Quality Inn Miami Airport

We stayed here for a few days last week. My initial impression of the place was poor but it sort of grew on me as the nights passed. The lobby area was nice and festive but our room seemed old. There was rust in the bathroom and the walls were not that clean (ie. I found disgusting stuff sticking to the wall). The toilet seat was loose and the mattresses were worn. Still, the Wifi and TV worked and kept us distracted.
What raised my opinion of this place was the complimentary breakfast. There wasn’t much of a selection but what they had was good for this type of hotel. There were 4 waffle makers and I liked the cake. Of course, with something this good, there was always a crowd.

Was all right. Clean, but a bit old and outdated. A lot of flight paths went directly over the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, I don’t think we would have stayed there if not for the closeness of the airport for morning flights. It didn’t wow me, but it didn’t turn me off either.

I have been waiting at the airport now for 90 mins. The shuttle still has not picked me up. I am terrified how the rest of my night will go.
Update: he finally did show up. He was busy picking up his friends who he was giving a ride to a different hotel. So he missed seeing me. Got in Bed by midnight. The front desk clerk was good, polite and even fixed me up with a light dinner (As all the eating places were closed).
Room was OK. Could benefit from some upgrades and modernization.
Breakfast was very good.
I would recommend this place if you were stuck without a room like I was due to my earlier than planned arrival. But if you are planning properly, you shouldn’t consider this.

We purchased the cruise and park package but did not use it. After arriving at the hotel we discovered it was not in a good location and where you were to park the car was even worse. We were told the shuttle would not leave for the ship until 12 noon which was totally unacceptable. We did a test drive to the port and talked with one of the port policeman and he advised us we would be much better off to park at the port. He told us the parking there had 24 hour security. So we took his advice and paid the $ 20 per day to park at the port. It was right near where we needed to be so parking our car and going back to it was extremely easy. The Quality Inn itself was old, musty and we even got stuck in the elevator (they did get us out quickly). I also asked about mailing a Valentine’s day card to my 10 month old grand daughter and they said they had a basket right there that the mailman picked up every day. Well it is now Easter and she still hasn’t received her Valentine. (I always put my return address on so we know it didn’t get lost in the mail!!!) I would definitely not recommend this place and definitely don’t leave your car here for a week. PARK AT THE PORT.

Breakfast was good. Room was decent. Could use some updating. Poor communication on shuttle service.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. They have an excellent free breakfast in the morning till 9:00am. I only have one complaint, my toilet had water leaking into the bowl constantly making noise.

This hotel needs major restoration. On top of that personnel has very poor manners and the «included breakfast» leaves a lot to be desired! A piece of advice, get yourself another accommodation
