like this at your fingertips. Located in the heart of trendy/hipster Wynwood. This little coffee shops you the artistic vibe and fusion of flavors that make Wynwood a great area in Miami. I only stopped for a quick coffee and quick bite(empanada). The service was on point and the products were delicious. While I didn’t eat anything else, I was able to see other people eating sandwiches and they seemed to be enjoying their food. TIP: This place has a nice patio in the back. Take advantage of it!

I got coffee here with one friend last week. I was in Miami for only a few days and I had heard so much about Wynwood so I had to come check out the art and culture. Mister Block was a great place to chill out and have a coffee. The place is half outdoors half indoors which was really pleasant on a warm day. They have some pretty cool art on the walls and a sick mural outside. The furniture had a vintage/hipster vibe. This space would be amazing for a summer party! Service at the counter was on point too. Recommend.

Love it! Simple as that. Beautiful, shaded patio to rest your feet after walking all over Wynwood. Coffee is superb, too! The Good: This place has plenty of seating… inside and out. Unlike the other coffee place down the street which is always packed, you can find a clean table to savor your drink and actually relax. Since it is tucked away just a bit, you can enjoy a quiet moment away from all the hustle and bustle. The Bad: The growing popularity of Wynwood worries me. So, time your visit carefully! The Special: I simply adore the walls, as everyone else does who visits Wynwood. The walls in the courtyard of Mister Block are not to be missed. Some great photo ops here if you’re looking for them!

It must have been an off day or something. But it did not start off well when you run out of milk and then also run out of soy milk in the middle of an order. Very disappointing. The latte was just way too sour using the almond milk that was left. The other drink that I ordered was the Iced Americano(Black), it was sadly way too watered down and tasted more like soured water. I’m hoping they get their act together and anticipate their demand better next time.

This is a hidden gem in the Wynwood art district. I love their patio with lots of space and shade. The service is amazing. The coffee is okay and the brownie with caramel and nuts is delicious.

Pros: — spacious interior and outdoor seating area — friendly staff — lots and lots of outlets and USB ports for phone charging Cons: — price — $ 6+ for an orange juice that wasn’t even filled to the top of the small cup

How come everyone knew about this place but me?! Nothing I like more than hanging out at a coffee shop. The smell of fresh baked pastries, the aroma of coffee, and browsing my on-line shopping websites on the wi-fi. All that, and a cell phone charging station has wonneth me over! I know Wynwood is hipster heaven and all that, but this little coffee shop is as unpretentious as can be. The coffee is perfecto, the pastries are fresh, the menu is simple and unassuming, and the service is excellent. You cannot ask for more. I truly enjoy stopping in and meeting friends here. The outside area is well shaded for those bright and cool South Florida days and the inside seating areas allow for those very hot and humid South Florida days. If you come during Art-Walk, Second Saturdays, or whatever the locals call it, you’ll find it a nice place to stop and catch your second wind before diving back into art galler-ing or whatever the locals call it. As for me, I prefer the more sedate days in between the hustle and bustle of the local festivities when you can truly enjoy that latte and almond croissant. So, if you’re perambulating around and taking selfies among the walls and doors, make this one of your stops. I guarantee you’ll walk away with at least six selfies and a group shot with coffee in hand!

This place is pretty bad. First off the guy at the register told us to take a seat anywhere and they would cone to us… They never came. We then ordered 2 tuna melts. It took them forever. How hard is it to make a tuna melt, this a small café not a gourmet bistro. They only gave me one tuna melt after asking about my order to 5 different people. This place sucks, go to Wynwood Diner instead.

This is my second time stopping into Mister Block Coffee. The first was right after its much anticipated opening. I had an awful experience both with service and taste. Considering it had just started up, I chose to give it a second shot at a later date. Yesterday’s visit was worse than the first and unfortunately the only reason I’d ever come back again is for the Eden Bar Bakery bars they have in their pastry case. I ordered an iced coffee with a small splash of soy milk. My iced coffee took 15 minutes to make and no, the place was anything but packed. I asked the barista for a cup of water while I waited only to receive a large sigh and eye roll that signaled at the water pot that was outside. It’s disappointing to know that someone can’t say something so simple in a nice way. My 15-minute ice coffee tasted oddly burnt and was basically ¾ soy milk, ¼ coffee despite the emphasis on «just a splash.» Will not be back.

Good and rich coffee surrounded by the unique, colorful and lively atmosphere of Wynwood, fair prices and nice outside sitting in a corridor with fresh air. The music was a bit too loud and noisy for my taste, but the taste of the coffee and the overall feeling was great for a chilly sunday afternoon. Good for a stopover to recharge batteries if you are enjoying art-walking in Wynwood!

Cool vibes here and amazing coffee! Be prepared to wait 15 min for your drink. Pastries are all made fresh daily. Apricot and berry danish look good. I had a hazelnut latte and my husband had an espresso. I enjoyed mine but he was not a fan. Nutella croissant is yummm…

First of all this place has a phone charging station! That’s where it won me over. After walking around all day snapping photos your phone is likely to deplete its battery and so are you. This place allows you to charge both batteries. One serious note, the coffee selection is great. The coffee is great. The décor and ambiance is very nice. I truly enjoy it. The café lattes are very good. But the Chai Latte there is awesome. It comes out in an interesting tea bag, which I’ll post a photo. So you let it brew to your liking! Certainly one of my go to places in Wynwood for coffee and rest between long walks.

Service. yes, service seems to have been forgotten in the touristy areas of the land of forced 18% automatic gratuities. So when a spot has friendly service and employees who go out of their way, damn right it’s a 5 star experience. I had stopped at Mister Block(with it’s funny hipster with a bowler hat logo :) earlier this year for coffee and a pastry when brunch at it’s more-hyped next door neighbor left me hungry. Service was nice then. so I decided to check them out when I was hungry after Baseling last night. They have two FREE cellphone chargers outside, and both were occupied when I stopped for dinner. I inquired if they knew another location where I can charge my phone. Well, one of the employees was kind enough to take her phone off and let me charge mine. Another one took the necessary food picture so I can document my tasty sandwich and salad for posterity and Unilocal. Yes, the food. I ordered both a caprese salad and chicken sandwich, out of both hunger and PSTD(Portion Size Traumatic Disorder) in Tourist Tapas Land. Suffice it to say that portion sizes are generous enough that I had to work to finish my sandwich. The very delicious caprese salad was made of large tomato and creamy mozzarella, balsamic vinegar and fresh mixed greens. Next up was my chicken sandwich on warmly toasted bread, balsamic toast and salad mix. I was also complemented with a chocolate and coffee bean cake. They don’t have a liquor license, but the latte I had with my meal gave me an extra boost of energy for a couple more hours of Baseling.

The stars here boil down to none other than my Mocha Latte being amazing and totally memorable but the fifth star gets booted since service on this particular day didn’t seem all that special. As a matter of fact, my cashier seemed as if she was asleep thru half of the transaction and uneager to speak in general. I won’t hold that against Mister Block though only because my latte made up for it and was really thaaaaat good. Décor was cute and well though out and the free charging stations were also a nice added convenience. Hoping to return again to maybe try out some of the other items and hopefully get a happier employee whose awake and excited about life.

The décor and ambience is eye catching. I went for a brunch and loved it. The cappuccino is perfectly made and well served. The staff was friendly. Prices are affordable and perfect to go read a book and catch up on your work. I will definitely start coming here more often. I didn’t see many outlets to plug in computer though but they have a lot of seating areas.

This place has a lot of potential, but right now the whole experience is a little uneven. I stopped by to today to get a quick breakfast(green juice and a spinach empanada). The first thing I noticed was the décor which is impeccable. I guess some combination of rustic and modern inside, and then a great courtyard patio area outside. Since I wasn’t ordering a sandwich I ordered at the counter. The first thing was I experienced quite a bit of sticker shock — the total for those two items was close to $ 16. I know fresh pressed juices are always expensive but nearly $ 4 for a regular size empanada really seemed excessive. I grabbed my juice and waited outside for them to heat up my empanada. It probably took five minutes plus and when they brought it to me it was definitely a bit burned. It’s a shame because the spinach and cheese filling inside was incredible. I’d love to come back, but I would def have to be a bit more wowed to make this a regular spot.

I wanted to come by thanks to the love shared by their neighbor, Iniva, on their Instagram account. It was my birthday and I wanted to treat myself to an iced latte after walking around for a while. The set-up is great! There is plenty of seating inside and outside but, of course, the heat lately has been unbearable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have great options from coffee to juices. I would recommend the iced vanilla latte and their mint lemonade that is SOREFRESHING! I look forward to stopping by for an afternoon of work and enjoying the ambiance. All the best to your new business! So far, I love it!
