Sayos Spa

I have been a client at Sayos for more than 7 years and recommend it. Damaris is a sweetheart and very professional. The manicurists are also excellent.

Place is nice and clean but in pedicure they re-​use the tools, also the acrylic nails they’ve done it so bad, bulky, I got cut in my fingers. They charged me for a full set when I needed a refill for stiletto nails they changed it for squared nails just because the woman didn’t know how to do them.

Sweet ladies — and overall, I really am a fan.
My first manicure was so good — It lasted all the way through more than 10 days of international travel.
Second manicure was not great. I think I may have had the same lady as another reviewer mentions, because my lady did shake and have a hard time seeing. She was super nice but in the end, the service didn’t come out very good. Bubbles, chips… less than a week later and my nails are actually a bit of a mess. It happens.
Next time I make my appointment, I think I will ask who my manicurist will be — and try and get the lady I had the first time.

Worst manicure of my life
Very friendly place, clean and bright. Owner is very inviting and polite.
Manicurist «Candy» shakes and cannot see properly. Result was the wort manicure of life, both in terms of painting and cuticles. I got a shellac manicure so it’s not that I dinged my nails after getting them done– Candy thought this was a job well done.
It’s obvious this person is no longer capable of doing her job. I didn’t feel comfortable speaking to the manager/​owner in front of Candy to voice that this was the worst manicure ever. It’s a shame.

Had to write a review because I am regular costumer. I do not usually review places where I am a regular at, but reviews should also be from the regulars and not the one time visit person.

They are SO unprofessional. = Maybe it is not the Spa the Mandarin hotel, ok, but they are not unprofessional. Sayos Spa is more like the Spa down the street from your house chic and cozy.
They always have a bad attitude when you walk in and ask to get your nails done.=I can agree at times they may seem to have a bad attitude but if you give it a minute you will realize you just judged a book by its cover.
I just went in there asking for a mani/​pedi. =they do have mani/​pedi and for a Downtown Miami place they have very reasonable pricing, without contracting a fungus.
They didn’t have one customer in the whole place. = they actually have steady clientele most times you may have to wait if you came without an appointment.
Just a bunch of technicians sitting around moping.= I am glad they were siting a not making an acrobatic show, as it would not be fitting for a Spa :-)
The owner said that one girl is pregnant and she’s not in the mood. = the pregnant girl is my technician and I LOVE her work and yes she has been suffering hard with morning sickness and severe sensitivity to smell but she does make and effort to come to work and is not sitting on our welfare system.
The other girl has anxiety and the other girl forgot her shoes! Like What!!! Who forgets their shoes?! = LOL, LMAO sorry this I have no comments but it was funny to read and very entertaining.
Don’t even waste your time, take your $$$ elsewhere. = Don’t waste your time if you are only coming for a one time visit, this is my place to go during work break for my mani/​pedi and it is my relaxation from the office.
Bad energy in that place= this is a total negative, they have a GREAT energy and you get to feel peaceful.
The place is always clean and they have a very chic ambiance with great calming music. The owner Damaris has a reputation to be the best at waxing. I cannot attest, I don’t to this service, but from what it seems this must be true, I only get to see her in between clients she is always busy in her treatment room, I have heard people tell her she is worth their drive, I assume the come from far.

I’ve known Damaris for a few years now and she still remains the best in the business. She’s the most passionate and caring person that you will come across in this industry. When I moved away I wasn’t able to see her for awhile and it was incredibly difficult for me find anyone nearly as good as her. Not only is she the best at doing my eyebrows but I can count on her for a facial and a full Brazilian wax. Getting a Brazilian wax is probably one of the scariest and painful things us women do in the name of beauty but when she does it… It’s not that bad! She guides you through the whole thing and even helps you do breathing exercises. Yeah I don’t trust anyone else to go near my vag with hot wax except Damaris
Her salon is a one stop shop where you can get fully waxed, get your nails done and get a facial or massage and walk away feeling like a million bucks!

I talk about and love this place so much I have most of my co-​workers going there too! The salon is clean, bright and has amazing energy! My experience has always been positive at this salon as Damaris, Astrid and Maricela are very professional, do great work and go out of their way to make me and everyone I’ve ever recommended feel comfortable and right at home. They found a cheerleader in me and I’m cheering them all the way to greater success!

I’ve been going to Sayos for about 4 years now, before Sayos I went to many other different wax places but never have I encountered such great place and service. I wax my legs and eyebrows but Damaris reconstructed and fixed my eyebrows completely. I feel and look amazing thanks to her.
I love how clean the entire place is, I think hygiene is very important, the place is always clean and smelling fresh. I’ve also done my mani and pedi and the ladies there are fast, nice and friendly.
I’m not sure why this lady wrote a bad review, she must have rolled out on the wrong side of the bed or something but it’s very unfair, I’ve been a regular now for many years and wouldn’t change Damaris for nothing in this world!

Sayos is an amazing place because it reflects the owner Damaris’ work and customer service ethics. They are professional and the cleanest spa I have ever been to. The place is beautiful and welcoming to both clients and walk ins. I highly recommend Sayos for anyone whether women or men. A satisfied customer.

Damaris (the wax lady/​owner) is amazing! She’s a hard worker, knows her stuff, and has done a wonderful job getting her salon to be one of the nicest in Downtown Miami. This salon is conveniently located across the street from the Miami Tower («the downtown building with the lights»), which is perfect for professionals in the area to escape there during lunch.
I highly recommend visiting her if you want a great waxing experience.

Damaris is what makes Sayos so great. She’s really sweet and you can tell she really loves what she does. It really is tough to find good service in Miami in general, so she’s a breath of fresh air! She is very detail oriented and her prices are like no other in the area. Her spa is super clean and nice and conveniently located walking distance from my place, so that’s a big plus! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for great service and prices.

Really wanted to like the place. The ownee is nice, but complained the whole time about money and her hours. She seemed annoyed at people being there. My 40 $ wax plus tip lasted less than a week. It usually lasts two months. Had to shower after since she left me covered in wax hair and powder. Ill try again, since I really wanted to like the place… but im disappointed that I spent basically 10 $ a day to be semi hairless for 5 days

Damaris is a sweetheart. She’s very thoughtful with trying to make sure all the wax gets removed and that you’re comfortable. Would recommend to everyone.

I was so lucky to enjoy an incredible massage, eyebrow, and lip wax during my time at SAYOS today. I was treated to the best by Damaris and her staff, they are all very professional. Damaris did an outstanding job, my eyebrows look great now!
I’ll return to enjoy more of their great services. I highly RECOMMEND this place!

LOVE this place! Love my waxer (also the owner) Damaris even more!!! The place is bright and clean. She pays attention to detail! She removed ever lil strand of hair! She’s super friendly and pleasant. It’s hard to get great customer service here in Miami. But my experience here was nothing short of excellent. Great reasonable prices. $ 40 for a full Brazilian! Can’t beat that anywhere in Miami! If you’re looking for great waxing services, come here! They rock!
