This is probably my favorite Columbian restaurant in Miami. Food is excellent. There is always a special of the day. The wait time is under 5 minutes and it is delicious. My favorites are the pollo empanizado and the slateado de pollo y carne. They serve breakfast and do deliveries although I have not tried either yet. Nice cozy and comfortable seating are with low music playing. Great for a quick bite to eat, business meeting or romantic night. The parking is plentiful and free. Located in the same plaza as Hot Wheels/Super Wheels. I highly recommend this place. I am here now again and will end this here as my food has arrived. Sopa de platano,… Que Rrrrrrrico

Sooooooo happy this is my neighborhood spot to go to. They get 4 stars because they have a crappy beer selection. The food is always sooooooo good. Love this place!

I would not have found this place without some« Unilocal Help». Located in an old strip shopping center(so old I used to take my 25 yr old daughter to the pre school next door when she was an infant). This is a small basic eatery with really good Colombian comfort food. The waitress serving us was friendly and helpful explaining the menu items(although I had to brush off my dusty Spanish skills). To start off we had a meaty empanada with a flaky crust that was quite good. Also had an arepa which was ok. It was less substantial than the ones I’m used to having at festivals around South Florida. For the main course I had the Bandeja Sabores. This is a great value as you get a huge quantity of food for a good price. This delicious concoction contains skirt steak, a chorizo sausage, fried pork rind(chiccarones), plantains, white rice with red beans all topped with a fried egg! Que Rico! My wife had filet of fish in mushroom sauce which was«ok». At the table was a jar of homemade chimichurri sauce which was the best I’ve ever had! It made all the food at the table taste even better. When I told the waitress how much I liked it she said they sold it. I ended up getting a 10oz styrofoam cup full of this heavenly condiment. The food here’s really good, but the stars come down for lack of any ambience and as the place got more crowded the space became rather cramped. I’d eat here again if I happen to be in the area. Let’s give it 3.5 stars

I was craving some good Sancocho de Costilla, but I’m kind of tired of ordering from the same Colombian restaurants in the area, so I decided to give this restaurant a tryout. I ordered to go so I can’t really rate the restaurant itself, only that it’s a modest and clean place. I made the order over the phone and the customer service was really good, the lady that took my order was courteous and attentive. The prices are good and the Sancocho was on point.

It’s a small quaint little place in the strip mall where super wheels is. We came because they left a flier at my house and we were in the mood for a bandeja paisa. It’s literally walking distance from my house. So their fresh made lemonade is ridiculously good. It’s like a slushy. They also have postobons to drink as well as other things. You can get the bandeja paisa with carne asada, chicken breast, or lomo de cerdo. It also comes with avocado. I liked that you can chose the meat style you want. I’ve been to places and asked if you can do it with chicken breast and people get all upset that you asked to substitute meat. We also ordered their empanadas de carne. They were delicious! If you are into cantinas they offer that service. All in all it was a good experience.

Great food, good prices and friendly service. They have probably the best Colombian empanadas in Miami, don’t be scared of this little hole in the wall.

Great Colombian Food — home cooked, massive portions, tasty and fresh. Cheap, too. Service was great, as was their cortadito afterwards. They keep their beer cold and their Carne Asada sizzles as it’s brought out to you. Don’t be put off by the shady-looking exterior.

First off don’t let the looks deceive you as this place is in an older shopping center and the inside of the restaurant is nothing fancy. However the food and service makes up for all of that. We started off with empanadas and an arepa. Both were so good. As a meal we both had the Bandeja Paisa and were surprised at the amount of food it brought. Two people could have easily eaten from one plate. The meat was cooked perfectly, the beans were delicious and the chicarrones were just greasy enough. Also don’t leave without trying the green sauce that they have on the table. I could have easily poured the whole container on the meat. Will be back soon.

Food vs value is great. Recommend la Bandeja Paisa with grill beef here and the chimicurri. Service is good and responsive. If you order to take out they are generally fast. The only point that takes away a star is the look of the place. Definitely is a hole in the wall.
