PanIQ Room Miami

A couple friends invited my husband and I to PanIQ Room, and I was really excited to try one of these types of activities for the first time. I’ve heard of different places that offer the puzzle room activity, but wasn’t quite sure what kinds of puzzles would be involved. It was actually the first time for everyone in my group, which I think added to the fun because we all had to figure things out together.
I was really glad that my friends had chosen the least scary-​sounding room: the spy room. We arrived at the unassuming location (with free parking!) and waited just a little while for the previous group to finish up. We did have to sign a waiver, which made me a little nervous, but I think they’re just trying to cover all their bases (maybe the scary rooms are really scary?!). When the previous group ended, the employees told us they had to «reset» everything. We of course spent the next couple minutes trying to figure out what that meant!
The worst thing about this is that when I was done, I was really excited and wanted to tell everyone about it – BUT, I knew that telling people details would really ruin it for them, so it’s like having a really good secret. What I will say is that it is pretty challenging, but definitely a fun group event. I think this would be good for teenagers if they don’t get frustrated too easily (although I do), and if they’re into puzzles and math games (and I’m not). My main point is, not sure most kids would be into it.
You are able to get hints and the employees will check in on you if you’re quiet for a while. We finished our room with help and with time left over, feeling really accomplished and having laughed a lot. I really enjoyed this and would love to do it again!

The haunted hospital room was so fun and realistic and scary that I almost pooped my pants.

This place is great! This is something new and entertaining that everyone should definitely try. The dude working there was super nice and helpful. Definitely plan on going back.

I went with a group of four to Paniq Room. We had a groupon (woo) so we were able to have this experience for a much less expensive price. I don’t know that I’d pay full price but I’m still glad we had this experience.
I had never tried an escape room before this and didn’t really know what to expect at all. We definitely cut it very close and had to ask for a decent a amount of clues. We wouldn’t have made it without the help of our game masters. The employees were super nice and helpful from the moment we walked in.
You definitely have to be on time for your appointment as they say. Also, this was much more difficult than I expected… We definitely were not mentally prepared, haha. I had called a couple days before making the appointment to find out what the different rooms are like and what the locks on the website means… I was told they had no meaning. I want to go back and try another room now that I have a better idea of what to expect.

I bought a groupon for PanIQ Room about a month ago and finally was able to use it tonight! I was really looking forward to it and had no idea what to expect.
I wanted to do a bit of research but was scared I’d accidentally stumble across something that would ruin the experience for me. In retrospect, I didn’t need to go in knowing anything at all. In fact, the only thing I wish I knew was that this was going to be a lot more difficult than I’d anticipated!
Before we went into the room, my group agreed that we wouldn’t ask for hints or accept clues if our game master gave us info. Within 15 minutes, we were giving up on that plan. We definitely couldn’t have made it through without the help of the awesome employees (who were also incredibly sweet before and after the actual game).
My group did the Pirate’s Den room and we’re already planning another trip to try a different room. The only thing I’d be apprehensive about (and I’m not sure how this works because we only had four people) but I truly wondered how six people (if you had that many in your group) would be able to even fit in certain parts of the game! I do think it’d be fun to do with more people, too, but our particular room seemed like it would have been a bit tight for six.
I’d definitely recommend this if you’ve never done anything like it. I’ve heard so much about escape rooms from friends and I’m glad that PanIQ Room was my first experience!

What a fun experience! Thanks Carlos G. For putting together an awesome UYE. I have never done one of these before and I was excited and nervous. I thought I will either feel really smart or feel really dumb lol luckily we solved it within the 60 mins you’re allocated to escape the rooms. There are different themes and they show you a really cool intro video before taking you in. We did the hospital one. I won’t go into detail as to not spoil the experience for those who end up trying it. I will say the clues are more of the puzzle solving type so ya gotta use the good old noggin’ to figure out how escape the rooms. I definitely want to go and try the pirate room. I highly recommend this experience to all (well except if you have heart conditions).

Very happy Carlos G. organized his first UYE at PanIQ Room Miami! It’s been a year since I did another similar room in Coral Gables and I’ve been wanting to check out other spots. Perfect opportunity!
My group of four opted to do the hospital room. I think they should rename it haunted hospital. The video we were shown at the beginning was quite frightening and we were ultimately tasked with discovering what killed all of the patients. From there, we were blindly led into the first room and put to work.
As others have mentioned, I don’t want to give too much away. Compared to the other escape room I tried, I will say this is a lot more puzzle based, rather than having to find lots of clues by breaking things apart. It’s also perfect for four people, as it’s pretty one step at a time. This key leads you to unlock this cabinet, which leads you to figure out this puzzle, which gives you a code, etc. Everyone needs to work together the whole time, rather than work on different parts throughout.
They gave us a walkie talkie for hints. Not going to lie, we got a fair amount of help and got out of the room with minutes to spare!
Overall, I definitely recommend doing this with friends, family or coworkers. It’s super fun and a great bonding experience. With free parking in their lot and plenty of restaurants and things to see nearby, you can definitely make a fun evening out of it!

A big thank you to Carlos G. for organizing a UYE for this, as I’ve been wanting to try this type of places but it’s not a place I can go solo and my other friends weren’t interested.
First off, this place is not easy to find, without proper signage. I couldn’t find the business even though my GPS told me I was right there. Good thing is, they do have a private parking lot so you don’t have to feed the meter.
I can recommend the pirate room. We started with a short intro video (is that clip from Pirates of the Caribbean?) which did psyche us up. After that we were led blind-​folded into a room. Upon opening our eyes we found ourselves inside a small section of a room with a locked gate in front of us. It took us a good 15 minutes, with many hints from the staff, to get us into the main room where the real challenges begin.
It’s hard to say much without giving the game away, but there are math puzzles and word puzzles to solve, involving many digging around and opening combination locks. There are plenty of random items there to throw us off course, and looking back it’s funny how we kept inspecting and inspecting items of no importance at all. Definitely team work is the key here. Precious moments of Savanna, her hand outstretched, channeling like an oracle: I have a 3… 8… and of poor Edwin, whose cries of pain totally went ignored by the rest of us as we had precious few minutes to make it out… and for me, finding that secret tunnel was a major childhood-​dream-​come-​true moment, even if it didn’t lead to Narnia but to another room of challenge…
We did have a lot of fun, and the staff did a good job passing out hints before we get too frustrated or discouraged. We made it out successfully with 55 seconds to spare. Definitely will do better next time. Maybe the spy room? My only issue is that it’s sometimes rather difficult to understand the staff over the walkies.

Edwin and I arrived a bit early and were shown to the waiting room where we took advantage of their games and puzzles to get our brains in the right mode. PRO TIP — Free parking in their lot for customers!
Soon after we signed waivers and waited for the rest of the group.
I had done one other «Escape Room» before and had heard from friends then that they didn’t think it was the best one, so I was excited to try PanIQ room and give them a go. PanIQ room offers three options for rooms — a Pirate themed one, a Spy themed one, and a Hospital themed one. Since there was 8 of us we opted to split into 2 groups of 4 and I begged for the Pirate room lol.
We initially watched a quick video to get us inspired (basically 3 minutes of some pirates hiding treasure) which sounds a bit cheesy, but really did get us amped up lol.
I won’t say much more since I don’t want to give away any of the secrets of the room, but yes it’s hard, yes we used all the clues and hints we could get via walkie talkie, and yes I think having a few more than 4 per room will help your group.
Regardless, we did escape (with 55 seconds left on the clock lol) and we had a blast doing so.
If you haven’t done an escape room before I’d highly recommend PanIQ room for first timers.

I’ve been here twice and have participated in two rooms — spy room and the pirate room. I personally love escape rooms and really enjoy the challenge. I’ve done these with different companies and I have to say that this is a great beginners location. There are some areas where I feel they can improve. They need to ensure that the quest is organized as it should be. I don’t want to expand on the details as to not ruin the experience for anyone for who may be participating. But a quick example is to ensure that the gadgets work as they should. If there’s a flashlight, it needs to have functioning batteries. Considering that you’re on the clock to complete a mission this sort of glitch can cause unnecessary setbacks. The staff is nice but it’s hard to understand them. Either way these experiences are a lot of fun and I highly recommend them.

Ok, this was a trip. We had so much fun. The puzzles are def on the hard side. We left there feeling like we were lobotomized at birth but hey, it was fun to try regardless. We did the haunted hospital room and are considering trying the spy room. We need to redeem ourselves! Lol!
I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Take your brain pills before heading out though! Lol!

Awesome experience, super fun, great for a big group. It definitely tests your math, and problem solving skills. The staff is super fun, nice, and funny, always a plus! Thanks again guys for a great night.

We just finish doing the PanIQ Haunted Hospital room, and OMG ! It was super fun, Since the moment we got there, Kathie and Alejandro I believe is their names were supper attentive and funny, tryng to scare us lol I will definitely recommend this adventure to any one. We made it out with only 2:23 minutes left, it was so excited to look for clues and work together. The only advice I will give, is to have like a camera taking pictures of people’s reaction inside each room … Any ways I give PanIQ 5 stars and we are definitely going back to try the other rooms.

Synopsis: This was a surprise for my boyfriends birthday. They have three rooms, such as: Pirate Room, Haunted Hospital and The iSpy. I did a groupon deal for 4 people for the haunted hospital. You have an hour to figure out the challenges. We made it at 1 hour and 3 minutes.
Location/​The Place: GPS is always tricky. Once around the area, locate the building with the black and white strips. They are located in the parking lot. The place is very artsy and wynwood. There are mazes and puzzles scattered throughout the place. Our booking was for 5:30 — 6:30, depending on the people before you and when they finish. They need time to fix the room. Which is ok, there is a café in the parking lot to by time.
Staff: The staff has sarcastic humor, which we enjoyed. There were swift and helpful throughout the challenges. «Our Gamemaster». Her name is Manualla and she was delightful and helpful.
The Game: With four people, we learned to come together and everyone played their part successfully. Even under pressure, this shows you can focus under stressful situations.
Overall: Great experience and will do the other rooms for sure.

A great change from the norm! Go with a group of friends and do mind games to get you out of a room full tricks, locks, secrets and secrets that I can’t reveal until you get there.
Great fun! Possibility of yelling at dumb friends, so only bring the smart ones!

Amazing! So much fun! I definitely recommend it if you want to try something different! The staff is awesome and hilarious! The room was so much fun. Definitely a brain breaker. Think outside the box!
