This is the worst pollo tropical that exist in probably the world there service here is consistent and summed up in one word HORRIBLE!!! The staff here needs a rude awakening but apparently their corporate team doesn’t care! I came here tonight and stayed in line for 25 mins and yes I timed it because they always make their customers wait and when you get to the window-​every single person that has helped me always has an attitude. I stayed in line at 9pm and by the time I get to order at 9:25, they say they have run out of chicken and it will take 20 mins! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? The name of the place has the word chicken in it how do you run out?!? The worst thing is they did not even have the audacity to send an employee out to tell their customers waiting that they have run out of chicken! If you have a choice DO NOT GO HERE!

My favorite Pollo Tropical. They always get it right here. Love their black beans. The staff is polite and they listen. This restaurant is one of the smallest I’ve been to and its located in a very small strip mall but they keep the place clean and the food is fresh. They even had Mariachis here today for an employee’s birthday, lol! Parking is usually packed but I park on the side, no problem. Best pollo tropical in Kendall!

The customer service at most Pollo Tropical’s is horrible but this location has to be the worst. At the drive thru they do not even acknowledge you. No «hello», «goodbye» or «thank you». They just open the window, stick out their hand waiting for your card, and hand you the food. And with major stank face. They need to learn a thing or two about customer service from Chik-​fil-​A and Starbucks. Their customer service, whether your inside or at the drive thru is top notch and makes you want to come back.

I sometimes come to Pollo Tropical on my lunch break and for a fast food restaurant its not bad. They have on there menu a great variety of healthy food to choose from. I always get the chicken breast meal (which brings 2 chicken breast) that offers 2 sides u can choose from fries, rice, beans, or a side salad. There salads are not that bad as well they also have many different sauces 2 choose from for your salad or whatever you would like it for. My only complaint about this particular Pollo Tropical is that they always get there orders messed up. For instance the day i posted the pics i ordered a chicken quesadilla salad and they gave me a quarter chicken with white rice and black beans. THAT IS A NEGATIVE LOL! Please guys make sure you check your order before driving off also a good tip is sometimes on the receipt they have a offer stating if you give your input on your order you can recieve a buy one get one free meal! ENJOY

Navigating this parking lot is terrible.
The drive through experience is not good.

Not sure why they do not have better star rating. I eat here frequently, it’s inexpensive and the taste is always great. I do not know what they put in their chicken but it’s always juicy and tasty. If you eat in there is always (at least when I have been there is always some always going around giving you either we naps, cleaning or greeting you). Also when you eat in the lines move fairly quickly and have yet to experience a mistake at least a huge one. As for the drive thru, I have only used it a couple of times with no issues but I do check my bags always before I leave any drive thru. Text their site, they send you text messages with specials!

No idea why this place catches such a bad rap. I just finished my lunch and I have zero complaints. I ordered a chicken tropi chop with a side of fries yuca. I asked if I waited a few minutes could I have the yuca well done. They made it fresh. Everyone was working hard and there was an employee cleaning the sauce station. Food was still hot by the time I got back to my office and it was flavorful and tasty as usual with pollo tropical. Besides parking, I see nothing wrong with this location.

This is the worst Pollo Tropical ever! I’ve been here maybe 3 times on emergency since is the only one close to home. Every time I hope next time will be good but this will be my last time. The food does not taste as seasoned as other locations and my food was cold. I also found a hair on the border of the beans container! Not to mention when I got home had to run to the restroom. The only nice thing was that an employee came around asking how everything was to another table and passed me a hand wipe.

This Pollo Tropical is one block from where I live, so when I feel like having PT’s food, I end up driving miles away to another one. They just don’t care. I don’t think they even have management. I’ve found empty sauce containers in my salads. The order is screwed up usually. The food doesn’t taste fresh. The soup is usually just broth without any food in it. The employees are always joking around. You hear it from the drive-​thru window. Again, they just don’t care.

This has to be the worst PT I have ever ordered/​eaten from by far. The inside is usually dirty and the chicken looks l anorexic. Most, if not all, employees here must be inept to some degree. Whatever you order, you are guaranteed to get the wrong thing or incomplete order, its happened on numerous occasions. So triple check your order before leaving!
PS: and dont ask for more than 1 mojo or u get the face of death, like its made of some liquid gold

This Pollo Tropical does not live up to the expectations establish by the food chain. I went with a couple of buddies around lunch time, and we were all dissapointed. All food portions were small compared to others offer by the same company. The place is really small and gets extremelly crowded. I recommend to try any of the other pollo tropical in the area.

I have to say I really like Pollo Tropical’s food, specially the Tropi Chop but I have to say that this location has got to be one of the worst places. I go to it because it is close to work but not once have I gone through their drive through where they have gotten an order right… my co-​workers have the same issue. It’s not like I order a ton of things… one Tropi Chop and they can’t get it right… soooooooo frustrating!
