I like it a lot! Try the pesto prociutto panini! Service is good and owners are sweethearts! Ah!!! Oatmeal N chocolate cookies are my fave!!!

Old school juicer in downtown that is both natural and healthy. Perfect for detox, the old and cheap way. Abundant fruits can be found here as well for sale. They also have subs and wraps, but the juices are the bulk of its business.
The hours can be a bit weird, but it has stayed open throughout the years and still doesn’t seem to die anytime soon.

This small juice bar /​vegetable stand /​sandwich place is a true hidden gem in Miami. Their juices and smoothies are always made fresh. Their veggie selection is a good mix of local produce and imports. And best off all is the reasonable prices. In the Miami world of $ 10 smoothies, this place is a breath if fresh air. I am now a regular for both drinks and produce. Support this local business and visit often, I know I will.

This place has the best fresh shakes. I would recommend: spinach celery ginger apple and pineapple. Richard will give you a huge cup and also let you refill it with the leftover from the machine. Definitely will come back. Staff is also friend.

Awesome little shop! Great place for fresh fruits and vegetables, but the highlight here is the fresh juices and smoothies, and the incredibly nice and humble owner that is always behind the counter serving up food and drinks with a pleasant attitude.
Our last visit we requested a lemonade with a shot of beet juice and he happily complied. At 16 ounces it was under $ 5 and tasted sooo good. Everything here is fresh, that means no bottled juices or shit like that. Do bring cash, no CC’s accepted here.

Delicious! Clean and the juices are made fresh and incredibly fast.
Haven’t tried the sandwiches, but the juices and their prices alone gives them 5 stars.

I stopped by Richards on my way to take the MetroMover and was encouraged by all the good reviews it has received, so decided to give it a try. As you enter you are surrounded by ripe fruits and vegetables all for sale at reasonable prices.
There are plenty of smoothies and juices to choose from, so I asked the owner if I can create my own. He was happy to do so and told me to just choose the fruits and veggies and he would juice them. So I ordered a veggie and apple juice combo and was charged $ 4.00 for a 16oz cup. It was very delicious and refreshing.
I noticed more people entering and one customer actually picked out his mangoes and asked for them to be used in a smoothie. The owner honored his request.
Richards is about a block and a half south of Miami Dade College and its a great place to stop and indulge in a healthy treat.
Bring cash because they do not accept any other form of payment.
Definitely will be back!

Like a spot of sunshine! After walking around downtown to attend several events for DWNTWN Art Days I was hot, exhausted, and hungry. But, I really did not want to go anywhere for lunch. I Unilocaled up some places nearby and decided juice sounded good. So happy I stopped into Richard’s. They have all kinds of juices — made of fruits or veggies — as well as smoothies, salads, and sandwiches. I can only vouch for the fruit juice which was great. I had mango papaya. It was kind of like a smoothie because it was thick and made with ice. It seems that there’s always a little extra in the blender, and he just gives you that along with your plastic cup so you can take a few sips and add in the rest of the juice. The shop sells fruits and veggies too, and the local, tropical ones like mamey looked great.

What an amazing hole in the wall for juices and smoothies!
I literally ran into this one-​man-​shop downtown after a long run on a hot day. Dozens of juice combos with options to add protein, PB. Or stick to nature’s good stuff and just keep it naked. There’s a refrigerator with cold drinks and lots of fresh fruit with grab and go bargains.
In my exhausted state I didn’t notice the small hand written sign ‘cash only’. I was about to walk away sweaty and sans smoothie, when the sweet man told me to take it and come back with payment later! Extra star for the honor system being alive in downtown Miami, go figure.

Two stars overall, but 3 stars if you just want a drink.
Richards fruit center does make great juices and smoothies, and if you are in the area and want something healthy and cooling, it’s a great place to stop in. However, I wouldn’t advise that you eat a sandwich
here — the cold cuts and cheeses are not good — my turkey had that nasty, cheap, slippery quality, and anything you order hot will just be put in the microwave.

I used to come here a few times back in the days I attended MDC, when I got tired of having cafeteria food and McDonald’s by it.
I pass by again and see that this business is still here, only to find out they moved a few blocks away.
The owner himself is always there, he goes by Richard but his name is really Ralf. :) When he was out of something, he would still try to make the drink the way I wanted it. He truly cares about your needs when you order something. I loved my strawberry banana smoothies whenever I went there. Also, yummy tuna sandwich!
To the owner: Don’t ever close up your shop :)

This place is awesome. I have been coming here for years. Such an awesome sub! True authentic Italian sub taste… Fresh meat and veggies… all on fresh baked bread. and salads too… Its a little hole in the wall but the guys that work there (2 brothers) make some tasty sandwiches. and smoothies and juices too. and they are quick to prepare your food. The only minus is there is only seating for about 4 inside (bar style) and theres NO PARKING. its a pretty busy street but theres a little pull-​off across the street that you can pull into as you pick up your food. You gotta try their sandwiches tho, awesomeness…
Oh yeah, and its cash only…

i did the critical mass bike ride this morning and when coming back home… all dehydrated and hot, a natural OJ sounded perfect, so i went in for it. my friend had a smoothie called ‘the breeze’ which is a mix of one hundred thousand fruits and even sugar cane. i tried it and kinda felt really plain cause i ordered that delicious OJ. 16oz, 3 $
they also have sandwiches, salads, fresh fruits…
seems like they’ve been in business for a while
