Specialties

We provide all the routine vaccinations your pet needs to stay healthy in our tropical climate. We also carry top quality flea, tick and heartworm preventatives.

In addition to bloodwork, x-​rays, surgery and dentistry, we also provide geriatric care, allergy testing, wellness screenings, hospitalization and emergency care, and advanced dental surgery.

We have a boarding kennel reserved for the exclusive use of our veterinary clients where pets are showered with lots of loving care.

Dr. Kupkee K.

Business Owner

Dr. Kupkee joined Sabal Chase Animal Clinic in 2004, after practicing at various veterinary hospitals in Dade and Broward Counties for seven years. He graduated sixth in his class of 84 from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996, and moved to South Florida in 1999.

In addition to working with dogs and cats, he has been involved in marine mammal rescues and was often called upon to consult in dolphin and manatee rescues as well as assisting in occasional whale strandings.

His commitment to excellence grows each and every day. In addition to wellness and routine care for dogs and cats, his special interests include medicine, surgery, dentistry, dermatology, and dachshunds!

Sabal Chase Animal Clinic has been our pets’ vet for about 10 years. My family adopted a dog, Prince, from a church parishioner that was leaving the country and unfortunately couldn’t take their dog with him. I believe the previous owners were taking Prince to Sabal Chase so we decided to also. A couple years later my dad adopted a chihuahua and a few years after that he found A Shepard mix on the street. 3 dogs and 10 years later I am now on my own with a dog of my own, Tobey, and he has been going to Sabal Chase Animal Clinic for 3 years now. :) I must say, Sabal Chase Animal Clinic is like extended family. The entire team is super friendly and knowledgable. We have been through a lot with our dogs and they have always been there for the good times and the bad. I highly recommend them for your vet needs. They are the best!

Dr. Kupkee and his staff are fantastic and extremely nice. Dr. Kupkee takes his time to explain everything in detail. The only thing that I have as a concern is that they try to push other services to you (allergy test) and add things to your visit charge which can make your vet visit way more expensive than other places.
My dog had an allergic reaction to something in her food all over her skin. I took her in and I was tried to get suckered into the allergy test. I explained that I am on a tight budget but I would think about it. They weren’t pushy after that. I had to buy an allergy shampoo and spray (made and sold only by the doctor’s office) which worked great and made the rash go away, but very pricey.
Instead of giving my dog an expensive allergy test, I changed her food to something with limited ingredients, and that helped.
They do give you discounts, which does help.
In a nutshell, the service is great, but they do try to get you to buy services, while sometimes needed, I was able to figure things out on my own. They don’t try to keep pushing them on you when you say no or maybe later. Expect a pricey vet visit.

We were very lucky to find this animal clinic after adopting our dog. They diagnosed his infection and provided us with both traditional medical and homeopathic options to treat him. We’re still in the process of recovery and the wonderful staff members have been continuously checking in with us and answering our many questions. Would recommend this clinic to any dog owner and will be referring nearby friends and family.

I have been coming to Sabal Chase Clinic for more than 2 years now. The staff is friendly, but not all of them. The Dr. try to inform you on what is going on with your pet and to fix the problem the the root. That is great, it gives you a security that it will stop. Their prices are not cheap, it is a little bit expensive. They do have various ways to save, which is convenient. The best thing and why I keep coming is because they inform you on the what, where, how, who and which.

I took my boxer there for vomiting. The staff and doctor were very thorough and caring. They ran bloodwork and xrays, some injections and by the next morning She was 100% back to normal. Thanks guys. You rock!

I was With this clinic for many years. I left when my pet became terminally ill and Dr. KUPEE thought he should get his teeth cleaned.
Ah hello?
Never again did I set foot in there when his concerns were more about his bottom line than the well being of my pet.
If I could give him a minus star I would.

I just realized, I never followed up with what happened when I took my dog to his regular vet, the only thing he needed was a $ 10 eye drops. That’s it! All of the other tests and medicines that Sabal recommended were all unnecessary.

The staff and Dr. here saved my dogs life this past Saturday. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this place is and I am so thankful for all they did to save my dog.
My dog bit a toad and by the time we got there he was stiff and unresponsive. The Dr. and her staff dropped everything they were doing and spent hours attending to my dog and going above and beyond to save him. Each staff member genuinely cared about my dog and would not give up on him. After a few hours of relentless work they were able to stabilize him against all odds. They were extremely knowledgeable and caring during the whole ordeal.
They referred us to an ER clinic in case my dog got worse during the night and we did have to take him as he became dehydrated. The first thing the vet told us at the ER was that everything they did and all medication provided was exactly what he needed and that it was miraculous that they were able to save my dog considering how bad he had been poisoned.
Today I received a call from Sabal chase to check up on my dog and to let me know they had reviewed the notes sent over from the ER. I have never been to a vet that calls days later to check up on your dog. Just another example as to how they go above and beyond.
Thank you to Sabal Chase doctors and staff for the excellent care you provided to my dog. I will not take my dog anywhere else and I recommend this place to anyone looking for a reasonably priced place that truly cares about your pet!

After reading the previous reviews about SCAC I decided to take my Munchkin in for what I thought was an emergency visit. I am a first time cat owner so I am learning as I go along so the first time my Moxie was in heat freaked me out and I thought she was sick or worse. When I arrived with her the vet and the staff all had a very calming effect. There was little wait time to meet with the vet and he immediatly told me she was fine that she was just in heat lol. Sooo I went ahead and made an appt to have her spaded and they were very helpful with the cost of the procedure and on their website they have several coupons so our visit was FREE! She had her procedure done a week ago and they have been so helpful in making sure she is okay and talking me through the whole thing. Truly special is all I can say about this team. I will never take Moxie anywhere else ever again.
