I must say, this is my first Unilocal review, after deciding not to tackle the move ourselves and hiring a moving company, I just had to take a moment, to say how wonderful Roy Owen was in helping me plan our move to New Jersey from South Florida… scheduled within a couple of days. I can only Pray, the rest of the process goes as smoothly as it did with Roy. He was extremely informative and helpful from taking a look at the home in New Jersey on google earth to make sure the truck would have access, to giving me suggestions on packing fragile items. I also found the pricing to be competitive. I was flooded with calls and emails today from other moving companies, but at the end of the day… Roy stood out!
I’ll do another review after the move is complete!

I used this company for my move from south florida to nevada, they were right on time picking my items up, the moving team was friendly and professional. I had some issues with my storage company and the driver was more than accomodating. They worked around my schedule and had everything delivered in an efficient manner. I would certainly recommend them for a cross country move, saved me a lot of stress!!!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Can’t say I had any complaints with this move. From the initial sale call Jessica was very helpful and very detailed oriented. She help me set everything up with little to no worry, she was always there when I needed her. The day before the move she assured me that if anything were to happen to call her, the movers called and said the were going to be running late due to traffic ! I was in a panic because my building only allowed a move out from 9 – 1 PM. I called Jessica and she quickly told me not to worry and that enough man power was coming to get the job done on time. She was right, Ivory Calvin Jouve and hector were amazing !! They took apart my bed and wrapped everything in the blink of an eye and were out of my condo before 12! I was so relieved. A few days roll by and today my things arrived in Boston, I am so thankful for this company and there great customer service. Definitely a relatable mover in my book !

Moving nationwide is never easy! I shopped around before I was tipped by a friend of this company, I had complications with a lot of the other estimates I received because they all we’re ranging from $ 1200 — $ 3000 !? I didn’t know what was realistic and what was just a low ball. I decided to give this company a call and see what was so different, the minute I spoke to Jessica she offered someone to come out to my home and actually give me a written estimate! This was new being as that no one else every offered, the gentleman came to my home and I quickly noticed the difference in the accuracy of the estimated over the phone VS in person. I quickly reserved my move then and there and the rest was history. The movers were prompt, respectful and hardworking. What they say is true if you need good deceive ask around !! These guys were awesome, I would recommend them.

The movers didn’t show up when scheduled. It was very difficult to get ahold of anyone. No one send over the paperwork until they had all my belongings in their possession. When they did sent over the contract documents, it was in the form of a picture (seemed like they just laid them out on a table and took a snapshot). These were documents that needed signatures too! This kind of documentation should be in PDF form. On top of that, it took them almost three weeks to confirm they could get my stuff to me. The day before the movers arrived at my new place, I get a panicked email saying «I need the address right now!» Even though I had already given it to him in writing via email weeks before. Finally the movers show up (a day late and a dollar short) and start asking me where little things were in the truck, like the screws to my furniture. The entire process was very disorganized and frustrating.

We were very pleased with Solomon & Sons Relocation Services Services. They were on time, very professional and did a great job ensuring that not only our furniture was protected, but the floor and walls as well. They even put stretch wrap up the stairs!
Moving is stressful and this company definitely mitigated some of that stress. They went so far as to rearrange furniture and even switch mattresses to different bedrooms.
We highly recommend this company.

I want to thank Solomon and sons and ivory and his crew for moving me. Probably the best price I found after researching a few companies and everything went well with no problems. It was a flat price and everything was included didn’t have to worry about the time or paying for packing or no other surprise fees. Will definitely use them again.

moving is one of the most aggravating and stressful experiences ever ! Solomon and sons made it easy, my move consisted of many variables that were factored in 2 trucks at 2 different locations and one destination. Attention to detail was needed to every aspect of this move to make it go smoothly, Roy and Amanda made sure to take care of the glitches to make sure there were no surprises on the day of the move. I was blown away with the effort they put into this move to make sure I got what I paid for, in a short amount of time both my tenets rooms were wrapped up and pack properly and on there way. Nothing was damaged or missing. Solomon and sons did it all! I hope I don’t have to move again but when I do I will definitely use them again.

I continue to open boxes moved to me by Solomon and Sons from Miami. Sam, the owner, said he really should not have accepted this job at all. His truck was FULL before he started. One box of completely shattered glasses, platters broken, gashes in my furniture, and an expensive hall tree from Pottery Barn never showed up. The inventory stopped in the middle because Sam got distracted. Did I mention his 53 foot truck showed up for the move and was completely FULL according to Sam? He then parked on the side of a busy road and repacked the truck for 9 hours. Other’s people’s stuff lining the road. This man, Sam, is the owner and should be not doing this work any longer. It was the worst job I’VE EVER SEEN, of any business doing anything! Really.
