Business Owner

Board Certified family physician. She received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and Masters of Public Health Degrees from Nova Southeastern University. She completed both her internship and residency training at Palmetto General Hospital in Miami, Florida and a Health Policy Fellowship at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Her professional mission in life is to be an agent of change that will increase and positively impact the level of health education in underserved communities. To this end, Dr. Powell regularly speaks to clubs, schools and organizations concerning health education, disease prevention as well as personal development and empowerment.
