Soleste West Gables

We’ve been living here since December of 2015. My advice to you is to steer clear of this place.
The good:
1. The apartments are nice and new
2. The central location
3. The maintenance guy Roberto is awesome! I think he’s the only one that really works here.
The Bad:
1. Not enough parking for the residents or the guests. How do you design a building with insufficient parking?
2. The rif-​raf that sneak into the buiding and hang out in the pool blasting raunchy music being rude. You’d think that if your sneaking in to a place you’d at least try to fit in … guess not! Neither management nor security does anything about this … let’s see if this changes. Let me not forget to tell you about the break ins. Lock your doors people!
3. Construction of the building itself is a «Miami» special; looks pretty on the surface, but if you dig deeper its a piece of caca! You hear your neighbors all the time, no privacy. Plus the ikea cabinets in the kitchen fall apart.
4. Cleanliness, I think they clean on Mondays and that’s about it. The floor in the elevators and the hallways are nasty.
5. Overpriced because no one does anything to fix the problem. They just apologize and move on
Ok, I’m done for now. Stay away, I certainly will not be renewing my lease. Very disappointed with this place. I hope that by the time my lease is up in December that I will be able to update this with at better review, but I don’t think that will happen.

Brand new building in the middle of Coral Gables and West Miami. They boast 1, 2, 3 bedroom units plus work/​live units. They have a parking garage under the building, but I hear it gets flooded pretty badly and. Let’s face it. This is Miami. It rains every other day.
The appliances are brand new and the amenities are sweet. The girls working in the office are all nice and help out accordingly. They host plenty of events every month trying to keep the residents interacting with each other but the turnouts have been underwhelming so far. I don’t know the major demographic in the building so maybe it’s just things they aren’t interested in.
Rent is a bit pricey, but it’s expected with a brand new condo style living arrangement. They respond to work orders pretty quickly too so that’s great.
I had to take a star off because of the construction next door. You eventually get used to it, but anyone living on the north side of the building will hate it the first couple of weeks as there is noise early in the morning from it.
It also sucks since that’s your view from the balcony until the building is finished.
Parking for guests are also pretty limited so plan accordingly if you’re expecting company.
Also the gym closes at 11pm even with round the clock security. I’d rather not have to leave my building to hit the gym just because I don’t work conventional hours.
