One of my favorite spots in Kendall that serves a healthier meal. You gotta try the Pesto wrap which comes with bacon, cheese, pesto and a protein of your choosing. For your sides get any of the fritters(plantain, sweet potato, yuca) or the island chips(plantain chips) with that delicious balsamic creamy sauce YUM! Pros: Food is tasty Food is made fresh Cantina program is pretty decent and the portions are good. Service is always great I still consider it fast food, usually in and out in less than 10 minutes. Food is healthy but doesn’t necessarily have that healthy food taste(huge plus) Cons: Space is kind of small Often times the full menu isn’t available

Came here on a weekday during the afternoon. I asked the cashier what he recommended. He asked me what kind of food I was looking for(filling, healthy, fatty, small) I told him healthy and he recommended a chicken and avocado wrap. It was soooo good ! He also had me try some sweet potato fritters which are delicious ! Food was fast, and filling. Recommend if you’re looking for something quick, light, and healthy.

The best cooked salmon I have ever tasted. This cozy spot nestled in a shopping center produces some knockout entrees! You can’t find this quality of food at these prices anywhere. I am very impressed with this place and implore you to try this place out.

Delicious! Wow I am amazed. Today was my first time trying out this place and let me say it did not disappoint me! I had the salmon, brown rice and mediterranean salad. The salmon was so tasty and perfectly cooked. The brown rice and salad were also great. I plan on coming back here for lunch or dinner when in the Kendall area. I highly doubt recommend it.

I’m soooooooooo soooooo happy I found off the grille!!! Paleo Whole 30 Yeay for healthy! I love food I really do but 6 days a week. Okay, 5 days a week I’m super strict with my eating habits and I honestly hate cooking soooooo off the grille it is! Fresh fresh fresh! Healthy and oh yeah not so healthy sweet potato fritters! But what the heck it’s a great place. They are cantina style so you can pick up your meals daily. PICKUP Unfortunately they don’t deliver just yet

I want to start my review with stating that I loved this place. I enjoyed coming here once a week to eat great, healthy, and affordable food. That’s a tricky combination to get nowadays. However for me, customer service is the most important thing in the hospitality business. I called in a while back to order what I always do. 2 orders of the southwest tacos with some extra sauce for the plantain chips. I ordered an extra order of plantain chips because they were so good. When I picked up my order I didn’t check it. That was my fault. I got home and realized that I had locked up 1 order, and 3 sides of plantain chips. Though tasty as they may be, no one wants 3 orders of plantain chips. I called the restaurant and explained the issue and they told me to come right in. On arrival, I explained the issue and the mix up. I explained that I was ordering this to have dinner with my wife. Every time I order from here(and if you order to go as well you know this) they separate the lettuce, tomatoes, and sauces from the tacos. They do this so that when you sit down to eat, your meal can be fresh. The order I had in my hand was completely prepared already. So an hour after I picked it up, when home, and drove back, I asked them if I could pay for a second order(mind you I had already paid for 2 extra sides of plantain chips) and if they could properly prepare 2 orders for me and take back the order that they clearly made for an in house order, not a Togo order. The response I got was«the manager doesn’t like taking food back so we are not going to be able to do that» I thanked the young lady that was attending me because honestly, she was very nice and wasn’t to blame, took my meal and went home. Dinner was disappointing this night, but one night of disappointment for me does not compare to permanently losing a recurring customer in the restaurant business permanently. I would not recommend anyone to visit this location.

I’ve never tried anything else here besides the wraps because that’s what they’re best at. So, so good and I always get the yuca or sweet potato fritters with my wraps. They’re addicting and so is their pesto sauce. Customer service is eh but I really don’t care about that, it’s more of a take out place and I understand. The wait is always pretty long for your food but it’s worth it for the wraps.

The food at this restaurant is amazing and so is the service. Restaurant opened a half hour late this past Subway but the cook helped us out and made us some incredible meals. I recommend the cantina service. They specialize in Paleo and Whole 30 meals. Speak to Angel, he will assist you with picking the right food combination that is right for you. The restaurant is located in a shopping center. The seating area is limited but very cozy and clean. The restaurant smells clean and the cook is always working to meet your wishes. I will definitely visit again. It’s time to eat healthy!

***Martin, it seems as though there is a communication issue between you and the employees. What I ordered was the vegetarian wrap with pesto sauce(it was nothing but zucchini and onion with pesto sauce. I believe it should have included cilantro and spinach as well, and it didnt.). What my husband ordered, and he was very specific about it, was the pesto wrap, which should have included cheese. He specifically said that he wanted it as it was, minus the bacon. What he received was exactly what I got. We had itentical wraps even though we ordered two different things. Also, I’ve been cooking since I was practically a child. I understand that you have a business to run, but making things up to cover up a gross food issue isn’t the way to go. That was by no means a piece of potato skin. It was thicker than my finger and was fibrous like a piece of meat. It isn’t one mistake that will keep us from your business. We’ve found ourselves picking out bacon from our wraps on several ocassions. This last trip with the wrong order, meat in my potatoes, and extra long wait on a day that was not busy at all, was the last straw for us. It really pains me to update my 5 star review to a 1 star, but this place has gone downhill. Apparently a staff member decided not to show up for work today and that meant that the only sides available were brown rice and sweet potato mash. I understand that stuff like that can happen, which sucks for everyone, but I was fine with ordering the mash. My husband and I each ordered different vegetarian wraps. After waiting for 20 minutes his order was wrong, but at that point he was so hungry he ate it anyway. There was no way we could wait almost half an hour for another wrap. My wrap was a bit of a soggy mess, but the flavor was fine. And I was famished by the time it arrived so I ate it with a fork and knife after picking off the soggy wrap. My sweet potato mash was room temperature and at the bottom I found a big piece of old, hard steak. We’re talking rock hard. This piece of meat must have been several days old. Why was there old meat in my sweet potato mash? We were the first customers at the restaurant so it wasn’t the remnants of the previous order. I posted a picture of the mysterious meat after I was able to cut through it. At first I thought it was a burnt piece of potato skin, but it definitely wasn’t. You can see how thick it is in the picture. When I brought it up to the employee at the front he seemed pretty indifferent and asked if I wanted a new meal. It almost felt like he thought I was trying to scam my way into a free meal. They can keep the $ 20 because it’ll be the last money they ever get from us. I can’t imagine ever eating here again.

Absolutely love this place! I work across the street and I think we’ve ordered pretty much everything for lunch. Their sweet potato fritters are unreal. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would.

Absolutely love this hidden gem. This has been here for a few years; I’ve always came back to enjoy the good service and even better food. The ambience is perfect for those who enjoy to dine alone, like myself, yet still a place to dine intimately with some friends. OTG has a paleo menu, home cooked, fresh everything mixture of completely delicious foods to choose from. When ordering the yuca bites, order extra pesto sauce. It’s work the extra change.

Off the Grille is a small family-owned Caribbean-inspired eatery that has some of the most delicious, flavor-packed healthy food I have ever encountered. Looking to eat Paleo? No problem. Gluten free? They’ve got you. My favorites are the wraps — there’s not a single wrap on the menu that won’t thrill your taste buds. Chicken pesto and chicken avocado are my go-tos, but take your pick… you really cannot go wrong. They’re all whole wheat tortillas, and there’s no cheese in them. Such a departure from my usual Chipotle burrito orders, and yet — I don’t even miss them. These people know that health-conscious doesn’t have to mean devoid of all flavor. I’m happy to keep coming back to Off The Grille day after day after day after day.

I finally got to try this place. I can see what all the hype is about. The food was delicious & fresh! I ordered the shrimp & steak combo with veggies & the yucca bites(OMG those things are delicious!!!). So, so, so good! It was a lot of food. I only ended up eating half, which worked out and I was able to eat the other half for a late lunch. Best thing for me is that they offer a paleo & whole 30 menu! That is so rare here in Kendall. I’m so glad I now work in the corner. Looks like I found my new lunch spot.

I loved this place I had the Mahi Mahi with paleo sides. They cooked the fish perfect, the salad it came with was awesome, and there were huge portions. I will totally go back. The restaurant is pretty bare bones. It’s small, kinda warm, and an awesome menu that’s pretty much healthy no matter how you go. The staff was polite, and quick. I really don’t have anything negative to say about it. A good experience. The Pros 1) Healthy & Good — seems hard to find a place that both of these… Off the Grille is awesome at both 2) Quick — They get you out of there quick 3) Good value — you’ll leave having spent like $ 12 to $ 15 a person, but the portions are great, it tastes good, and most of it is good for you.

Stumbled upon this place after asking a cashier at PetCo«What’s a good place to eat around here?» And checking Unilocal, and we couldn’t have been more pleased. My boyfriend orderd the Whole 30 Steak and I ordered the Whole 30 Seared Tuna. Neither of us follow the Whole 30, but we liked the sweet potato mash option, as opposed to the Paleo option, which comes with a side salad. It also came with some fresh grilled veggies, which were absolutely delicious. My boyfriend thought the steak was good, but was«kinda jealous» of the tuna. I haven’t had tuna that perfectly seared in years. In sum, the food was fresh and cooked perfectly. This place is not only a great option if you’re in Kendall, but it worth the trek if you want some fresh, good food – especially if you are a seared tuna aficionado!

Wow. Just wow. My boyfriend and I are visiting family and we needed a good meal. This place was on point! Very small and laid back atmosphere but don’t let that fool you because the food is PACKED with tons of flavor. I ordered the teriyaki and chose the seared tuna as my protein with a Mediterranean side salad and mixed veggies. My boyfriend ordered the Caribbean entrée with steak, brown rice and pinto beans as well as the yuca bites. You guys. If you’re reading this to determine how good this place is, just take my word for it and go. I can’t even comment on anything individually because everything was so delicious.

Just finished my first week of cantina and I have to say I’m impressed. All of the food has been delicious and well portioned. Only problem is that you don’t know what food you will be getting each day and you can’t pick your meals. Of the 15 meals I had this week, there was only one that I wasn’t a big fan of. You have to pick up your meals everyday and I have yet to walk in there without being greeted by staff that are all smiles and they’ll get you in and out in under 2 minutes. Aside from the cantina, their chicken fajita wrap has me hooked.

OTG is a hidden gem among the popular food chains in this tiny little shopping center. It’s nothing glamours inside or out, but what does that matter when you’re chowing down on delicious & healthy food?! OTG offers satisfying fuel for your body. As you walk in, all the daily specials are written in chalk on the first board, and then you have the everyday menu items, which is priced by your choice of protein. As always, I dive straight into the Pesto Chicken Wrap. Roughly ten minutes after you place your order, the food is delivered to your table. The chef cooks to order, so your food is always guaranteed fresh. The pesto wrap usually comes with tomatoes, onions, bacon, pesto sauce and your choice of protein. Note: the portion size is very generous! Plus, every order comes with plantain chips, and what could get better than that? Mmmm. The staff here is always friendly and welcoming. Anything you need, they’re more than happy to help. For a healthy bite that won’t cost you an arm and a leg, OTG is the place to be!
