Great little chocolatier shop. Service is excellent and the chocolate is very good. You can even have Birthday parties there!

The chocolate covered popcorn is a must. It is truly amazing and fresh… It is on the pricey side. A small bag for 8.50 but so totally worth it… Can’t wait to go today for more choc covered popcorn…

Small place that is filled to the brim with all sorts of goodies of the chocolate variety. The gelato is actually what caught my eye. They had 6 flavors when I went. I tasted 2, which were really good but super sweet. The lady who took care of me suggested the Pistachio as it was the least sweet. I was apprehensive. I’m not a pistachio ice-cream/gelato type of girl… but this one was PHENOMENAL! It was $ 4 for the small serving but it was enough to share and good quality. Totally recommend a visit and will totally return! Would rate 4.5 stars if I could. Only complaint is that I wish they had more seating options. You pretty much have to grab your order and go. Not a place you can really linger while enjoying your sweet treat.

The new management made this place lose everything that made it special before. The quality has gone down and the store has lost its luster. I hope they are on the decline because they no longer deserve to be thought of as a nice little gem in the gables. Now, going there leaves just as bad a taste in my mouth as their over priced product. You have lost a valuable customer, and many will follow.

I can’t really imagine giving a chocolate place less than five stars. Honestly, the folks here deserve it. The staff here was super friendly and helped me figure out which gelato I could actually have, since I’m allergic to eggs. Oh man… that gelato. Plus, I bought some key lime truffles to take home to my parents. They’ve got these amazing sculptured chocolates shaped like shoes and covering wine bottles and all sorts of amazing. Chocolate covered potato chips, chocolate covered cookies, chocolate covered graham crackers… the list goes on and basically, this place is worth it. Plus, I’m always interested in chocolate shops that are in really warm places, mainly because the air conditioning is always top notch.

All that needs to be said is chocolate covered popcorn. It is unreal. We were also curious about the chocolate Pringles. They did not disappoint. Such a great place with really exceptional chocolate. A must try if you haven’t before.

Treats for ANY occasion and EVERY member of the family! You can taste the quality with any treat and the staff is amazing. My ‘go to’ for chocolates and unique treats for special occasions. YUM!!! If you like walnuts, caramel and milk chocolate, the ‘Milk Jag Paws’ are soooo good!

Multiple shelves along the wall display their different selections of chocolate. Whether you want milk chocolate bars, dark chocolate bars, chocolate covered cookies, or anything along that spectrum, I strongly think they might have have everything you need to satisfy your chocolate lover’s needs. I also think taste better than Godiva, but that’s my opinion. Although I did not get a chocolate cup, I ordered a cup of peanut butter chocolate gelato, and it was divine! You could tell the ingredients are pure and refined. And it had a lot of chocolate peanut butter cup piece which were absolutely delicous! My only con is that if you are on a budget, this place is not for you because this place specializes in first class-chocolate. It is affordable with most items priced around $ 3-$ 5, but you can probably find something cheaper at the Publix ten minutes away.

Chocolate Paradise! I was having a typical girl chocolate craving and my friend told me about this place so off we went. The people working there are very friendly and offer samples of some yummy treats. They have chocolate oreos, popcorn, pretzels. everything! its a chocolate lovers dream! it is a little expensive though, so make sure not to get too chocolate wasted ;)

Let me start by saying that I am a chocolate snob. Trust me, I wanted this chocolate shop to be better, but it was just ok in my book. They have a lot of unique selections like chocolate covered pringles and nutter-butters(throwback to my childhood), but the quality of the chocolate is just eh. I also prefer the chocolates to be in a case, served by the pound rather than pre-packaged in bags. The chocolate-covered graham crackers I bought taste a little plastic-y(a la plastic packaging). I did like the free samples and friendly service, but I will continue my search for the BEST chocolate shop in Miami!

Dark chocolate covered almonds, do I really need to say anything else? Well maybe I’ll elaborate a bit. You know when the kids walked into Willy Wonka’s Factory and everything around them was edible, well that’s how I feel when I walk into Peterbrooke! Business cards, cigars, roses, it’s all covered in or made of chocolate! I’m not joking, these people will make you a picture frame made of chocolate with an edible picture in it??? The shop is owned by one woman who runs the show, Sharon. She makes sure everything is tasty, delicious and most of all chocolaty! My favorite thing to eat here are the chocolate covered fruit and nuts, raisins, almonds and craisins, I bring a bag to work and it doesn’t last long! They are also known for their towers of chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate dipped Oreo cookies, can you imagine?! Peterbrooke really helps your chocolate fantasies come true! Come in here ready to indulge!

I am a super fan of Chocolate and as such, I am a fan of a place where I can indulge in my weakness and simply let go. Highly therapeutic. Surprisingly good and authentic despite the fact that being a franchise, they lack the artisan-ship that a good Chocolatier brings to their pieces. But Peterbrooke is creative and diverse. You are certain to find something to satisfy your cravings, or an appropriate gift for any occasion. Good Chocolate and Good Gelato … what’s not to like?

this is the kind of place where i heard a choir of angels sing the first time i walked in. chocolate delights EVERYWHERE. the quality of their chocolate is superior to anything you have ever tasted in your life. they have a constantly changing selection of gelato flavors, both classic and avant-garde. the fall season’s pumpkin cheesecake will change your life. i’m currently in a pumpkin coma, with my pumpkin spice candle from target burning just a foot away from my face and this outrageously yummy pumpkin cheesecake gelato sliding down my gullet. they always have free samples out of truffles and their famous chocolate covered popcorn. the staff is super nice, but i guess who wouldn’t be in an awesome mood with all that exquisite chocolate around?

I’m genuinely surprised no one’s commented on this place yet, but I think that’s part of her trouble. Sharon’s store is kind of hidden back behind Sush Maki a couple doorways down from Books & Books. It’s a wonderful find, and is some of the best chocolates I’ve had. Also, it’s one of the few places around the Gables where you can get decent gelato. Be sure to check it out, and make sure to taste the chocolate covered popcorn!
